Okay..
Am I missing something or is anyone else very confused, very angry, and very disappointed?
I haven't been able to watch any of these week's episodes, and I was so excited for another amazing week of episodes, but then within a span of a frikin episode they're back together?! I feel like I've missed an entire months worth of episodes! Where they redeemed Dev, and showed Dev truley understand his unhealthy attachment to his mother, and a month where Sona really understands herself as a person and as a woman.
Why is this so rushed and choppy all of a sudden?! Like last week only everything was so gorgeous on the show, so emotional and beautiful and now- what?!!!
I don't know if anyone understands me right now, but I'm so angry at the show rift now. I wanted them to get back together in as much emotions as when they broke up.
And all they had to do was make her mom sad and she convinced Sona?! Is the show ending or something? They spent so much time building this amazing, complex, deep plot and W*F is this?! And now this whole proposal thing seems so unconvincing to me because their was really no redemption for Dev, like basically all this drama happened for God know how many months, and the solution was Ishwari coming to her house twice?! And it's not like with a grudge Sona said yes, it was like Dev didn't mess her life for like a frikin my month, tormenting, taunting, and ruining her life that led to a broken engagement! Why are they rushing this so much, and why build up an amazing story and then have a watered-down solution?! Why make us all feel this hatred, anger but all sadness towards Dev's hard to understand character, and then not even show him evolved?! He's literally, the exact same person as he was a month ago when they broke up, constantly needing his mother's approval, and not understanding how stupidly he was behaving with Sona.
I don't know if anyone agrees with me, and I get it, Dev and Sona yaaay! But having such a bland and confusing way of them getting back together has only led me to not be quite happy for them as I hoped. The only plot currently that's interesting me is Neha's problem with Ranbir. And what's worse, is that I didn't have a smile on my face as DevAkshi hugged, I was just plain taken aback, and it really killed me. The reason I loved all the DevAkshi scenes were because they brought a grin to my face and warmed my heart. And what's worse, IS THAT SHE THANKED ISHWARI FOR BRINGING THEM TOGETHER. Sona don't you understand what life you're leading into?! One with zero communication, and an obsessive mother who will glare at you as you breathe the same air as Dev. Thankfully Bijoy is seeing this, and not becoming blind with 'Ishwari's love for her son'. THANK YOU BIJOY FOR HAVING SOME DAMN SENSE AND YOU ARE CONCERNED FOR YOUR DAUGHTER'S WELL BEING. Please Bijoy, PLEASE, make them think a little, everyone is blinded by the fact that they are in love, and not about all the problems beneath it. He's thinking of the future, and that's what parents should do. I love Asha, seriously I do, but she isn't thinking about her daughter's honest future, she's only thinking of the fact that her daughter's getting married.
This episode only made me think of that gorgeous FF by Malvika (which btw, IS SO BEAUTIFUL I CANT) where Dev and Sona live together in his house and that's all good, but then their problems end up causing this drift between them that only gets worse as more problems are created around them. That. That is exactly what going to happen to these two, they will be all "we are in love and that's enough", but then after a point they will think "is love enough for a strong relationship?". They will start resenting each other, and these two beautiful and genuinely sweet people will ruin each other's lives in the name of "love".

And I already know many people will disagree with this post, but I just had to write it. My only hope is that Bijoy really makes Sona think about this step she's taking. Please cvs, don't make this plot worse than it has become.
*drops mike*
Ps. I hope I haven't offended anyone but this is my opinion about this crazy episode.
Pps. Bijoy needs a standing ovation for being the only real person in the whole damn episode.
*picks up mike, coughs, and drops it again*

Yes for the past week many of us have expressed their disappointment over all this. Many of us share sentiments similar to yours. Everything in the track was just haphazardly stuck back together with bandaids. 😔

You have no clue of what a perfect timing to your post. I just logged into the Forum to make a post with the title 'FEEL CHEATED'. And then i stumble upon your post. I could justs ense how u feel. Coz I am Angry too. No wait...I think more HURT.

When I started watching this show...I got attracted to how the story was presented and narrated. And ofcourse main leads too. But the most important thing being I could relate to it unlike other shows on TV. I was connected to each character on the show (even felt bad when Kichhu was replaced by Bhola) Thats how connected I was. And yes when they Dev & Sona fell in love...I fell in love, I blushed and smiled and felt the warmth during all their moments. Cried when they broke up. Basically lived every emotion that the beautiful show took us through. But then suddenly in 1 Episode they patch up with hardly speaking 2 lines to each other. I could sit through the patch up scene only bcoz of DevAkshi expressions...but yes I wanted them to have a heart 2 theart talk. They even had the proposal which I just could not emotionally connect to coz I was shocked and wondering why are they rushing???? Anyways I could go on and on and on...I already made a post on this yday. And to add to all this yday's epi had DevAkshi like for not more than 2-3 mins. Agreed I appreciate how the family issues were shown which is wat happens in life. But do they forget that this marriage is of DevAkshi. Didnt they just patch up after such a heart wrenching break up? Dont they need to spend some time? Do the couple even reflect on what just happened in their lives?

So I noticed that many ppl were upset abt how the whole patch up and proposal was presented and many made posts here. And then later in the day there is this article from Fusions praising the patch up and proposal and also mentioning rather explaining Dev's redemption might come up soon. That article felt more like the makers' mouthpiece. Like as if Makers had gone thru the posts in the forum and sensed tht many of the fans were UNHAPPY.

Then today Mamta mam retweets fans' tweets...who are all gaga over the proposal calling it the World's Best Proposal. (respect their POV) and then another retweet from her where in a fan mentioned that this show is liked by all bcoz of how realistic it is (examples given of proposal and patch up) and that the show has a very intelligent audience. Her retweeted this tweet with emojis showing how happy and impressed she was. I was like SERIOUSLY?! It kinda shook me> felt like I unknowingly got myself too invested in this show...whereas Makers are making no attempt to bring back the old magic of KRPKAB to which I got attracted to.

I am willing to be patient and go thru all twists and turns that they want to show. But be consistent in your style of story telling and presentation. I am finding it a little difficult to emotionally connect to the show and that leaves me with a very sad feeling. Like feeling CHEATED.
Sorry for the rant. But I hope I made sense.

Come here, you🤗
You're not the only one feeling this way. Go through the posts made yesterday after the proposal. You'll find similar sentiments and there are many of us who feel the same way. I have ranted on all of them. I'll do it here as well.

The biggest problem with the proposal episode, apart from Shaheer's hair, was the pace. So much happened in the span of 20 mins that I couldn't process half of it. One moment Sona was questioning Dev's love for her - whether he really loves her or treats her like a toy and the very next scene she's like "Will Baba agree?". It literally just took one speech by Asha for Sona to have a total 180.
Then, Bijoy agreed as well, for his daughter's sake. Which was understandable. Then, Dev arrived in a span of a minute and started honking outside instead of coming in and apologizing to her parents like a gentleman.

Then came the reunion. Which was weird. There's no other word for it. It was so so idiotically choreographed. I liked Sona's hesitation when she takes a step back and Dev pulls her into a hug. Which also was soo short. The confession hug was so much longer and a longer hug was needed now, more than ever. You guys just back together. Don't y'all want to hold onto each other for dear life? Then suddenly, Dev lets go of her and starts walking off God knows where, then stops, then turns around with a 'What he hell just happened' expression on his face. Then comes the flying hug. Which also lasted for precisely one second.

Then came the proposal. Which, according to me, seemed like a total Anti-climax. It seemed so out of place. As beautiful as the confession scene was, this was just that tacky. Something, I never expected I would associate KRPKAB with. World's best proposal? Not so much. It was a cliche. Which would've been fine - had there been a sincere heartfelt conversation between Dev and Sona, an apology from Dev and actually addressing their issues before riding off into the sunset. The tumble and fall, though cute, wasn't needed. Instead, a passionate hug was the need of the hour.

The entire scene at the Dixit house could've been saved for the next episode. I wasn't able to understand Ishwari's expression when Sona called her Maa, neither could I figure out Neha.

Then, came yesterday's episode. Bijoy's behavior was totally and completely justified. I loved how he gave Dev a hard time. I had a lump in my mouth when he was watching Sona chatting happily with Elena. A father's love has been potrayed to the T in this show. He is the only one looking out for Sona right now. At a time, when even Sona's priorities are messed up. She has again started looking at everything with rose tinted glasses. Words fail me to describe how much I love the Bose family and how disturbed I am with the Dixits. They are seriously a bunch of loonies.

Also, am I the only one who feel's there's something missing in Devkashi convos? They are not as intense as before, and Dev doesn't look half as happy as he should - considering all the stunts he pulled to bring Sona back into his life.

Phew! That was a long rant. Thank you so much for the shoutout, love🤗 Nothing makes me happier than to know that you could relate so much to my FF. It feels amazing to know that I could connect with you to this level ❤️

It was just an emotional blackmail by everyone esp both the mothers -

The only plot currently that's interesting me is Neha's problem with Ranbir.

There case is just like devakshi but a contradiction in itself by CVs. Neha and ranveer had such an intense love that everyone agreed for the marriage considering LOVE as the only factor for a successful marriage. (As is being said by ASHA also)

Neha key dimag se LOVE ka bhoot utar raha hai aur life ka asli realisation ho raha hai.YEh bhoot sona ke dimag se bhee utrega jab subah sham she'll face the devilish grins from Vicky and taunts from GKB. DEv as usual would not be around. Waise hoga bhee toh kya kar lega - does he have the guts?????

Neha may turn negative and jealous towards Sona

IS THAT SHE THANKED ISHWARI FOR BRINGING THEM TOGETHER. Sona don't you understand what life you're leading into?!

The most ridiculous part was thanking ISH

THANK YOU BIJOY FOR HAVING SOME DAMN SENSE AND YOU ARE CONCERNED FOR YOUR DAUGHTER'S WELL BEING.

In the two families he seems to be the only sensible person having practical attitude and not taking emotional knee jerk reactions.

TRUE

Yes many people will disagree but some will agree too😆😆😆😆

Please cvs, don't make this plot worse than it has become.

Sorry ---CVs have their objectives in show destruction- Cvs can never give a good show - Unka ek hee aim hai - jab log show ko bahud pasand karen toh CVs ko ek insecurity ho jaati hai- "How dare you fools like our show" - this thinking gets into CVs mind and they come out with a plot to ruin the show so that audience should break their head- CVs get a sadistic pleasure - out of this

BTW your post is different and I like it.😆😆😆

Even I don't know what's happening whether the loopholes have been kept deliberately or not and I don't understand why are the makers hell bend on glorifying Ishwari they know many of the viewers don't understand her but still they want us to sympathize with her I guess we have to just wait and watch 😊

oh my friend, you are one more in a large group! Come join!😆
The expression of Dev's love brought teary smiles.
The break up scene brought angsty tears to my eyes.
The scene where Dev explains how painful it was to see Ritwik put his ring on Sona's finger made me reach for many tissues.

The part where she hesitated before hugging him made my breath catch, but it was fleeting. But it stopped there. I am so rooting for these two to patch up but frankly its been boring since then first hug. maybe Shaheer Sharper and Erica are hesitant to do passion.😕

Their hugs could use some work. Tighter and with more feeling. blushes also.

Couldn't agree more. You're not the only one feeling cheated out of a leisurely unfolding of the story post break-up. This was the part I was looking forward to so much - how the couple manages to navigate the very choppy waters they find themselves in, without the catalyst of the third angle and the related OTT drama, and of course without Goddess Ma saving the day at the last minute. What a treat it would have been to see them separated but still communicating, Dev using the time apart to really think about Sona and her importance in his life and how he can communicate this to his mother. Not ask for her permission. But tell her that he is lost without Sona, he needs her with him, and he can't understand what it is about Sona that Ishwari objects to. Because when you think about it, what can she possibly object to in Sona? Why did Dev never think about this or question this? Because I guess you don't question your God. Unless you're drunk.
