Present:
Dr.Sonakshi Bose is an oncologist. She works in a hospital in Mumbai.. There Dev Dixit and his mom came to consult a doctor.
Past:
Sona was dev sister's friend and they fell in love with each other.. But Sonakshi and Dev were separated four years back..To know more read the remaining chapters...
When Dev and Ishwari heard Ishwari's name, they moved towards doctor's cabin.
Sona was busy in checking the details of her new patient's health condition, suddenly she noticed her patient's name...'ISHWARI DIXIT'... But it was too late, before deciding anything she heard the click of her cabin's door... She was not at all prepared.. But she has to be strong.. She is not going to let her past to effect her present. She is the doctor and Ishwari Dixit is her patient..Nothing more, nothing less..
Ishwari's case was also not different.. She met Sona after long four years. A smile started to form on her face and she had an urge to hug her.. She moved forward to hug Sona, a girl with golden heart whom she loved like her own daughter. But Sona's next words stopped her..
"Take your seat Mrs. Dixit"
For a moment Ishwari halted on the spot. The girl, once she called her aunty ji is addressing her as Mrs. Dixit. But she can't blame her..She is the soul reason for everything ,so she can't expect anything from her. Ishwari and Dev took their seat and Sona engrossed in the file.. Once she checked the reports, she got big relief.. Ishwari was in curing stage...
Dev never expected Sona will treat his mom.. He didn't had the courage to talk with her...So he listened her words without saying anything...
Sona discussed Ishwari's health details with them. After hearing Sona's words Dev got big relief..
Atlast Sona said
"Mrs.Dixit...No need to worry..You will be completely fine...I prescribed you some medicines and please come after two weeks. Now you can take your leave. "
After that Sona turned to take something from Almirah..Actually she wanted to avoid any conversation with Dev and Ishwari..
Ishwari wanted to talk with her , not as her doctor. When she was going to tell something to Sona, they heard clicking sound of door followed by a man's voice...
"Sona..., Mai aagayee"
That man didn't notice Dev and Ishwari, directly landed infront of Sona and hugged her tightly.
"I missed you Sona...I know you also missed me..."
"Haan Rittu, I missed you too..but now you are back, I'm soo happy"
Ritwick was really surprised to hear she missed him. Actually he know she missed him when he was not around , but she never admitted it infront of him.
Ishwari and Dev was still in her room.. Dev's jealousy hit him when he saw Ritwick hugging Sona. He fisted his palm out of his anger. Sona was facing Dev, so she saw his expressions and how much jealous he was.
"Woh Rittu..This is my new patient Mrs.Ishwari Dixit and her son Mr.Dixit"
When he heard that he turned to them..
"I'm so sorry , I didn't notice you out my excitement. Meeting Sona after long one week made me forget my surroundings.. Moreover this is her free time, So I thought she will be free now.. So sorry"
"Areh Rittu, Our section is over. They were starting to leave... Oh Sorry!! I forget to introduce him.. This is Ritwick Sen Gupta, my fiance..."
Ritwick looked Sona for a moment..She blinked to him. Ritwick got shock after shock.. But he didn't express it on his face.
"Yeah..I'm Ritwick Sen Gupta.Neurologist of this hospital... Nice to meet You MR.."
Ritwick forwarded his hand towards Dev..
"Dev...Dev dixit"
Dev shook his hand with Ritwick.
Dev excused from there and Ishwari followed him. When they were out of sight Ritwick closed their room and turned towards Sona...
"I need explanation" Ritwick firmly stated her.
"What..what are you talk..talking Rittu" She stammered..
"I need explanation on what happened few minutes ago..You introduce me as your fiance..How my sister can introduce me as her fiance.. I know something is wrong.. Why did you do that Sona...why?? "
"I wanted sadistic pleasure Rittu..I wanted it... I wanted to show him that I was not at all affected.. I wanted to show him that he is my past, he has no right on my future..I'm living a happy life without him where he has no place.. I wanted to show him that he couldn't broke me where I 'm completely broken inside.. I wanted to prove infront of him that Dev Dixit can't control Sonakshi Bose's life"
by saying this she slummed on the nearby sofa..By next second Ritwick was near to her and consoled her. She clutched on his shirt and started to cry her heart out. She was holding her tears last four years, but now she can't take any control over it... He let her to cry without uttering a single word..
He was not aware she was this much broken inside. He knew she had a past, but he never pressurised her to tell her story to him. Once she told him that she had a lost love, she had no problem with sharing it with him, but she feared it will broke her again and told it to Ritwick. He understood her situation and didn't compel her to share with him. Deep down he hated that person who was the reason behind her sadness.
Dev Dixit completely broke after seeing Sona in Ritwick's arms. He never thought Sona will move forward. How can he think that, she has all the rights to move forward. He is the main reason why they broke up and how can he think that she will wait for him, that too when he himself told her that he is going to marry other girl. Immersed in thoughts he walked and suddenly bumped to a lady... NATASHA, Natasha Gujral...How can he forget that face..
"Dev, Tum yahan...sab teek hena..."
"Woh actually, Mom ki tabiyath teek nahi thi...So.."
"Oh God! What happened to Aunty ji...How is she now??"
"Nothing to worry..She is okay now"
Dev didn't wanted to share Ishwari's health details with others.
"Thank God! , I'm so happy to see you here Dev... Meeting you after four years is such a pleasant surprise..."
"Same here Natasha...By the way what are you doing here"
"Seriously Dev?! You are asking this question to a doctor...okay bathathi hun...m a gynacologist and haan, my hubby is also working here...Let's have coffee..I will call him too.."
Suddenly Natasha's phone started to ring and she attended it..
"I'm really Sorry Dev, some emergency came. Gotta go..meet you some other time..please give me your number"
Both of them exchanged their numbers and Natasha rushed towards labour room and Dev to his memory lane.
After completing her works Natasha moved towards Sona's cabin , where a cute scene welcomed. Sona and Ritwick were sleeping by Sona placing her head on Ritwick's shoulder. She always adored their bond. Sona is not only a wonderful sister but also a wonderful sister in law. Natasha considered herself as very lucky to have them in her life. She didn't disturb them and waited them to wake up. But she noticed the stains of tears on Sona's face, it made her restless.
Soon Sona and Ritwick woke up , Sona surprised to see Natasha.
She ran to her and hugged her.
"I missed you bhabhi..."
Natasha knew something is wrong with her. Usually she call her Naat but when she is not in her usual self she call her bhabhi.
Natasha patted her by looking Ritwick with her questioning eyes. He assured her.
After sometime Sona told them that she want to talk with them and they planned to go to their favourite cafeteria.
Sona determined to share her past with them. She never shared her pain with anyone. She thought she was healing, but Dev's presence made that wound refresh.
Sona started to share her past with them. Ritwick and Natasha sat either side of Sona as a pillar of support. She told them how they became friends and each others everything. Both of them were aware about their feelings but none of them was ready to confess. But one day Dev confessed his feelings to Sona. She was on cloud nine at that day. She wished for her fairy tale love story. God heard her prayers and gifted Dev as her prince charming. She too confessed her feelings to him. That was just a beginning of their love story. There started a beautiful journey of them. Sona always teased about how he will propose her. Dev always said her that he will give world's best proposal to her. And she knew that he will give best to her.
