Dev is surprising me every day with the insensitivity he is showing!đHis biggest flaw is that He just speaks out a few words without giving a single thought about how it will affect others or how he would implement his promises.
All his false promises to Sonakshi earlier were broken because of the same reason, because he never took Ishwari's presence in perspective.
Now, when he himself, in all his senses, willingly assured his mom that he admits his mistake of addressing Asha as 'maa' and that it won't happen again. . .he had zero thoughts about Sonakshi. Or Asha. It was all about Ishwari.
No after thoughts because obviously he did the greatest thing ever and his God was happy. Aur kya chahiye?
But, to his horror, now he has to face Sonakshi and Asha while implementing the latest promise. I bet this guy didn't think it will be so difficult.
Such guts he has to address Asha as 'aunty' before Sonakshi. As expected, he lied about itđ¤
Yeah Sonakshiđ You asked the perfect question, that you thought calling her maa came naturally to him. That is what we thought too and that is the reason why Dev's conversation about Jag ki reet that day, did not make sense at all.
It was you Dev who took the initiative and now you are insensitively hurting them. Please dont expect Sonakshi to include you in any of her family matters, the Boses are clearly not family for you.
One good thing about lying though, actually two,
One that he is not that shameless that he blurts the truth before her that my mom feels bad when I call you mom 'maa'
Two, he might be realising slowly (slower than a tubelight) that This decision is not v easy, neither is it pleasant and that it might hurt Sonakshi. Or make him face her wrath.đ
Still, whatever he thought wasn't enough. The thought was erased soon after it. Next, comes Ishwari Dev bonding. I liked Ishwari's scenes today.
She was genuinely trying to keep his promise and followed Sona's wishes diligentlyđđź The way she was pitying Dev was really funnyđ
In both the situations, The swing and the routine change, it is Dev who is at fault, not Ishwari.
It is Dev who makes it look like he is the one who is adjusting while Sonakshi is bringing unwelcome change in his life. Ishwari being a mother, thinks her laadla is being tortured by the repeated Injuries and forced changes.
She will think Dev cannot speak for himself so she will throw out the jhula.
Great.đ
I feel for Sonakshiđ Such unnecessary fuss about a simple piece of furniture. Can't they accept a little fragment of her dream?
Nobody is interested about her, about her wishes. And now it out.
Sonakshi will be so so hurt. I wish Dev had the tiniest bit of sensitivity to come to a mutual decision about the swingerz ai mean Sona would surely have compromise with the way it was placed, had Dev talked about it.
But he is cribbing about it to Ishwari unknowingly and she decides to throw it out.
About Neha, I guess Ishwari madam forgot right after cancellation of HM that Neha's court case is pending. Such a sour taste she leaves, everytime she speaks.
And btw Neha, from which angle you think Sonakshi is happy?
The last scene, the less said the betterđĄ
Honestly, I was mellowed doen throughout the episode for Dev, his stupid struggle was understandable throughout and I also liked how he read sona's note and stopped taking Ishwari's help but this last scene erased it.
Firstly, the scene gave me vibes of an horror show. The way Sonakshi was sitting with folded hands, dim lights accompanied by Dev's ghastly expression when He saw Sonakshi, like he saw a ghost.đ¤˘
Poor Sonakshi, She is under the impression that after her arguement with Dev, he has dil se allowed her to make changes, but here Dev is irritated.
Now when Sona made some more changes, (lets not talk about aesthetics here because Sonakshi had this dream of swinger and she is super excited to have it in their room) Dev is bothered and feels suffocated about itđ
And to top it, he refuses to even spend time with her.
Super greatđ
Sonakshi must have felt really bad.
Dev this is your first sign of indifference for her choice, tomorrow the swing will be thrown out.
Good going, waiting to see Sona's outburst specially when she knows about the Maa thing.
P.S. Dev wanted to say something to Ishwari when he brought clothes. What was it? About Asha or the room decor? Or the change?
