The Murder of a Character called Dev Dixit

What was that!!!!

He won't call his mum-in-law Ma anymore?! Seriously?

I thought only Ishwari needed a bit of mental therapy but looks like her pyaari beta should be shipped out with her.

I truly didn't see that coming.

With the way Dev had adjusted to Sona's ideas for their bedroom, I truly thot CVs were slowly redeeming Dev. And in line with that redemption, they would get him to slowly but surely convince Ishwari that whilst he refers to Sona's mum, as "Ma" because she is a mother of sorts to him through his wife, no one could take Ishwari's place in his life.

That would have been so much better in terms of growing this character, and pave the way for the story to go forward. But nope! Of Course the CVs could not do something sensible.

I declare this a homicide. Don't send in the investigators, we know who did it...

I dont know why im more angry over these words more than anything dev has ever done before. His character is butchered so badly. He better be shown guilty for these words. Instead of pacifying his mom like this which is only a temporary solution he could have told her just like how sona calls her mom now he should also do the same for her mom too. Is that so hard?

can totally relate, my favourite character has been murdered, butchered to the extent that i can no longer feel for it.
all along i have been team Dev, but this single dialogue doesn't go well with me.
today the CV and the writers have really let us down...

Couldn't agree with you more. But then my dear, that would be the sensible thing to do and in the world of the Indian TV Serial sensibility is a swear word 😳

So sad right. Dev was such a sweety. I had so much hope that this serial would show how a man can love his mother and convince her to love her daughter-in-law who wants nothing more than to love and take care of her mother-in-law.

But now...i seriously don't know how they are going to dig Dev out of the hole they have condemned him to

To justify ishwari's psychotic behaviour cvs can stoop to any level. They don't give a hoot to lead character.

No redemption possible after yesterday's episode.
I am eagerly awaiting their separation because sona doesn't deserve this sad life.

She is a lovely girl with a good heart.
I thought Dev had a good heart though he was rude.

No, I was wrong. I couldn't sleep yesterday.
Thinking about the events.

This show has made me like that.
For a person who don't watch serials, watching this show because I like shaheer.
First 90 episodes u can watch in repeat mode.
Showed lot
of promise.

After that only downhill.
Every character is ruined.
Mother is an epitome of selflessness.

They can't demean a mother son relationship like this.

I can repeatedly say there can be mothers like iswari.
But no son will. E as dumb as Dev
