Omg I'm grateful about daylight savings too 😆 Reading the updates made me walk around work for the remainder of the day with a grin on my face 😆 And then when I see your post, it makes me even the more happier 😃 As usual, I couldn't agree more with your words!
While Friday I was a bit upset with the precap, I think the weekend cooled me down (courtesy the segments). Hence when Dev was shouting at Sona and harshly told her that he can make decisions on his own for his family, I was all smiles because he was going to regret every word of it.
But I liked Neha's maturity here. I think she overheard what Sona was telling Dev about it's not right to steal someone's food like that, and hence that what influenced her to tell Dev to give Ranveer his job back (though she may not accept it). I really wanted Dev to realize that as well because that's what irked me about him taking Ranveer's job away. But in a way I'm glad that Neha was more understanding of that simply because she's seen the negative side of Dev's success where she sacrificed and suffered the most. It felt totally in character for her to react that way 👏
As for the dinner table scene conversation between Neha and Sonakshi, I felt Neha was trying to make her self feel important, that somehow her words still matter regardless. It was more of her making herself feel acknowledged than taking a jibe at Sonakshi. And I adore the way Sona handled the situation. Her question was correct -- why would she feel jealous if Neha made her brother understand the situation. Plus, I liked how Sona was protective about her relationship with Dev here and didn't want to blow it into a big issue in front of other family members 👏 Icing on top was the way she turned the tables on Neha, acknowledging that she still cares about Ranveer 😆
The Bose family always make me smile. I love the way Saurabh and Elena were rushing to the door to meet Sonakshi. The Bong trio are so adorable when together 😳Like you said, it was a nice change from the Dixits and it was lovely to see Sona being pampered by everyone there. 😳 Plus it was a beautiful contrast to Nikki and Dev sulking at the Dixit house 😆
Dev's anger disappeared by the time he got home, and his resltessness in wondering where Sona is was super fun to watch. I was thinking that he deserves this and more. He wants to manao his biwi, but too bad it'll take a lot more work than that this time. His reaction to Sona's note though had me laughing 😆 (On a side note, I like how he refers to Sona as "meri biwi". It had the DevAkshi fangirl in me blushing 😆). Sona cutting his call and refusing to talk to him got to him, and the next thing you know, he's running off to get his wife back home. The incredulous look he gave Ishwari when she said she sent Sona off to her house was priceless. 🤣
All in all, this was another beautiful episode. It started off on such a serious note with the fight, but by the end of it I was all smiles.
