There is a famous quote on men and women in professional world.

If you want to get a job done, hire a man.

But if you want to get a job done RIGHT, hire a woman.

May I say after today's episode, hence proved?

The jhol Dev did yesterday, had he sent Sona, by now Ranveer would have been meeting Neha already to talk.

Issiko kehte hai, jiska kaam usiko saaje. Dev babu, you concentrate on business. Yeh diplomacy tumse na ho payega.

Dev and Ishwari were bragging for last few days how they understand Neha better than anyone else.

Today Sona proved that no one knows Neha better than her.

A few dialogues today were the highlights of today's episode.

Dev to Sona: It seems Ranveer can't even see Neha in front of his ego.

Me: Oh really? And you can see your wife, darling? Can you see that you have a treasure trove of diplomacy sitting right there while you and your mother is screwing up Neha's life?

Mamaji to Sona: Husband and wife have equal relations. They both carry the weight of the family on their shoulders together and if they fall weak, then the family comes in to share the burden.

Me: Aaye haaye, Mamaji. I wish you had given this lecture to your nephew and niece. Sona already came into your home with full knowledge. But your nephew and niece can't seem to remember that the world doesn't revolve around them... Shocking, I know.

Ranveer's Bhabi to Sona: Why don't you talk about this to Neha and your family?

Me: Bhabi, Sona would have said a lot of things but the effect would be playing flutes in front of a grade A bull. She will get shit for sure, but not sense.

Precap:

Ishwari to Sona: I know my daughter. You don't know her. Our home is not like others.

Me: Nehin nehin Maataji, aapka ghar, ghar kahan hai? Wo to chiriya ghar hain jisse aap mandir bulati hain.

Aur agar aap aapki beti ko nehin janengi to kaun janega? After all, jabse woh aayee hai, aapne ek saath kitna time spend kiya hai. Baatein to aap dono ki khatam hi nehin hoti, by God.

P.S. Extremely happy to see Sona back at work.

P.P.S. Today Sona and Neha's scene was excellently done. Bhabhi ho to aisi...

Dev also remembers how hopeless he was feeling when he got separated from Sona... he says he used to think about her all the time and used to follow her to just get a glimpse... He says he doesnt see that feeling from Ranveer's side... what is your take on that tia ??

Sorry I forgot that one. Thanks for reminding me.

Dev remembers how he felt when he broke up with Sona. But did he ask what everyone saw? They saw a man who is snuggling up to his mother, going to work every day and coming home to eat his mother's cooking.

The same way, Dev is seeing Neha is living her life and absolutely fine without Ranveer.

But only Sona saw Dev's restlessness then, just like she saw Neha's pain now.

No one can say looking from outside what people are feeling on the inside. Ranveer and Dev are very similar in that sense.

Unlike Sona and Neha who kept crying in private, Ranveer and Dev, both are responsible for their family or that's how they feel.

So Ranveer is behaving just like Dev. As Dev said during break up, "Main mar bhi nehin sakta kyunki mujh pe kai jimmedariyan hai."

Unfortunately the understanding Dev expected from Sona, he is not giving it to Ranveer.

Well the most funny thing about dixits are nobody really knows anybody in the house. Everybody is in a delusion regarding each others behaviours.

Ishwari don't even know herself forget her children

Dev is a layman when it comes to relationships

Neha now only cares about herself after her dreadful past

Mamaji knows quite a bit but has selective open views about it

Mamiji is self centered

Riya and Nikki are totally ignored and they ignore others

But all of them claim they know each other the best, most delusional being ishwari.

Sona is the only light of hope for them but this will create more insecurity for ishwari.

This scenario reminds me of dil dhadhakne do movie where ranveer Singh claims that koi bhi asli baat karta hi nahi sab idhar udhar ki karte hai. Main muddhe pe koi aata hi nahi.

Same situation is with dixits, they dodge the valid question and keep maintaining this mirage

Sorry I know this question is not for me, but in my POv to put in simple words Dev's only real happiness is Sona , but that's not the case with Ranbir . In Sona he had to loose her with no fault of hers and he knows he is guilty and ranbir , Neha issues are so different .,she kind of insults his status byou not accepting it ..so the reactions are supposed to differ .

Ha ha... That was very apt example from Dil Dhadakne Do. Both are pretentious and rich family.

Ishwari is Maha delusional. She can convince herself absolutely anything. She does not even need logic.

Like you said, she doesn't know herself let alone her children.

Yes thats what i believe.. Ranveer's situation is like how Sona's situation was.. yes heartbreaking but not obsessive like she has to see Dev everyday... She had other means to get the love . Also in Ranveer-Neha case both of them are at fault - ranveer not including neha in decision making and Neha guilty of trying to separate him from his family.

Where as Dev , Sona was his life line and He is the guilty one as well . so He completely broke down and could not handle it longer.

I would never expect Ranveer being a sensible person like sona to ever do anything near how Dev broke up and how he behaved afterwards - stalking etc.

You have a point. But the problem with love is that it does not disappear even if the blame lies on opposite side. Ranveer is angry and justifiably so. Just like Sona was angry. But that still didn't stop Sona from loving Dev nor it will stop Ranveer. The problem here is that Dev is here behaving like Ishwari.

He is assuming from looking from outside what the situation is on the inside.

He is also assuming that since Ranveer rejected his very insulting offer, he is also rejecting Neha.

Both are wrong assumptions.

Dixits love their image or the facade because then they don't have to face their failures as a family. They talk but doesn't listen, they hear but doesn't understand, they see but ignore everything that questions them. Any problems come they instead of facing it head on as a family they try to get rid of the problem without breaking their perfect image. None of them wants to make their hands dirty. They want to swim without getting wet. 😆

Dixits should feel lucky that they got someone like sona who in truly real sense is GOLD. If only they realise this and value her. It will be interesting to know what will be reaction of both ishwari dev because right now sona is sticking up with her own POV rather than listening to these Self obsessed persons who told her to stay away . so glad to see sona getting back to her work.👏 how I wish to see dev to deal with problems with same level of maturity.
