honestly, i do not want her to wear it. too expensive.. in fact the amount is vulgar! not everything is about who gave it, how it was given etc. There are somethings that are just not right. I for one would never splurge my money on a dress.. i would rather donate part of it to a cause. that is my personal belief. i am sure Sona too has strong convictions.

I have a feeling that the CV have something on store for the viewers with regards to the lehenga and bengali saree. Just the way how they showed that beautiful dialogue between neha and sona.
I can't crack it right now, but have an intuition that they will explore a new dimension with these wedding attire.
As of now, I think sonakshi will wear both - bengali saree during jaimala and lehenga during pheras.

Until then, it's wait and watch!

First of all i would like to clarify one thing i dont think sona is being selfish here. Sona and neha's situation are not the same. Its their tradtion to wear lehengas or their wedding. So neha's in laws sent one of their choices which neha didnt like at first but later on agreed to it when sona convinced her. But here it was known from the beginning that the wedding would take place following bengali rituals bijoy made it very clear during the time when ishwari went to him along withother members of the family. So she should have been more sensible before picking that dress for sona to wear for her wedding. Had she given a saree i have no doubt that the bose's would have accepted that. But no she is hell bent on having things work out her own way. She is used to having all her wishes fulfilled so not even for a single time she is ready to adjust with anything. Like dev said its not that only ishwari's son is getting married, asha and bijoy's daughter is also getting married. But ishwari is so blinded by her own sentiments and happinesss that she ends up disrespecting others even if its done unintentionally. Had asha wanted she could have forced dev to wear a dhoti punjabi and a topor instead of a sehra or a sherwani. But they didnt even think of doing so coz thats the difference between the bose family and ishwari. They know how to value others emotions and sentiments unlike ishwari who is too self centred. So no i dont think sona was wrong in making this choice coz ishwari's motive was not just to see sona in that apni way which arose during neha's wedding rather here also she was trying to assert and impose herself without caring a damn about the bose family's sentiments, rituals, feelings. Infact i am glad that sona didnt choose it for her wedding. Somebody had to show ishwari that she cant always have everything her way and its not the price that decides the worth of an attire but the feelings tgat remain associated with it which is what makes it priceless

Bengali ppl don't wear lehengas in wedding. That will create a big issue...Ishwari should have bought a 15 lakhs ka saree. Would have made things easier I guess. 😆

Wouldn't Dixit family throw a reception later btw? Or will they conveniently forget about that 🤔

I think there was a spoiler article that both family will again disagree on bride and groom's wedding dress so Dev and Sona will decide that each will follow their own respective custom...Sona in banarasi saree not Dev in sherwani instead of Dhotime Kurta.
But I really feel she will wear legenga for pheras as Ish wanted.

Neha and Sona'so situation is not same...Sona will do it for her parents whereas Neha just wanted to wear an expensive designer lehenga to look beautiful, to show off.

Selfish Sona

she is wearing both outfits. That is why her blouse is different then saree. And she knows that bride should wear wedding dress which is comes from groom 's side.

I don't think we can define Bengali tradition with just saree..If it's not just ishwaris sons wedding, it's also not just sonas parents daughter wedding.. Ishwari as a character has compromised a lot.. If she has adjusted sooo much they should also adjust just for dress.. It's just sad to see that They being from Brahmin family gave into non veg being served.. This should be above culture and all.. Right now thins are not looking going Ishwaris way atall. In fact she is at the receiving end from sonas parents, adjusting to their Bengali wedding demand, adjusting to her son agreeing for non veg in wedding.. Common.. We really need to give this women some credit..can't just live in fairy tale.

Sona and Devs breakup was Dev fault and not Ishwari.
