i know today's episode has been disheartening for most of us. I did not want to open a separate post but then I had some thoughts and wanted to pen them.
This story is about three individuals Dev, Sona and Easwari. Mainly about how the two lovers overcome Easwari insecurity and how Easwari turns from an insecure mother to a contented mother . This is not me stating it but what the story promised.
In order for the story to progress there has to be a high point..there is one in every story and I think today was one of a series of high points in this story and many more will unfold in future episodes.
I know all of us are livid at Dev me included but think about this character from the beginning he has always swung from one extreme to another without much balance. We all want character growth in the characters depicted and we have barely seen glimpses of his but even then if he take 2 steps he regresses 10 but usually when you swing you always hit one extreme or other before finding a balance. I think that is where this story is headed.
Dev cannot bear to see Sona unhappy so he goes to her home and begs her to come back. He cannot bear for his mother to be unhappy so he tells his mother that she is most important person in his life. He is yet to connect the dots that the reason for his mothers unhappiness is Sona and the reason for Sona to be unhappy is because she does not feel part of his family..or wanted .
Once he connects these dots is when Dev the character will grow and I strongly believe that is where the story is heading. For him to grow he needs a jolt and face the reality of Easwari's insecurity and that he will..he may swing to an extreme like maybe move away from her just like he did during breakup by moving away from Sona but he will regain balance.
I am thinking only then Sona and he will work together to heal Easwari for she needs a lot of it..as I do think she is mentally not stable.
But in the meantime this story will be a roller coaster ride and maybe not for the faint hearted.
