Did ishwari leave all the luxuries because Neha lacks them?

I did not understand the idea of bashing Dev for his HM plans. Ishwari said that it would make Neha feel bad because she could not go on HM with her husband. Neha made the choice to marry Ranveer herself knowing completely well about his financial condition and decided to leave him not because any one was troubling her in her sasural but because she could not live without the luxuries. Now, if Devakshi can't go on HM because it will make Neha feeel bad then Ishwari should also leave all luxruies because Neha does not have them at her in laws right!

if I was in Dev or Sona's place .. then I would not have planned honeymoon at this time.. going on HM is not wrong but the timing is definitely wrong. I know everyone has a right to live their lives the way they want and when they want. But unfortunately or fortunately we live in a society and we have family beyond husband-wife relationship.. So it would be insensitive to go on HM let alone plan a HM when your sister is sitting at home and is on verge of break up with her husband...mainly due to the reasons that he cant afford a luxurious lifestyle that she wanted..

we can not just ignore the feelings of ppl that are close to us and go on and live our life the way we want...

trust me I am not saying Ishwari is right in taking Dev on a guilt trip. She is just using Neha's situation as a bait.. we all know Ishwari is all about I,ME, MYSELF

But i expected sona and Dev to be different and show some sensitivity before getting sucked into their own small world... after all we live in a family and a society... we can not say i will go have sex in public and i dont care what everyone thinks because I will do what i want to do and when i want to do it... this is a very extreme example i am giving... but you get the idea...

Ishwari, a master manipulator is just using Neha - victim card to make Dev feel guilty. If Neha wants to go HM with her husband I am sure Dev is more than happy to pay for their expenses, but the girl don't want to go back to her husband, then how is Dev at fault.

Its not about Ishwari leaving her happiness but making Dev leave his happiness (which she thinks does not exist without her being part of it), not for Neha but for her. I was literally thinking does she expects Dev to take her on his honeymoon trip instead of Sona when she was having flashbacks, you know like when kid Dev said next time he will take her with him on every trip he goes.
Ishwari achieves what she wants to by hook or crook, just waiting to see when this never ending cycle would break and we are sure it will break.

Copying my reply from another post because I am lazy.

Empty nest syndrome is painful. More so for a single parent. But usually empty nest syndrome affects two ways. 1. When the nest is completely empty as in all chicks has flown the nest and 2. When the chicks are going for extended period like going to university for four years or moved out to be independent.

Neither of those situation apply to Ishwari. If anything the chick that flew out, she came back again, making the numbers back to what it was after she got married.

In fact the way Ishwari is behaving as if Dev and Sona dumped her at old age home alone while they are moving away. She is in her home with her brother's family and all of her daughters while Dev and Sona going away for 15 days only. That's only two weeks. If she still feels empty nest syndrome then the rest of the family can drop dead and she won't care beyond a few tears as long as Dev is there.

Her daughters including Neha have the same past as Dev and her, why didn't she do anything for Neha when she came back. If she had time to manipulate Dev and get Vicky a job, she had time to fix Neha's marriage.

That makes her concern for Neha completely false. She was just a convenient excuse. How many times she has called Ranveer to get the full story? She calls Dev every single day.

Forget Ranveer, when Dev was in her room today, she never even mentioned for him to take steps to help Neha get back to her husband. She was just basking in his attention.

But suddenly her sleeping concern woke up when she herself got jealous of Dev and Sona's honeymoon plans. Sorry, that is not in my opinion, empty nest syndrome or motherly concern. That's plain old green eyed monster.

seriously.. its not their job. and yes, you are comparing apples and oranges. ishwari should be working on this not Devakshi. and you forget.. ishari hass made it clear sona should mind her own business. so she is doing it now!
