And then we have Mahaan Maa (I don't even consider her that anymore. She doesn't behave like any Maa I know) Ishwari Devi!!!! In my opinion, she is single handedly FIGURATIVELY burning her own house down. and burning alive the ones she claims loves!!!!! I know, I am being harsh here, but what this show is showing is downright heart wrenching and heart breaking. How can a mother, who at every moment of day, tells us about her un-ending devotions & sacrifices, her pure love for her children, how she has done sooo much for her, given up sooo much, how she is like a lioness who will protect her young fiercely... be the cause of their downfall.. namely Neha and Dev??? Ishwari wants her children to be happy, or so she tells us, but does everything to snatch the smiles, the choti choti happinesses from them... the moment it appears on their faces.

Ishwari knows Sonakshi is good for Dev, is good for Dixit family... as she has seen how maturely sona handled nikki and neha issues. Ishwari has to be blind to not see all the efforts Sonakshi makes to become a good bahu, good bhabhi, good patni and someday good Maa (mind you, Sona never said.. best bahu or best maa!) not once, before or after, wedding sonakshi has done one single thing that impacted negatively for Dixits. mistakes.. yes she has made and she will make.. She is human after all and a gril who is trying very hard to fit in her new family... but her mistakes are nowhere compared to Mahaan, Self Praising, Mataajee!!!! Its Ishwari's own choti buddhi to think that Neha filed for divorce cause' sona brought RV to house for them to talk. how dumb can she be? or not? it's again her so called "insecruities"? In my mind.. downright evilness to keep control, power, and money of the family in her firm hands. She raised a workhorse, a slave, in Dev and she wants full ownership and control over him. and that's why she does the things she does... she knows in her heart, Sonakshi, with her love and goodness, will make Dev a caring, selfless, a man with a worldview and a BETTER Man than ishwari wants him to be!!

Ishwari doesn't appear to care of either of her kids' "REAL" happiness as parents often do. something called "tough love" to help them see the right path, if needed. Ishwari does no such thing. Instead, she is happy about her daughter's divorce and now unmindful of her pain😡 moving on happily and merrily to destroy Dev's blissful marraige🤢 God knows what her intentions are... she is doing everything to ruin his marriage and destroy it and in process destroy the ones she claims to love. All of this is her own doing and can't be blamed on others!

i am not a great writer like many on this forum, but this is bugging me and I cant help but see the importance of this quote and why makers had GKB burn her own house down!

So...which is worse.. literally "ghar phukna" or figuratively "ghar phunkna"?

P.S. Sorry to those who will think this is a negative post. It is not. I am trying to understand the plot and message from the maker's POV.

Oh yes. She is taking advantage. But instead of plotting and planning she uses opportunities that comes her way. Sona and Dev gives them to her on golden plates and they themself creates rifts among themselves. GKB shows what she is. If it goes to mind games with Ishu then Ishu will win hands down. GKB will not be anywhere in the picture. But the way GKB instigated Vicki against Elena(I don't even like her) that is the limit for me. I will never forgive her for it what ever redemption she does later. If she had a daughter then she might have understood the depth of her fault.
