Beautiful post Sam !!! You have described the feeling associated with it using the metaphor of their room ... I had typed a half reply for your earlier post but couldnot get time to complete it , as the real life catch up with you 😊 . But least I could do is acknowledge your brilliant writing !!! 👏👏👏 .

"All this time we saw Sona's adjustment period, now it is Dev's turn. A big part of this process will be purging Ishwari's presence from the physical space of Dev's room, and the mental space of his marriage. Right now, Ishwari is omnipresent in Dev's life, and all Sona is asking for, is a small space that is hers alone. Ishwari and Dev are still the only ones who have the key to the safe in Dev's room: the most interior part of Dev's room, reflecting the most guarded parts of his psyche. Until Sona is able divest Ishwari of that key, and have total control of it herself, this room cannot be a sanctuary for their marriage. For Sona to demand a space in which Ishwari is not present is both valid and necessary for her to continue to be herself, and therefore to be what Dev needs. "

Sam , all the while I was watching todays episode , I was thinking about your words, and how well you understood Sona !!! 👏👏👏 All those who thought Sona was over reacting , should read this post , it can't be said better than this !!! I'm super happy after watching it especially the fight , I dont know if there is anything wrong with me as I am enjoying my favourite couple's fights more than romance now a days 😉 . But the fight felt so real n natural !!! Sona asked the right questions and for the first time showed her insecure side, even though Dev needed to push her to her limit to share her true feelings with him , I'm glad she did . As always Dev failed to fathom the feeling behind Sona's anger . Being the person who repeatedly told Sona not to change after marriage , and even went to the extreme of confronting his mother for that matter, he believed both of them loved and accepted the way they are and failed to apprehend her feeling. Sona admitted it was a big change for him when she was praising him today , if she was aware of how drastic change, it is for Dev , then I'm disappointed with the way she handled this, she asked why Dev couldn't come to her instead of going to his mother . If Dev could not share what he was going through , I believe somewhere he felt she was not approachable for help or set her expectation level so high that he would be capable of handling it on his own . How could she be so oblivious to her surrounding after imposing a new change on his life, that she failed to notice Dev's cloths were missing from their own cupboard . It wouldn't have lead upto this situation and heartache if she had paid more attention . Nevertheless this conversation was bound to happen , and I really wish Dev realize her feelings and need to be part of something special for him in the true sense .

Wonderfully expressed. I couldn't figure out the in-between the lines metaphors and ideology thrown around when I was trying to connect roadside sorting of the problem to the one that has arisen because the problem has not been seen to the roots as Sona's dad asked Dev to look into but you explained it all in words wonderfully.
