I think this is the second time when i am unable to understand "dont take me for granted " episode .I was re watching the episodes and still i was unable to understand what is the real problem here .Its a genuine question and maybe this discussion will help to see things in a different light
Dev doesn't share his problems with wife :
We have seen how Dev has been sharing his problems with Sonakshi even before the confession .She was the only one with whom he was comfortable sharing his inner thoughts .In fact during confession he could have taken her to a exotic place and proposed her but we saw how he choose to share his previous life with her and this is something he would not have shared with anyone apart from his family .
Coming to Neha's issue we have seen him talking to her about this issue. During the coffee date scene , scene where he was tensed about Ranveer not picking his call , morning scene where he shared with her how he feels Ranveer is no more interested to make this relation work etc .So the question of not sharing doesn't come here but he definitely asked her to stay out of it .
There may be many reasons for him for asking her to stay out of this .One reason maybe that he wants to protect her , we have seen how Ishwari and Neha are not happy with her interference .We have seen how RR has been using this opportunity to put Sonaksi down and how her earlier attempts to resolve the issue has backfired .When there is already a bigger issue at home he doesn't want more problems where he has to become the mediator every time and protect her from people's taunts(read Neha , RR and Ishwari) .
Second reason could be that she is unable to understand his POV either and maybe he is not motivated enough to share with someone who is not on the same page .It happens to me where i dont feel like talking to someone about my issue if he/she keeps disagreeing with me every time.Somewhere we expect the person to see situation from our angle as well.I dont know whose approach to resolve the problem is right , time will only tell but Dev is not completely wrong either .Ranveer hasn't shown much interest in reconciling with Neha .If Neha was not picking his call he could have visited Dixit house or could have talk to one of the family members.I can still understand this as Ego problem and is not ready to make the first move but harassment case was the last nail in the coffin .An educated man who is in love with his wife will not file a false case against his wife to get back at her .
So what could be the real problem here ?Maybe not considering her decisions regarding divorce case might be effecting Sonakshi but if she really wants her opinion to be considered then she should be convincing Neha not Dev.If Neha issue is effecting her relationship with Dev then she needs to openly discuss with him and they have to work together to find a solution . Trying to quickly resolve Neha's issue will not help , it will only lead to more misunderstandings .
I have always found that Sonakshi is very poor in communicating her issues .She needs to be more open about her expectations and instead of trying to be the "giver" she should let Dev take that role as well.She cannot solve all the problems in their relationship .Maybe this leads to frustration and time and again we have seen her outburst .
Lastly i would like to add that she is also hiding things from her husband and is not involving him in her life .Hiding Saurabh issue and about her business venture is not acceptable .
