Hypocrisy, thy name is Dixit. Why, you ask? Let me explain.
On one hand, Ishwari tells Sonakshi that it's very important for a bahu to adjust in the new house, with new family members and the new environment.
On the other hand, she gives no such advice to her daughter who has been sitting idle in her house from the past 10 days. She doesn't even tell her to call her husband and in-laws, to try and adjust. No. In fact, when Neha was crying, Ishwari asked her if Ranveer called and (probably) made her cry. Hypocrisy!

On one hand, Neha falls in love, decides she wants to marry Ranveer, knowing that she'll have to live without the luxuries that her brother used to provide her. She says she wants happiness, nothing else.
On the other hand, Neha misses those luxuries, suddenly love is not enough and she leaves her 'love' to go back to the past lifestyle and when someone points that out, she's offended. Hypocrisy!

On one hand, Dev claims to love Sonakshi the most. He apparently 'died a thousand deaths' when she left him.
On the other hand, when he's married to her, he tells at her whenever he feels like, he makes love to her whenever he feels like, he takes decisions for her whenever and however he wants and he doesn't even think about her happiness. Hypocrisy!

On one hand, Sona is a strong, independent woman who can fight her battles alone and would never compromise with her self respect.
On the other hand, she's being treated like a doormat ever since she entered the Dixit Madhouse but she doesn't have any problem with that. In fact she agrees with everything that Dev does or Maa does or Mami does. Hypocrisy!

Apparently all these characters love each other. So is this love? If this is love then I hope I never fall in love.

P.S.- Neha's behaviour in the precap was totally unacceptable -_-

LOL Doctor I am glad you included Sona to the list now 😆 Tell me about her being doormat thing.
In Bigg Boss some season there were this Armaan-Tanisha couple many times when Sona let go of her rights and bends down (ever since breakup😆), she reminds me of Tanisha 🤡

No, love is not taking the person you love for granted. If anyone tries to sell whatever this is in the name of love, don't buy it.
Marriage doesn't change the brain cell, distort decision making capabilities or alter personalities.

Marriage is when two people mutually decide that they are happier together than apart.

The key word here is happiness.

If a marriage is making you unhappy, what's the point even staying together?

I am not even discussing anything regarding Ishwari because she is either mentally ill or pure evil. She can't be anything else.

After manipulating Dev into changing their honeymoon plans, she tried to fake-convince him to go so that she can claim later that she didn't made Dev do anything. He took the decision on his own.

Dev truly takes the cake. He takes decisions alone, expects Sona to fall into the pit he dug, then he feels guilty, so he shows Sona attitude even though she was the injured party, then Sona forgives him, he uses romance and/or flattery as a reward, then he repeats the cycle again in some other situation on some other issue.

He has now almost become a pattern who always behaves the same way in Ishwari's tune.

When two people start living together, the person(s) change a bit, for better or for worse. Here Sona has taken a turn for worse. Throwing away her self-respect here and there, agreeing to everything Dev or Ishwari says or does. Where's her personality in all this, gone for a toss. Yes, she is a dixit now, controlled by Master Ishwari. Sona's control button with Dev and Dev's control button with Ishwari.

The only characters are Vicky, GKB, Bijoy's mom, Asha, Bijoy, Elena, Saurabh who are still true to their selves.
Ishwari, Dev, Sonakshi, Nikki, Rhea and Mamaji all fluctuate alot. Mamaji opens his mouth late. The sisters are just props.

@Doctor: I find your hypocrisy argument very convincing. In fact in real life everyone is a hypocrite to some extant when it comes to dealing with loved ones and others. Ish thinks that devakshi going for HM will hurt Neha as Neha could not have her HM.
With the same logic , would sona feel good on cencellation of her HM - Apni Beti kee feelings hai - aur deoosre kee beti kee koi feelings nahin????
