Well I was going through some of the posts from members who still find Dev's not willing to manage his own clothes is not a big deal due to time management etc.

Well that really rang a bell in my head about Sona. Sona as we know always believed in Fairy Tales and wanted someone romantic etc as life partner. Why exactly did she fall for Dev in that case ? Yes, before marriage his cheesy lines, fake promises etc sounded damn romantic indeed like 'a man loves a woman', 'I want you for myself' etc etc. 😛 But what about having a foresight ?

As the story goes, Dev is a BIGGIE in the business world, so how did Sona assume that Dev can fulfill her level of lifestyle/thoughts after marriage for the rest of their lives ?

Can we really imagine Anil Ambani or Ratan Tata arranging their wardrobes ? 🤔
Can we really imagine the big business tycoons spending ample amount of time with their wives for romance ?
Can we really imagine the priorities of Ambani or Narayanmurthy's to match with the dreams of a middle-class fairy-tale believer woman ? 😕
Can we imagine for a big businessman anything or anyone would come before their business/money at all ? Be it for family reason or not. Dev has family reason but ultimately Money talks in Dixit house.

The enterpreneurs who made it big like Murthy's or G.D.Birla or J.R.T really had that much time to roam around doing vellagiri leading the dreams of middle-class lives ? By Vellagiri I meant these chores which are very insignificant things to them not to us 😆

Well for me what matters most is to have a husband for life, not an earning machine who has no time for me. Like said in Zindagi Naa Milegi Dobara, a guy who has only 3 weeks of holiday in whole year is a slave 😛😆. As the character of Sonakshi was portrayed, she too seemed to have more or less similar type of fairy tales and ideas. Romanticism and falling for workaholics don't go hand in hand 😆 Also one more thing, the wives of such bigshots are always party-bees and big time socialites. Did Sona see herself fitting there as well?

Just a thought triggered from some posts that some people really need not have time to do their own chores and yes, it can happen with the above category people I think. What do you think ?

Please ignore this random useless topic this is just for open fun and discussion 😆 Good night for now and good day to all the people from the other half of the world 😃

Well though Dev Dixit is a big tycoon ...his family still doesn't live like typical rich people. They just hv one servant n Ish does all d cooking n household work. Had some servant managed Dev's clothes n cupboard, Sona wudnt have bothered to tell Dev to do it. But as these works are being done by Ish, Sona wants to lessen Ish's work n hence decided that both Dev n herself will do their own work to help Ish. Sona shud explain to Dev that by doing his own work, he can reduce his mother's efforts n stress. He wud instantly start doing it n he wud even convince Ish.
Other real rich people u listed will definitely live life kingsize n wud hv an army of support staff.

Sona fell for Tall Rich n Handsome Dev Dixit who is a family man, does lot of charity and has a way with words. What she chose to ignore was how manipulative n selfish he can be for his family, his temper n impulsive behaviour, his total disregard for people outside his family n his inability to understand his own mother.

Wat surprises me NOW is why Dev fell for Sona...she is independent, opinionated, likes to talk n discuss before taking action, has abundance of middle class self respect problem, doesn't feel money can solve every problem, doesn't understand his family dynamics n expects love n respect from him.

In my view sona is a simple girl like us...not having painful past or change the whole world thoughts...a simple loving family good profession so like every girl wanta simple life partner and perfect like her parents..then fell in love with dev...even with him she simply expects small things...
For me the fight inconvience dev and sona facing in regarding room is not wrong...infact it will show them their comfort and discomfort...but here problem is third angle ishwari...if she is normal she will tell them adjust foe each other...whatever reaon they are fighting bcoz of ishwari it is going out of hands...the day they make boundary for threir rekation for some things these small fight also will look ugly...
For your question sona wants simple family like hers...but with dev for now it is impossible in future we dont know

Hard to say if this is sarcastic post or not :) ...

I only have one question a genuine one though ?How did you reach to the conclusion that Dev never had time for Sonakshi ?Is it based on the last scene where he was not in a mood to romance his wife ?

Even before confession we have seen him visit her everyday at hospital when she was sick despite his busy schedule and the business tycoon made time for his GF by working overnight so that he can drop his GF everyday to her home .After marriage I never seen Sona complain that Dev is not spending time at home .The business tycoon came home early from work when his wife had to visit her relatives or her family .So again he did not prioritize work over his wife's needs .

Lastly workaholic business man went all the way to her home to bring her back and spent the entire night in road to convince her .Work did not stop him from spending time with his wife

Lets not accuse him of something he didn't do .

Coming to wife of business tycoon being party bees , I beg to differ here they are many wives who have achieved so much in life and are not trophy wives .There are women like Sudha Murthy who has worked equally hard .There are wives like Nita Ambani who are equally talented as their husband .I have watched her interview and she has stuff .She is not just another pretty face .

Dev always had time for Sona before marriage and after marriage.
He is there for her whenever she wanted to visit her people.

He called her to his office and made her eat when she was on fast.

When she injured her leg on Diwali he was by her side and preferred to be with her rather than going with Iswari.
He panicked when she went to her Maika followed her and dragged himself on to the roads due to her foolishness. But he did not blame her. He faced the tag of an eve teaser for her sake.

When she decorated the room in the most tackiest way possible he bore with it silently.

The great Business Tycoon literally can not find place in his cupboard for his clothes neither can he buy a new cupboard . Sonakshi's order.

He became ready to learn things but never said he won't. Funniest thing is like Nitu said Sonakshi never managed anything on her own in her house and depended on her mother. Now she is posing like she never depended on any one.

I think these reasons are enough to show how Dev never neglected Sona despite his busy schedule.

Pehchana Kaun in my thread you asked me what did Dev do for Sona after marriage.
I hope this list is sufficient.

Well I really don't know what Sonakshi wants in life going forward. It really does not matter what she wanted in life in the past.

I find Sonakshi quite stupid at times.

1. During the discussion with Dev in the middle of the night , instead of telling him how much she feels left out in that house and citing instances of being ignored, she jumped to the jhoola. Idiotic ! even my 8 year old daughter does not sway so easily.
2. In the car on the way back home from the Bose house, her childish behaviour to take Ishwari out for an ice-cream when in reality Ishwari had just royally insulted her parents.
3. She wanted Dev to start handling his stuff, shouldn't she sit down and list down the pros and cons rather than leaving a chit/note on the wardrobe door.
4. She wants Dev to learn, won't he have a teething problem to begin with. Could she not help him the initial few days before he gets used to the whole idea.
5. The swing has become her obsessions and all she cares about is adding new features to it each day. Shouldn't she be more bothered about strengthening her ties with her husband first and other things can come later.

Lovely post 😆
I was also on a thinking mode after reading comments supporting and opposing this action/demand of hers. If I remember correctly folding clothes and arranging the wardrobe was one of the chores that she did at her home. May be Saurabh does too. They all used to help Asha in the household chores when she was working.

For me the entire sequence from her going maika, asking Dev to consider her likes too in their room, requesting Ishu to let Dev do his own works independently are all connected. She have understood the heart of their problem and that is his dependency on Ishu. She is trying to make him come out of it. Regardiyher helping him in this- she is not trying to take Ishu's place. What difference will be there if she makes him dependent on her instead of his mother. This exactly shows she is not competing. She has to start somewhere. Personally I loved her move and support it too.

Sona wanted a fairy tale and forgot that there is no Prince charming in real life. If she had gotten a normal guy with normal quirks and shortcomings I would have said wake up girl and smell the coffee.
But in her case she got not a prince, not even a normal guy, - she got a toad posing as a prince. That is why I feel sorry for her. Maybe her kiddish behaviour with respect to her room is just her wanting to have at least something her way, something where she would feel that she is not the only one sacrificing for this relationship, bleeding to make it work.

Maybe her asking Dev to do his own work is just an excuse for her to keep Ishwari from treating her room as a public garden.

Expecting a business tycoon to have time to clean and maintain his wardrobe is absolutely irrational but then when people are neither heard nor heeded in rational matters they tend to become emotional about irrational matters.

Everyone needs a reason to continue having faith, to believe that everything is all right. Therefore I don't blame Sona for trying to clutch at straws.

Well yyy, this aint a sarcastic post at all. It's s genuine curiosity 😆
Sona belongs to a simple middleclass family. I cannot understand why she ever thought that her fairy tale romance can be continued in such filthy rich atmosphere. If Dev has time for all those things till now (like plenty of examples you all gave) why doesn't he have 5 mins time doing his wardrobe is beyond me 😆 But what I am sure about is - Fairy tale romance cannot be fulfilled by a big businessman, their priorities are different. Sooner or later Dev will be totally engaged into his office work like he has been doing since last few yrs, else his company might start having disoriented quarterly profit chart. Sona is anyways going to be deeply isolated in near or far future. This is a kind of baggage which every wife of big business tycoon has to somehow bear with.

Nita Ambani's charity is not just for the sake of charity. That is a way to keep herself busy, something similar to SRK's wife Gauri who has taken up with this job of interior design to spend her time. Sudha Murthy is an exception though ⭐️.

Thanks all for not throwing rotten tomatoes but for once I am truly confused what did Sona expect a big business tycoon to do in her fairy tales 😆 Yeh toh hona hi tha. 😕
