Am I missing something or is anyone else very confused, very angry, and very disappointed?
I haven't been able to watch any of these week's episodes, and I was so excited for another amazing week of episodes, but then within a span of a frikin episode they're back together?! I feel like I've missed an entire months worth of episodes! Where they redeemed Dev, and showed Dev truley understand his unhealthy attachment to his mother, and a month where Sona really understands herself as a person and as a woman.
Why is this so rushed and choppy all of a sudden?! Like last week only everything was so gorgeous on the show, so emotional and beautiful and now- what?!!!
I don't know if anyone understands me right now, but I'm so angry at the show rift now. I wanted them to get back together in as much emotions as when they broke up.
And all they had to do was make her mom sad and she convinced Sona?! Is the show ending or something? They spent so much time building this amazing, complex, deep plot and W*F is this?! And now this whole proposal thing seems so unconvincing to me because their was really no redemption for Dev, like basically all this drama happened for God know how many months, and the solution was Ishwari coming to her house twice?! And it's not like with a grudge Sona said yes, it was like Dev didn't mess her life for like a frikin my month, tormenting, taunting, and ruining her life that led to a broken engagement! Why are they rushing this so much, and why build up an amazing story and then have a watered-down solution?! Why make us all feel this hatred, anger but all sadness towards Dev's hard to understand character, and then not even show him evolved?! He's literally, the exact same person as he was a month ago when they broke up, constantly needing his mother's approval, and not understanding how stupidly he was behaving with Sona.
I don't know if anyone agrees with me, and I get it, Dev and Sona yaaay! But having such a bland and confusing way of them getting back together has only led me to not be quite happy for them as I hoped. The only plot currently that's interesting me is Neha's problem with Ranbir. And what's worse, is that I didn't have a smile on my face as DevAkshi hugged, I was just plain taken aback, and it really killed me. The reason I loved all the DevAkshi scenes were because they brought a grin to my face and warmed my heart. And what's worse, IS THAT SHE THANKED ISHWARI FOR BRINGING THEM TOGETHER. Sona don't you understand what life you're leading into?! One with zero communication, and an obsessive mother who will glare at you as you breathe the same air as Dev. Thankfully Bijoy is seeing this, and not becoming blind with 'Ishwari's love for her son'. THANK YOU BIJOY FOR HAVING SOME DAMN SENSE AND YOU ARE CONCERNED FOR YOUR DAUGHTER'S WELL BEING. Please Bijoy, PLEASE, make them think a little, everyone is blinded by the fact that they are in love, and not about all the problems beneath it. He's thinking of the future, and that's what parents should do. I love Asha, seriously I do, but she isn't thinking about her daughter's honest future, she's only thinking of the fact that her daughter's getting married.
This episode only made me think of that gorgeous FF by Malvika (which btw, IS SO BEAUTIFUL I CANT) where Dev and Sona live together in his house and that's all good, but then their problems end up causing this drift between them that only gets worse as more problems are created around them. That. That is exactly what going to happen to these two, they will be all "we are in love and that's enough", but then after a point they will think "is love enough for a strong relationship?". They will start resenting each other, and these two beautiful and genuinely sweet people will ruin each other's lives in the name of "love".
And I already know many people will disagree with this post, but I just had to write it. My only hope is that Bijoy really makes Sona think about this step she's taking. Please cvs, don't make this plot worse than it has become.

Ps. I hope I haven't offended anyone but this is my opinion about this crazy episode.
Pps. Bijoy needs a standing ovation for being the only real person in the whole damn episode.
