It is recommended in high fevers to prevent convulsions.

Oh I never knew about this treatment😳 .Thanks for the information Geena .That's the reason I did not comment on the treatment .

Sonakshi is a nutritionist not a general physician so place where I stay when someone is very sick we always consult physician to prescribe medication. From what I understand Nutritionist cannot prescribe medication for things like fever maybe they can suggest over the counter/general medicines but 104 fever is not gonna away without proper treatment so I would any day talk to my doctor.

Pardon me if my knowledge about nutritionist is wrong

in the show they have shown sona is a MD and then specialized in medicine. either way, fever comes fown by proper care and meds which sonakshi was giving. all the while calling the family doctor

I wonder why Dev is not taken to hospital when temperature is too high.Normally The patient will be taken to hospital where doctors will be awailable round the clock. Mamaji and Vicky are there to assist.
The scene looked purposely written for the sake of melodrama. No surprise that Supriyaji is miffed with the way the track is written.

This should have been sona's moment to shine. After all she is the doctor and dev brought her for his mother at first because she is a damn good one.. This shouldnt have been shown as a mother always knows best moment. Cvs have lost it. They are butchering each character just to make ishwari shine. But in trying to make her shine she became just another villian for the viewers

Even I felt Ishwari was right, even though Doctors tell to give cold/luke warm water in fever, till day I have not give cold/luke warm water for children. Even I am still scared. Ishwari was right, even I get tensed, including cold and cough.

And giving the khada or something like that, it may not cure fever, but you will have some relief, SInce Dev had fever, this will give some relief
