she lived in the ugly past even though when she had all luxuries around .she did not enjoy what she had .she was constantly looked for affection ,care and love someone can feel for her.she wanted to be loved in her rudest version .. And ranbir did that for her.
She got married and her past of being around luxuries and comfortable life did not leave her.she could not cherish the love her husband and in laws gave to her.she constantly looked for all comforts what she got after years of sacrifices thus ignoring what ranbir and family was giving to her in present.
She sees devAkshi and get jealous and feel she did not get anything ever.she did not see their journey ..she can not see their suffering and struggles .what they went through.because neha feels no one can sacrifice how much she has done in life.it happens when you can never. Look past your own world..as we say grass is always greener on other side.and not to forget she is ishwari daughter.
Ishwari-
She is bound with her past because that binds dev with her .if she leaves that ..her importance,her position of being GOD even her existence is gone according to her.she will try her best to hold on that past..that's where she rules..that's where she has control that's where she got what she wanted on her own terms.
She can see Dev is going far from that past as his present and future that's sona ...holding him and trying to walk with him road ahead..that moment ishwari pulls him and push him in past.because no sona is there,no threat is there.and she has control over situations,emotions and actions.
The more dev wants to come out of it,more she pulls him into this.she reminds him how he was given what his sister's had right over.he is reminded how they could come out of all this just because he followed what his mother asked him to.so that means what she says mmits the most right thing to do.as when they can survive that ugly past in leadership of mommy...that mean she is best decision maker thus we see dev never questioning her decision .
Ishwari existence is solely based on past because what where she gets differentiated form other normal mothers as she went through so many hardships yet came out as winner that's why her family worships her.she finds solace there and her solace comes from Dev as she got everything done to make the life better because Dev was there to do.
She gets scared what if she let go dev and he survives? ..it's a reality hit to his existence and achievement of life what she has been feeling all along.what if he takes decision and it proves better?..then it means he does need her guidance in his life.what if he spends time with someone else and she gets to know him better thus ruining her chance of being home to dev.
It's not only love for Dev ,it's not insecurity of her.its bigger than that.she is human and no matter what emotions says or morals expect you to do.when your existence is at stake..you do anything to save that.she is human.. super super super super flawed human .for a human basic instinct is to save it's existence..
She is neither a good mother and not even to any of her child..she is one hell cold woman .pain of her children won't shake her .she saw dev suffering but she did not move the moment she saw her image crumbling down she immediately took decision for bringing sona into his life .it was never for Dev..it was for her
She was always a biased mother for neha..and she was not much bothered about this fact too.but the moment neha came running to her about getting married to ranbir she immediately gave her what she was crying for thus making her all biasedness go in one chance and making neha happy and earning that truth in herself of being godly mother.
She can not think of any child because she actually trapped in her own self..she can not see,feel or think about anything else.she genuinly needs help.
She is trapped herself in dark past
A past that has left her years ago but she is still clinging on it
She has not any sensibilities and senstivity left to think about where her kids happiness lies in.she is just concerned if it does not lie with her..it's not worth it.mits a threat to her.in dev's case it's the truth for her
A bitter truth..
Neha,nikki,riya ,mamaji Mami Vikki have never been her priority of point of worry never they will be ever.they are just threads what binds dev to his past so like puppet dev is controlled through different threads and controller is ish.she uses different thread as per situation and dev dances on tunes.thats her living ..that's her food for her existence.
Dev-
I feel just sorry sorry sorry for him
This man wants to get rid of that past and unfortunately he is not able to come out of it.he worked hard all his childhood..teens and adult life just to make sure she comes out of it and brings whole family out od that dark life where nothing part deom sufferings they got.
He never ever wants to even then away.but look at the plight or that man .he gets subjected to exhibition of each pain,suffering g,sacarifice,struggle regularly reminding him may be he has not done enough becaue till now even after doing so neither he nor his family have come out of all this thus making him again working on same lines..repeat the cycle...follow mommy...forget about yourself..and give in your happiness..
I feel pain in my heart whenever he goes in guilt..it churns my heart.all I wish for him that day comes when he does not feel guilty to think about himself and he genuinely feel that he has done a lot for family if nothing more.he has his personal life and he has every right to live that.and moreover his past can not control him now.
Sona -
You are the only hope what present and future holds for this family..no mattee how much I try not to bother about this dixit family but I know the man you love is bound with family .
You are the only light what can show the right path to all so they can come out of dark and walk ahead in life.
You are the only one who can give your hand to them as you live in present and you are not frightened of the dark they faced.you are the only one who can make them see what they refuse to see..that is..past is no more and they are trapped in their own illusions ...nothing is ugly now except their fears of getting aloof and disappear in that dark.
