Help me understand

I think this is the second time when i am unable to understand "dont take me for granted " episode .I was re watching the episodes and still i was unable to understand what is the real problem here .Its a genuine question and maybe this discussion will help to see things in a different light

Bang on post!! Sonakshi is meddling into neha's issue when she has been clearly told by neha not to do so.. Even in the last episode I didn't find her expressing wholeheartedly. She just jumped to home decor.. I found that silly.. Lastly her hiding saurabh's problem is wrong and strangely she doesn't even feel guilty about it.

Very good post.Much needed discussion. Frankly speaking I failed to understand Sona's reason for sulking and stretching the issue on to the main roads of Delhi at midnight.As you said Dev always discussed his issues with her. Ofcourse he restricted her from meddling in Neha's affair and he definitely must have had his reasons to do so. You stated many such reasons behind his decision not to involve Sonakshi in Neha matter.

well Said yaar. you know what you will enjoy episodes more when you don't come to forum and don't Read some posts whose only motive is bash and criticize every word and action of dev, ishwari, neha.like they are some criminals and they are doing harm to society and people bashing them and calling names and what not. trust me in real also actual criminals don't called by names which dev called. i felt real sick and disgusting reading those names. they are supposed to be educated and matured people but the names they call shows how mature they are. its damn fictional show and treat like that. its like they are getting personal.twitter is more positive than IF. maybe Twitter have word limits that's why people don't bash 😆but IF don't have any word limit so they are writing essays in the name analyzing ,criticizing and bashing dev and ishwari .i don't mind if they criticize when they are wrong but they conveniently forget others faults and only bash Dev and ishwari only. don't know what sick pleasure they getting. i know its not about post but i want to rant.not in a mood to make a post so iam ranting in your post. hope you don't mind 😆

This show is close to reality...not ki its reality..afterall this is an Indian Show...there must be a little drama in the show... Also they are not showing anything in overdose..like other Shows.. Which I like the Most... (completely my Pov. )

I think it is pretty clear. Sona knows that Dev makes hasty decisions and in those moments of hastiness, his decisions are invariably wrong. All Sona wants is for Dev not to take hasty decisions that cannot be undone.. she has been a victim of hasty and rash decisions.

Also, she wants Dev to discuss things, those things that cause stress to him. She also knows that his family causes him maximum stress and in that unconscious stress he takes rash, irrational decisions. DId we find her interfering in his office affairs where his family is not concerned? Even in the Vicky episode, she did not say do not take him in. All she said is let him join as a trainee.

to me it is quite clear that she will like to discuss matters that weigh heavily on her mind.. Also, when Dev is stressed, she does not want to add to his stress. Like during that morning when Dev and Sona were awake till 4:00am and Dev was trying for Ranveer, Sona herself was stressed about Saurabh.. If she had discussed with Dev about saurabh at that time, it would have been most imprudent.

Finally, she knows it and Dev knows it... Sona is the stronger of the two. In a relationship the stronger one will always want to uphold the weaker one.. it is natural.

Sona did not once complain to Dev about Vicky's misbehaviour with her, GKB's taunts.. it would only stress out Dev more and she knows it.

she is just the life buoy for Dev and a life buoy only anchors a troubled soul.

I donot support sonas actions fully but here are some thought about what sona cares about
1. She wants dev to take decisions by considering all the aspects of the issue. By thinking from everyones pov and not in an angry young man (obhodro) mode
2. She wants him to be a better human being and being show empathy to others. We know he is a very nice human when he is happy but when he is in revenge mode he really doesnt care if innicent ppl suffer because of his actions
3. She is ok if he doesnt listen to what she says. But she still wants him to hear her out and may be debate in civilized manner and take logical decisions that they don't not repent later
4. She wants to put some optimism in him
5.i dont think sharing problems is a problem here. But taking decisions is. The dixit family members including dev just keep sona out of key decisions and just announce them to her what they have decided to her.
6. If u take this jhoola scene i am sure ishwari and gkb would give sona earful for not taking ishwaris approval before redesigning dev and sona s room.
7. Not sharing the locker keys where sona keeps her jewelry is another incident where she is treated as outsider
8. Even vickys incident, if dev had shared what ishwari was thinking and the conv dev had with her- i am sure sona would have come up with a better solution which would have pleased all the parties involved and something that would have been less risky and is better for vickys future too
9. Nehas issue - same thing .. Sona has this persuasive capabilities and she could have easily made both ranveer and neha understand where they are going wrong. She couldhave helped them and given their relationship a second chance - if only she had the support of dev and ishwari.. Nowall dev and ishwari are doing is ruining nehas life .. Yes they will get her divorce and thenshe would be sulking looking at dev and sona all the time.. Then may be they will gether married to a rich guy .. Now this time neha would miss ranveers love then what?? What if that rich guy is not a good person?? Or some other problems. Getting two ppl divorced with out even sitting together are talking out the problems is just stupidity.
Yes ranveer did not come when neha was not picking up the call... This is not same as dev sona.. They did not fight . Sona did not insult dev and his family before leaving the house.
Ranveers bhabhi said about bitter words- so neha must have said many bitter words before leavingthe house. [BR
Also when ever dev calls ranveer "woh aadmi" .. Sona cringes as dev and his family doesnt consider ranveer family... Sona finds herself in the same situation and is fighting for both hers and ranveers rights in this family

What i dont support sona for is that she has not shared about saurabhs issue and also about her joint venture.
