Take a bow, Ashwathy. You summed it up very well. I was Bijoy today and my blood was boiling when I saw the speech part... she is so self obsessed and cares a damn for anyone. Dev has taken after her... worst upbringing when it comes to understanding the feelings of another woman!

I have been reading posts that this speech was a great one..each to his own but as a mother this speech really makes me feel sad real sad

If this was what was said I am speechless..the world opens up to you when you become a parent you start seeing things in new light, when your children become adults you start seeing their perspective. Children bring wonderment back in ones life this in my opinion is not Chotti...but Badi very Badi!.

Appalled to say the least ..is motherhood the only definition of a woman?.

Bachpan mein har sukh dukh mein ma yadh athi par bade hone per sirf dukh mein...??

When our all the sukh is our childrens wellbeing and happiness where is the dukh?

And the best one was Bade hone par nayi duniya basthi hai...patni , dosth sab hoteh hain par ma nahi hoti...

why is it about the world against your mother? isnt it your mother in your world?

No comments just sadness because she forgets that if her mother thought that way she would not be where she is today!

I thought after one becomes a parent ( Bilogical /thru adoption ) your world widens and never reduces in size...because you are the one who introduces the child to the world...so when you see a smaller pic , how can you teach your kid abt the wider world?? Well when you are small your parents teach to handle every situation so that you dont go running to them as you grow older ...hello !!isnt that called parenting ?? and abt running to mom for trouble...that happens ONLY at ur house Ishwari because you didn't allow them outside ur control that is the way you wanted...its all about how you tutor them

CV team if your intention was to introduce the infertility track by this speech let me tell you , you did it in a very wrong way...by writing script for the character Ishwari ... you ppl have become Ishwari and gained her archaic thoughts...

How could you be so insensitive to write a script like this ...did you ever think of the larger audience of this show ?? did you not even once think abt those who cant conceive or who don't have children , how they will feel abt these statements when they watch this show...Do you realise that these women will be taunted again by the society and family when a popular show can glorify the image of mother to such an extent ...that you yourself forgot that we are women first and then the rest...respect for woman doesn't have anything to do with being a sister , mom , aunt , etc...

Women need to be respected irrespective of the roles that we play in life because we are as human as you are !!

PS : I know a lot of ppl have written abt it ...I wanted to add my POV ...I am really hurt...saddd...I knew this lady's speech would be there so didnt watch but when I read what the speech was all about then I went back and saw that part on line...felt disgusted...

Ayan's family and even the Bose family members were a little taken aback. There was definitely surprise and nonchalant praising attitude on there faces. I think Sona picked up on what Ishwari was saying and that is why she went on and joined the hug because Dev's space with his old family extends to everyone else as well. It is not just Dev and Ishwari's space.
