So after the bomb was dropped on Friday, today was nothing but letting this feeling sink in

Poor Dev. . We all imagined him like this na

Such a big setback and he has to keep it to himself, increases his pain many a times.

The Doctor😡 Did he forget what 7% means????

He said 7% and then said, if she conceives it will be no less than a miracle😡

How is Dev supposed to react ? This was leadt expected at that point, he choses to not speak to Bijoy about it..

Dev, not even for once, thought about his own dreams of being a father. He was worried that Sonakshi will be hurt that they won't be able to live their happiness of having Tiny Mr. Obhodro and Little Sonakshi

Then, he thought about his mother. It is big deal for in-laws to have a grandchild, Dev relates to Ishwari's wishes, he also realises that from her perspective, A child apart from their joy, is also a carrier of their legacy.

He is scared to imagine the reactions of the most important women of his life. First Sonakshi, because he doesn't want to hide the truth from her, it can't be hidden anyway, but the mere thought of Sonakshi leaving him just for the sake of his happiness, shakes the core of him and he drops the idea of telling her altogether.

Next, he thinks about Ishwari's reaction. Her disappointment scares him again. But then, this feeling of Letting Ishwari down has to be faced someday or the other so that she can accept Sonakshi, so he decides to talk to her.

He went to talk to Ishwari first because that would ensure there is no obstacle in her acceptance for Sona later. He won't have the courage to tell her, is another thing.

Now, the buaji part😆 I found her a little irritating😆 But then, her dialogues were so apt for an elder who loves to nit-pick.😆

Good comic relief.😆

P.S Sonakshi was literally glowing today😳😳

Yeah the wierd part is .. why Doc's approach about this was so negative :(
Like usually happens in any show..how doc gives such extreme conclusions..he too did the same :( ..I wasnt expecting it I was hoping a better and a real reaction from him..like pacifying and helping patient's relatives to understand the situation and giving them positive feel and acting little intelligently..and not like a filmy doctor ..so thats where I was disappointed :(

But Dev's reaction broke my heart ..He was suffering ..oh poor fellow..struggling with his emotions ..dreading Sona Ish's reaction..cant imagine what he must be going through ..when such a big bomb is dropped on someone ..they both imagined their kids their happiness together :( oh lord give him strength :(

Even disliked this budhiya and that ghoonghat wli girl..I mean what was the need to bring them gave such dehati shows wali feel ..bhojpuri type look ..why :S..and god knows how long she will stay ..cant imagine ..she is 100 times more fussy and particular about her religion I am absolutely dreading her reaction if she will get to know shaadi menu has non veg food..OH mann..poora ghar sar par utha legi -_-

But one thing I really liked about one of her scenes today ..the way for the first time Ishwari genuinly defended Sona like whole heartedly ..the way she replied to buaji was applause worthy LOL..but mamaji ne as usual handled the situation in the best way possible :)..he is my only "aas" in that house ..who will handle things in future also

Sona was so so happy like after ages I saw old chirpy Sona ..she was beaming with happiness and now I can understand how can Dev dampen it ..how can he break her heart..he wants only happiness for her after all :(

Two professions often extremely badly handled on Indian TV are - doctors and lawyers! What we are seeing is a confirmation of this.

Which doctor will talk the way he did? That too in the year 2016! Is he a gastro, gynecologist, a physician? Is he a RMP? What is he? The way he spoke even a compounder won't

Then we have Sona, so meticulous in medical reports, not concerned about her own! Excruciating pain and not seeking answers? Hmm.

Then we have Dev, a guy who is always a doer, a person who does things even if it means taking care of somebody else's children to get a sugar free cake... Just give up like that! No secon opinion..

Then we have the Bose family who has seen their daughter go through physical pain... And not show that much concern as to what could be the reason!

Then we have 7% chances treated as if it is zero!

Well, I guess all is fair in a TV show..

True dear When he himself said that there were 7% chances, how could he say that her being a mother will be a miracle only. But it was only added for the impact I think. The 7% will be a big hope for Devakshi later.

I wonder if Dev will ever be able to live his happiness completely ever

😆😆 yes. . She was so irritating. I wondered why they did not bring in a 'raubdaar' personality as Buaji, but I guess they wanted to keep it raw because they can't forget that Ishwari was from a family from a lower economic strata, primarily belonging to the village. . It could justify Buaji's rigidity.

Dev it's a given that he would be so shaken up knowing that if ever Sonakshi conceive it will be a miracle I just do hope much later DevAKshi can have their own baby .

Dev not telling Sona but later it will become a problem when she finds out the truth .

Totally agree that the statements by Doctors and Lawyers are most negligently used on TV.

A doctor should not be so pessimistic, he was outright negative, Ho hi nahi sakta kinds..

I guess, all the points you mentioned, were overlooked only to intensify Dev's pain.

Dev, as I said when lets this news sink in, will seek second opinion or medical guidance on the issue. .I am sure of it.😊

Sonakshi being a nutritionist and her parents can be given this benefit of doubt of not understanding the situation, because from their perspective, at this point of time, the question of Sona being unhealthy since birth, does not even arise. It happens, in moments of happiness we tend to overlook what is right infront of our eyes.

True! It can pave way for an MU if Sonakshi knows about the truth herself and that Dev already knew about it. I wish they show Dev thinking about how 7% chances are much higher if compared to no chances at all.

1st line is bang on!!

The doctor's viewpoint and explanation to Dev should have been handled in a better way.

As for Sona and family, I think it was ok for them to do that coz

a. Given the fact that Sona was really stressed for last few days, the family could not have doubted Dev's staement.

b. Since there is wedding in the house, everyone in the family has kept other things on backseat...even Sona's health coz they must have thought it hapoened for the time and after few hours now Sona is fine also..so no further thoughts given to the matter. They have taken it as a minor temporary problem.

c. Dev's always has been shown like that. He first thinks abt Sona and Ishwari which he did here too, he thought of their reactions and is thinking on those lines for now. Second opinion will come second only and not first.
