Two ways

Readers of this Forum would know that since I have become active, I have been more or less angry with the show, for multiple reasons - characterizations and their assassinations, claim to closeness to reality, my expectations because of the promos and initial episodes, typical Saas-bahu or not, and many more such discussions...😉

Leaving all of that behind, based on just the episodes after the grand union - Devakshi marriage, I wanna know how the story would progress on major themes - In my mind there can be two ways - the dramatic way or the claim to reality way.😆😆

The claim to reality way -

since reality seems to be filled with a lot of negativity and lies on all sides, I feel the process of growth would be really slow or there might be no growth at all, since in reality there are many families where things remain status-quo, as the bahu adjusts, mnay husbands don't even understand that there wife is going through such pains, yes even in love marriages, simply either because of their past or their immense blinding love their family which renders them incapable of objectivity. If the slow growth is possible - which is reality of many families, after a lot of small incidents as are being shown, Sona will realize after going through a lot of pain, tear trips and compromise galore, that Ishu maa is extremely possessive to the point of being jealous of her. She will then tell Dev ji, who will not agree with her and they will fight, some storming out and neglecting each other, and calling each other egoist will ensue, Sona might be called outsider too. Then slowly slowly one after another truths sitting in closets will start coming out - the infertility report, the pre-nup etc. and Each character Dev-Ishu and Sona will get a chance to play perpetrator or victim - we viewers can keep scores (of course we are biased, so we will give justification for our favorite character or favorite line of thought - disclaimer, not all are biased)
Finally after all these ping pong bowling of anger fits and I am the victim playacting by various characters (mind you some are victims of past too, so they are more victim than others - others are simply becoming victim of present because some are victim of past ---- ok ok sry, can't put aside the grey humor😆).

Finally there will a crack in Dev's understanding of his God, so then finally he might sit with his wife and TALK😳😳 on the right issues,(PHEWWW Finally) (mind you, he does talk on normal issues).😳😳 But then what do they really do about Ishu, Now they can't just be one team and put Ishu maa in other, that would be asanskari, and will actually bring bad taste in even my mouth🤢🤢. So Dev will start dedicating more defined times to his mother, cater for everything she feels she should get, but in a more direct manner. Dev will start noticing little manipulations of his mother, and would realize the level of insecurity of his mother. Both Dev and Sona will do many things together to make Ishu feel that she not going to loose her position at all and Dev will fulfill all his responsibilities, but at night, he would start talking to his wife on some important issues 😳

Meanwhile they might end up having SR and the infertility report would be proven wrong. Sonakshi will becomes pregnant, there will be happiness around. But she will miscarry, and Here Ishu will support her, physically, emotionally and all-ally😳...from heart without a selfish interest😳😳😳

The dramatic way -

All the truths hidden in closets will remain hidden hidden for some more time. Sona will go through many more painful incidents and Dev would still not understand. They would keep on having some romantic moments, all the while brushing everything under the rug, never discussing important things. both would keep on getting wounds that didn't heal, more so Sona because she is alone and trying her best also. Then after many such dramatic events, all truths from closet will start coming out and falling like dominoes, more and more pain would ensue with each truth, pre-nup being the last one of them. this will fully break Sona's trust in Dev and the Dixit family, Dev's trust will be broken in his mother. There will be too much pain for Sona so she will leave. Dev will be again left in pain, but this time having his God to blame to. His behavior will change, and Ishu would slowly slowly start realizing her follies. But It would be Dev who would go after Sona this time, Signing all his property in the name of all Dixit family members because that is what Ishu wanted to protect. This would make Ishu realize that they are strong only if everyone is happy together, and how important Sona is for happiness of her son. And so a dramatic story where Dev brings her home again, and Ishu tries to earn their love by her good deeds would be the course 😳
