Yup it was a tantrum i agee...

Sona did the same thing on Day 1 - yes she is upset and all and no need to push him away like some cockroach... yes she could have said yes i an upset and lets not get too close today... but they still could have hugged and slept on each side of the bed...

I wouldn't say Dev abandoned her today.. he just wanted some time and space just like Sona needed it on their first night. Most importantly Dev knows that Sona herself is more than enough to handle any issues.

It is all about how you let the mood affect the relationship... i am sure they will learn...
I think this shows CVs have progressive mind - i am sure they will show incidents which will show gender equality...

I would agree that they were partial if they had shown that both sona and Dev had to go to work and somehow everyone stopped sona from going and Dev went to office anyway.

You wouldn't. But what do you think all the Cs will have to say? And what do you think B would reply to that when B has no idea why A left suddenly? A didn't tell B that A has to leave for urgent work. A just left in a huff like a petulant child who didn't have his way.

Besides, how does urgent work crop up conveniently right after Dev gets upset? Where was urgent work until then? It was a temper tantrum, period.

Asking someone to leave everything behind is a big deal which our society trivialises. That comes with responsibilities.

Regardless how often you have visited before, the situation is never the same. Because when you visit, you can leave when you don't like how you are treated. The situation after the marriage is a lot different.

I won't blame Sona if after all this, she just refuses to live with Dev's family.

Yes, Dev was upset and no, I don't expect him to hug Sona just like I didn't expect Sona to hug Dev when she was upset with him. She did not kick him out of the room nor left for her home. I expected Dev to do the same holding them on same standard.

He needed space and time because his in-laws did not take his majorly expensive gift which they very politely returned (not insulted left, right and centre like Sona had to tolerate)? But still, for that trivial reason, you need to have space and time? Have it in your own room like Sona did.

But no, CVs can't show Sona leaving for work without every audience heaping insults on Sona's head for doing the same thing every one is being understanding to Dev. Which is the textbook definition of gender inequality.

See this entire situation can be explained very simply if one is open minded enough - Reason is Dev is very innocent and clear of heart. He also has no reason to believe that his mother can even think of hurting someone or playing underhanded games. 😭
So to sum up:

1. He doesn't feel that he is leaving Sonakshi on a mine field. 😡

2. In his opinion he left her in a very loving atmosphere.

3. He also feels that Sonakshi is perfectly capable of handling the phuski bomb called gkb as no one really respects her not even her own husband 👍🏼

4.Dadi Bua is only a short term inconvenience. 😎

Now please no one ask me idiotic and irrelevant questions like🤪:

1. How does a guy who runs a big business is completely incapable of judging /assessing the true nature of his own mother. 🤬🤡🐷

2. How does this guy who runs a big corporate doesn't realise that even in companies a new entrant is given placement and orientation programme to make them feel at home in a new environment.

3. A businessman is known for his acute perception and grasp of situations. Does this guy become deaf, dumb and blind at home. 😲🤪

4 Maybe mummy told him to lock everything precious in office safe before coming home and so he locks his brain therein. 🤡🤪

5. When this guy can easily see that no one really respects mamiji since her husband openly ridicules her, the same will apply to his wife if her husband does nothing to protect her. 🤢

Sometimes errors of omission are as wrong and grievous as errors of commission. 🤢

Dev escaping the first day to office is the benefit of social construct men have always enjoyed since time immortal. But it's another sad reality that KRPKAB continues to portray.

it is all about their perspectives ... No one insulted Dev and Dev knows it too.. Dev in all his honesty only tried to give his BIL a gift... (we all know how his gifting ideas are)... He was upset that no one understands his point of view... just like he got upset in 100th episode...when he and Sona had a fight... that is Dev's character..

Having said that, both Dev and Sona have to work on their relationship.. it is not like when you are upset you will push the other person away and not even want them to hold your hand or not be in the same room as the other person and Sulk somewhere else...

If they have issues sulk in the same room and apologize and get it done with.. this needs to happen from both sides. one should be willing to forgive the other and understand the real intentions rather than just go by the sequence of events and the pain that the others actions have caused.

What CVs will show - lets wait and watch.. i will comment when they do it.
bottom line- i think we both have our thinking on the same page...

What Dev did was wrong... but i wouldn't call it abandonment or leaving Sona on a mine field. it is much more milder than that.

Wasn't it so easy for Dev to leave Sona to face all the troubles herself? But then again he has to accept that troubles and hurdles exist. He still doesn't.He thinks all is fine in Mommy land even after seeing and hearing everything. Denial ain't just a river in Egypt..
But even if he can't understand that,he should have stayed with Sonakshi. How could he leave her in this whole new place?Working there and living there are two very different things. He should have stayed no matter how upset he was to make sure that she feels comfortable, that she faces no problem, to help her adjust to so many new things.
A girl has left her family where she had absolute freedom ,love, support has agreed to come into a family where she faces restriction and insults at every step only because she placed all her trust in you, believed that she would have your constant support and instead of understanding that he runs off as soon as there is a difference in opinion? He could have stayed in the house if he needed space.Nobody was forcing him to chat.
You didn't mention Ishwari but I have to vent so I am adding that as well. The only reason she was helping Sona today was to ensure that her son's choice is not questioned. The irritated expression which she masked immediately when Sona asked Bua to repeat the last dish was given as if Sona had said something dumb.Even after knowing her thought process,I find it so irritating to watch Ishwari treat Sona as if she has no individuality. How does Sona's cooking skills affect Dev's respect?
So if Dev can't cook then Sona would fail and her honor will be at stake?😡
And Is Ishwari really dumb enough to think that nobody would recognise her cooking?More brownie points to her for helping Sona by the entire family(esp Dev) because she was" oh so sweet"?

I am telling you this has nothing to do with gender equality !!! It was a convenient way of covering up by makers since A has to go to Jammu !!!!
😉😉😉

A would have gone for meeting if there was a fight or not !!!

So to sum up:

1. He doesn't feel that he is leaving Sonakshi on a mine field. 😡 - Of course not. Since the minefield for him is flower garden with Tinkerbell playing flute.

2. In his opinion he left her in a very loving atmosphere. - Of course it is, loving towards him, prison sentence to everyone else.

3. He also feels that Sonakshi is perfectly capable of handling the phuski bomb called gkb as no one really respects her not even her own husband 👍🏼 - Radha is an outsider and always will be. She is not blood relations. Sometimes I wonder, if the reason of her pettiness is her husband's lack of support. Misery always loves company, you know. Happy people don't make others unhappy.

4.Dadi Bua is only a short term inconvenience. 😎 - Great. But even having to swallow bitter pill for a short-term is not a pleasant experience.

Now please no one ask me idiotic and irrelevant questions like🤪:

1. How does a guy who runs a big business is completely incapable of judging /assessing the true nature of his own mother. 🤬🤡🐷 - Because Dev is the perfect Gandhiji's monkey for his mother. He can see everyone's reality but her. Sona is equally gullible until now.

2. How does this guy who runs a big corporate doesn't realise that even in companies a new entrant is given placement and orientation programme to make them feel at home in a new environment. - Are you kidding? If a new employee is treated the way Sona is treated, they will leave and bad mouth the company. Fortunately a wife doesn't have any of the option once the deal is done.

3. A businessman is known for his acute perception and grasp of situations. Does this guy become deaf, dumb and blind at home. 😲🤪 - In a short and sweet response, YES.

4 Maybe mummy told him to lock everything precious in office safe before coming home and so he locks his brain therein. 🤡🤪 - Could be. Who knows?

5. When this guy can easily see that no one really respects mamiji since her husband openly ridicules her, the same will apply to his wife if her husband does nothing to protect her. 🤢 - Nope. Even he knows that Radha has no value in the family beyond her sharp tongue which she uses like a weapon to make people keep their mouth shut. Sometimes I wonder, if she will be as bitter and mean, if she was treated with respect.

Sometimes errors of omission are as wrong and grievous as errors of commission. 🤢 BINGO!!!

Unfortunately, I expected him to stand by his wife. But he deserted the battle field for a much trivial reason and faster than one could blink.

All valid points. The reason I didn't mention Ishwari is the same reason I didn't mention Ishwari yesterday.

You see, a woman's strength in her in-laws lies in her husband the same way a man's strength in his in-laws, lies in his wife. The only difference is that a man is not forced to put up with insults from his in-laws day after day.

Yesterday, Dev was the one who gave Sona strength to stand up against her insults by standing by her side and supporting her. So Ishwari, Dadi bua and the entire society became irrelevant.

Today, he deserted her for whatever reason knowing that she is having difficult time adjusting with his ultra conservative family who is only there to find her flaws. Again, Ishwari, Dadi bua and the whole society became irrelevant.

When the person you love stands by your side, nothing can touch you.

But when the same person leaves you to fend for your own and you have nowhere to go without hurting your own family, that's when the true loneliness hits you.

Ishwari could not hurt Sona today as much as Dev has already hurt her.
