Very nice post. I m 100%agree to it. After todays episode its clear that this repeatation of situations are just to make Sona n Dev realize Ish insecurity. Last time before break up it was just restricted to Sona n Ish. Even though Sona explained Dev that Ish didn't accept her. Dev didn't listen to her as Ish was lying to him. Now every thing is happening openly. Today Ish realized her care, love n concern may injurious to Dev. Where as Sona took a right step. Tomm again a jhatka for Ish. She always underestimate Sona in cooking. And tomm Dev is going to appreciate it.
This track is a bit boring but context is right. CV is not showing us out of the storyline..

Absolutely correct. It should be posted on twitter or IG with the channel, makers and the leads tagged. They must have also got annoyed by so much criticism.

I loved your way of looking at the characters! Specially agree with the point that Dev never had a proper transition from a boy to a man. That the same situations are repeated again to show the change in dynamics and also that KRP's episodes are not standalone at all.
I would like to give CVs a benefit of doubt again that they know what they are doing and exactly know how to do it.😊

Thank you... 😊

I could understand your point when you say Ishwari has taken Dev as a partner not a husband as a partner yes I do agree
because it was just the two of them to split family responsibilities to make sure the family survives it was just the two of them that struggled for a better life so Dev could provide a comforting life to his family .

Thank you...😊

Very well written... agree with you and understand your POV.

If this is what CVs are trying to say, then its really very good. They are doing a fab job...

But, the CVs are not conveying clearly what they are trying to show, not everyone are like you who will understand the concept in this way as you have explained, thus, the feel of disconnection.

Its just not the fans, even the actors are feeling disconnected with the show. Be it Shaheer, then Erica and now Supriyaji... all are showing their displeasure in their respective characters and have voiced out in the social media... They don't seem happy about their roles, they are acting like being habitual and doing their job mechanically without feeling it ... Why so? The actors are not made to understand the depth of their roles then???

Explain...

Thank you... 😊

Ishwari suffers from extreme delusion and paranoia disorders. Even today in India the mental disorders are widely misunderstood and is also kind of a social stigma. If anyone says they visited a Psychiatrist or a Psychologist, the first question asked is "are you crazy or is something wrong with your head" . Mental illness like depression, ADHD, eating disorders are not diagnosed properly as people don't usually go to doctors with these symptoms and therefore goes untreated...

In this serial Ishwari loves her son not just as her son but also has delusions and sees him as her partner. When an actor is supposed to emote this, she needs to be able to connect to this. I am sure that none of the actors are ok with doing such a thing. I mean professionally they might accept to do it, but not with conviction. This is something that nobody wants to imagine.

Also any husband in Dev's place would have noticed that his mother has not accepted his wife and that she feels insecure because of her. He also does not say anything when his maami or sister speak ill of her. Any normal brother would have talked to his sister in detail if she came back from her husbands house. But here Dev does not do anything of that sort. And he is portrayed as a successful business man who is also an young achiever...😆

Sonakshi is a doctor. When she first came to Ishwari Nivas she did her job with conviction. Although she respected Ishwari, she was also assertive and made sure that Ishwari listened to her. Now Sonakshi does not say anything most of the time, but always tries to not say anything to Ishwari even if she knows Ishwari is wrong. She does not question most of the time which is making her look like a doormat(she is not is my firm belief 😃)

Given these circumstances, the actors are feeling a disconnect with the show at this time.

But unfortunately, the story chosen by the CVs is as such that Ishwari will go to a very dark place before coming to the light. When Ishwari was subtle in her taunts, the audience were angry at her to the extent of saying things like "she should die". Imagine the audience reaction when Ishwari will resort to direct warfare with Sonakshi...😆

Hope this answers your question.
