What mature decision she has taken really forward to know any guesses what decision she had taken regarding aunty issue. Has she allowed him to say aunty or she had found some middle way like asha maa, mummyji or she made both maa beta to realise mistake and made them.agree.to. address asha as maa.

I am glad Ishwari overheard the mamma's boy comment. It was needed.

Sona just called a spade a spade. But in similar situations in the past, she has been made to apologize after Ishwari dips into her infamous goody bag full of old tales to spew some gyaan. I am hoping Sona will take a stance this time, the strong yet soft kind, just like the one today.

Like someone already said on this forum, I am loving this iron fist in the velvet glove Sona.

But I sincerely hope that Dev will learn the gravity of his actions, that they will have repercussions. I also hope, this matter will find its due solution and not be brushed aside as a point of contention to be discussed and continued later, anymore.

More than anything, I believe we can celebrate Sona's victory in this matter only when Dev acknowledges and acts in a way whereby he understands that he cannot take Sona's love and affection for his family for granted and that it is a two-way street.

Just saw the episode and precap... I think Sona is handling this very sensitively... She wants to give Dev enough time to think and make the right decision...But when she told Ishwari about it... Ishwari's response clarified the matter to sona that it was not Devs idea but it is Ishwar who is making him do this... Sona might change the strategy a bit here... she is going to act mature and will not call Ishwari aunty in the party and Dev thought she understood him and the matter is closed and hence was saying all the cheesy words...
But clearly you can see Sona is still being sarcastic and she is not going to let it go.. She said yes she is the understanding one and she is the one who will have to make mature decisions as he is incapable of doing anything with out his mother... So rest assured .. dont think sona will just let this go with out taking ishwari and Dev down with her if needed.

for once i am sincerely rooting on Sona. i dont want her to become all mushy and romantic, it being dev birthday... blah blah stuff and let Dev get away with aunty issue.
By the time Asha comes to the party, it is essential that Dev realises that he cannot escape and needs to mend his way.

I am always on Dev's side , to me he is a character that has virtues but yes the only Achilles heel he has is his mom and Ishwari uses it to the best of her advantage
The only person who can make him overcome this single shortcoming of his is Sona. If she gives up now in the name of understanding, the redemption of Dev will go for a toss.

She has asked right questions at the right moment yesterday. she has put up with a lot in the name of family and if Dev cannot accept her family as his extended family then there is no point in her relationships. A very strong questions to the RIGHT person.

I am waiting eagerly to see how the CV's handle it.

This episode made me hate dev so much. How he expects sona to call his mom mother if not it will hurt his mother but he is too stupid or ignorant to realise just like how he knows how hurt his mother will be if sona calls her aunty how much hurt asha will be too if he does it
Dev better grow a conscience.
