The biggest problem with the proposal episode, apart from Shaheer's hair, was the pace.

😆😆His hair, his hair! It has acquired a life and personality of its own and its massively distracting !!

Fantastic post👏 and agree with everything you've written.

Strangely,I also wondered about the choreography of the reunion scene. Where on earth was Dev turning to go?? It all felt so clumsy and unrealistic. Why not show just a really tight hug? i mean, ideally they should show them kiss (which any couple would after such a long and difficult separation), but this is Indian TV so of course no kissing can be shown in a country of 1 billion people.

Even in yesterday's episode, when Dev and Sona go outside to talk, wouldn't it have been the most natural thing for them to at least hold hands? Why show them walking at 2 feet distance from each other?

The less said about the proposal, the better.

Loved Bijoy's sly digs. Much needed. Someone has to hold a mirror to this seriously disturbed Dixit family.

Come here, you🤗

You're not the only one feeling this way. Go through the posts made yesterday after the proposal. You'll find similar sentiments and there are many of us who feel the same way. I have ranted on all of them. I'll do it here as well.

The biggest problem with the proposal episode, apart from Shaheer's hair, was the pace. So much happened in the span of 20 mins that I couldn't process half of it. One moment Sona was questioning Dev's love for her - whether he really loves her or treats her like a toy and the very next scene she's like "Will Baba agree?". It literally just took one speech by Asha for Sona to have a total 180.
Then, Bijoy agreed as well, for his daughter's sake. Which was understandable. Then, Dev arrived in a span of a minute and started honking outside instead of coming in and apologizing to her parents like a gentleman.

Then came the reunion. Which was weird. There's no other word for it. It was so so idiotically choreographed. I liked Sona's hesitation when she takes a step back and Dev pulls her into a hug. Which also was soo short. The confession hug was so much longer and a longer hug was needed now, more than ever. You guys just back together. Don't y'all want to hold onto each other for dear life? Then suddenly, Dev lets go of her and starts walking off God knows where, then stops, then turns around with a 'What he hell just happened' expression on his face. Then comes the flying hug. Which also lasted for precisely one second.

Then came the proposal. Which, according to me, seemed like a total Anti-climax. It seemed so out of place. As beautiful as the confession scene was, this was just that tacky. Something, I never expected I would associate KRPKAB with. World's best proposal? Not so much. It was a cliche. Which would've been fine - had there been a sincere heartfelt conversation between Dev and Sona, an apology from Dev and actually addressing their issues before riding off into the sunset. The tumble and fall, though cute, wasn't needed. Instead, a passionate hug was the need of the hour.

The entire scene at the Dixit house could've been saved for the next episode. I wasn't able to understand Ishwari's expression when Sona called her Maa, neither could I figure out Neha.

Then, came yesterday's episode. Bijoy's behavior was totally and completely justified. I loved how he gave Dev a hard time. I had a lump in my mouth when he was watching Sona chatting happily with Elena. A father's love has been potrayed to the T in this show. He is the only one looking out for Sona right now. At a time, when even Sona's priorities are messed up. She has again started looking at everything with rose tinted glasses. Words fail me to describe how much I love the Bose family and how disturbed I am with the Dixits. They are seriously a bunch of loonies.

Also, am I the only one who feel's there's something missing in Devkashi convos? They are not as intense as before, and Dev doesn't look half as happy as he should - considering all the stunts he pulled to bring Sona back into his life.

Phew! That was a long rant. Thank you so much for the shoutout, love🤗 Nothing makes me happier than to know that you could relate so much to my FF. It feels amazing to know that I could connect with you to this level ❤️

Thank you😃 Good to know there are so many of us here who feel the same way.
Initially, I wanted passion and intense scenes coz I just love Dev and Sonakshi together, but now it has become crucial to the story line. They just got back together and are supposed to get married in 10 days. The school children romance really needs to stop now.
The production house doesn't shy away from showing intimate scenes on their other show. They've shown an onscreen kiss as well!! Then what's the problem with showing just a little bit more intimacy on this show?! There are many ways to show intimacy between a couple other than kissing. Now with the infertility track coming up, it has become all the more crucial to show some real attraction between them instead of just crying and smiling and punching each other all the time!
Bijoy is the only sane one right now.

Welcome to the club😆We are all standing baffled and annoyed here with how the patch up was shown. After the episode I vented some but I was so irritated with the episode that I didn't make any detailed posts that day. I was pulling my hear when Sonakshi agreed so easily forgetting everything in a minute. From self respect and value it suddenly turned into Baba's permission. My reaction? You've got to be kidding me.
Then when she happily convinced her Baba(why,oh why did she do that)there comes the lover boy(yes, boy, not man)honking away. No sorry to her family , no thank you for giving him a chance, honk and your girl comes running into your arms as if the only obstacle standing ever was her father.I liked that one moment of hesitation but what was with that flying hug? I LOVED their signature flying hugs but that one was so out of place and forced. And then when they were in the car, it felt like they had both forgotten everything that happened after the break up till the patch up. Serious , important, heartfelt conversations anyone? That proposal was so half-baked. To me it looked more like 2 friends patching up after a small fight than two people so in love proposing for marriage. I wasn't looking for anything grand, if he would have bent on his knee right in front of her house, expressing how he could not wait one more second and how he had realised his mistakes and would never repeat them, then that teary eyes scene where he wipes her tears and says bus, it would have become the best proposal for us. We loved the confession because it was simple and heartfelt. The proposal seemed so blah! And come on people, when two adult lovers patch up after such a heartbreak they don't hug like kids. Where is the longing and passion?

I loved and enjoyed the Bose family though. I felt Asha was being mature and letting her daughter make a decision for herself but whats the hurry? But I still liked and enjoyed her scenes.Enjoyed her love, her maturity. Same with Bijoy. Loved his scenes , both with Asha and Sona.He is the only one who is thinking about the future when everyone us thinking about the present.Love the Bose family. His words, his thinking, his cold behavior with Dev, all are totally justified. He should give Dev hard time.🤗

And what is with Shaheer's hair, its so distracting and shabby. I want the hot business tycoon back.

@Bold : That is exactly what Dev's problem is. For him, money solves all problems. He actually thought that Sonakshi wanted a grand proposal, hence the lights, music and what not. World's best proposal can just be a heartfelt conversation and a tight hug. That conveys more than any grandeur money can buy. I don't really blame Dev that much, coz he has been conditioned to believe that you can be happy only if you have money. Tough childhood and a Mom like Ishwari can do that to a person.
But the apology and the realization and introspection and admittance of screwing up royally in front of the woman you love, baring your soul in the truest sense - Now that's World's best proposal. The introspection is something I expected Dev to do on his own, without help from anybody. He owes Sonakshi at least that.

When I started watching this show...I got attracted to how the story was presented and narrated. And ofcourse main leads too. But the most important thing being I could relate to it unlike other shows on TV. I was connected to each character on the show (even felt bad when Kichhu was replaced by Bhola) Thats how connected I was. And yes when they Dev & Sona fell in love...I fell in love, I blushed and smiled and felt the warmth during all their moments. Cried when they broke up. Basically lived every emotion that the beautiful show took us through. But then suddenly in 1 Episode they patch up with hardly speaking 2 lines to each other. I could sit through the patch up scene only bcoz of DevAkshi expressions...but yes I wanted them to have a heart 2 theart talk. They even had the proposal which I just could not emotionally connect to coz I was shocked and wondering why are they rushing???? Anyways I could go on and on and on...I already made a post on this yday. And to add to all this yday's epi had DevAkshi like for not more than 2-3 mins. Agreed I appreciate how the family issues were shown which is wat happens in life. But do they forget that this marriage is of DevAkshi. Didnt they just patch up after such a heart wrenching break up? Dont they need to spend some time? Do the couple even reflect on what just happened in their lives?

So I noticed that many ppl were upset abt how the whole patch up and proposal was presented and many made posts here. And then later in the day there is this article from Fusions praising the patch up and proposal and also mentioning rather explaining Dev's redemption might come up soon. That article felt more like the makers' mouthpiece. Like as if Makers had gone thru the posts in the forum and sensed tht many of the fans were UNHAPPY.

Then today Mamta mam retweets fans' tweets...who are all gaga over the proposal calling it the World's Best Proposal. (respect their POV) and then another retweet from her where in a fan mentioned that this show is liked by all bcoz of how realistic it is (examples given of proposal and patch up) and that the show has a very intelligent audience. Her retweeted this tweet with emojis showing how happy and impressed she was. I was like SERIOUSLY?! It kinda shook me> felt like I unknowingly got myself too invested in this show...whereas Makers are making no attempt to bring back the old magic of KRPKAB to which I got attracted to.

I am willing to be patient and go thru all twists and turns that they want to show. But be consistent in your style of story telling and presentation. I am finding it a little difficult to emotionally connect to the show and that leaves me with a very sad feeling. Like feeling CHEATED.
Sorry for the rant. But I hope I made sense.

Seriously??!! People were actually happy with the proposal?! My mouth fell open from disbelief because of how after a whole amazing month of episodes, they skipped a very very important chunk. They had to show that Dev truley regrets all the stupidity he did because. It. Was. Not. Okay. It's not fine that for love he did all those things, and they are showing that she just forgets it because of their "love"?!

LMAO YES. His hair really kills my damn soul. And yes again, there's no intensity to their conversations anymore, for the first time I felt it was scripted and tacky. Love you too Malvika, you get me 🤗
