Is dev doing right by hiding about Sona's health issue from Ishwari

Hi,

I love Devakshi and its a dream come true to see love birds together.

However, these days I kind of feel bad for Ishwari. I guess Ishwari has all rights to know about Sonakshi not going to conceive in future. Dev is being selfish here and only thinking about Sona and not his family. It does look great in fairytales but everyone wants kids. I know they would have not done anything if they found this after marriage and its fair but knowing before and not telling his Mom is like deceivng her. What happened Dev...for you your Mom was everything?

What do you guys think?

Why? Is he marrying a baby making machine for mom? More than mom, he needs to tell Sonakshi. She is the only one who has a right to her own health information and def. something that impacts their future. Both need to talk and deal with it and move forward.. thats life!

Decision of having kids is a personal choice of a couple. Mommy doesn't get included in your 'dependent' visa as well. Wife and children are the ones. Mommy, once have their kids married, should let go of their expectations and rights on them, actually not even married, once kids are independent, there should be a limit of interference and information-exchange between parents and kids, whereas wife is your partner in everything.

Ishwari has no right to know about all these at this point when Sonakshi also isn't aware of this. Ishwari's wanting of grandkids should not be above the personal preferences of her kids - Dev, Neha, Rhea or Niki. If they want to have kids, Ishwari would have grandkids, else no.

I agree that Sonakshi should know 100% but IMO Ishwari or any other Mom has right to think/ suggest their kids. Ishwari didn't even think about her respect when she begged Boss family for her son (even though it was just for her son and no love for Sonakshi).

A mother can request for grandkids, but can't force them to have children. As Gemini rightly pointed out, initially Neha had decidded to not have kids. What could Ishwari do then?

Sona should know definitely because it's her health. But what would Ishwari do if she finds out the truth? Can she fix Sona's problem? No. She can't.

So whether she knows or not makes no difference.

Secondly, it's not like they can never have kids. It's only that they can't have kids by normal process. So what? That's why there are surrogates available.

Ishwari will get grandkids if Dev and Sona chooses to go with surrogacy or adoption and won't have grandkids, if they decide not to have kids. She still has three more children to get grandkids out of. Dev is not her only child.

A baby is only the decision of husband and wife, no one else's.
