It was a really touching first half. I loved that it was Asha who brought everybody around, I planned exactly that in an OS. Asha made Sona straighten up and go talk to her Baba, who was already half agreeable. SBS ppl tried hard to make Bijoy a villain, but he's just a concerned dad, as he should be.

It was so cute that Sourabh was dialling Dev to come quickly as green flag was flying in Bose house.😆 And Dev wasted no time at all. Arrived all windswept and tragic, like he suffered a 2 week continuous headache.

All is forgiven for Sona, as she runs to him, only to hesitate at the last few steps. Dev reaches out and pulls her the remaining distance into his arms.

Then for some reason, he lets her go turns around to look again, as though wondering what the heck just happened!? Then she does her running jump right back into his arms.

No explanations, justifications. They drove off in his car to a surprise. Fancy lights , little kids with placards ...

"Sorry for everything "

" Thank you for coming back into my life "

He goes on bended knee and asks her to be Mrs Obhodro.

And she sits on his knee and says Yes! and then they fell as his knee wobbled. Both lovers brought to their knees by their love.

Happily enjoying my laddu here. Super sweet and saccharine. Yummy.

Next scene : Ishwari welcoming her bahu with aarti taali and gives blessing. Wishes both well, both touch her feet in respect. She gives Sona a bangle that is her bond to the family. Even Dev hasn't given her a ring yet, but ma gave bangle first !

That moment Sona called her "Ma", there was this millisecond of dikkhat in Ishwari's face, and she masked it well. How is it that Sona is this pliant and supple and naive again so fast?!

So the cute sisters fleece her away to talk and gush and Vicky appears there to taunt.

Really? suddenly my laddu taste went bitter as there was an unlucky piece of pepper in it. It spoiled the sweet and replaced it with unpleasantness. To top it , she told him off only to be heard by GKB and Neha .

Of course GKB will taunt too, try to demand respect and gain her upper hand... Sona, wasn't it all just to soon ?

CVs!! you force fed me laddu with a pepper in it !!!

p/s : Ok now that the grand gestures are done away with, I'm hoping for the meaningful dialogues tomorrow. starting with the precap, Bijoy having a chat with Dev.

The ladoo started tasting really good to start with..😉

If they had avoided Dev-Sona entry at the Dixit's the episode could have been seen better..

The makers can never miss Ishu in their episodes, I think..😆 They still could have shown The Dixits and The Boses' talking among themselves at their respective houses - how happy or worried or confused they are about all happening.. 😉

And the couple could have spent some time talking separately elsewhere.. 😉

And then meet the parents at their houses..😉

Ufff... One among the many many lost opportunities.. 🤪Let's take that the pepper has to come in to keep us prepared for the spicy taste coming up.. 😉

Anna... so true... a very feel good episode at the same time I was wondering what is going on.. like it was so sudden that I couldn't really get it first😔 as long as devakshi is there on screenam happy.. what a chemistry.. asha as a mother and all her dialogues are just beyond perfection.. what a mother!! Woww!!!

And dixit family scene i didnt like at all.. so u too noticed ishwari's experssion.. I was trying to decode it😃 I bet she could ever "Change"

In all imagined scenarios, I saw Dev coming in and asking her family respectfully if it was ok for him to take her out. It is the gentlemanly and respectful thing to do. Plus It would have earned him so many brownie points for thoughtfulness.. ..

you are right, it did look like (To my disappointment) that Sona had no issues other than whether her dad agrees.

Oh Sona...how can you be so naive?

But I think Bijoy will have sone stern words with Dev today. I hope they do that well. Please put those awesome dialogue writers back ! The ones who wrote the confession...

to me, the most engaging moment was when Sona ran to him and stopped short. Their eye communication was amazing..

the rest was meh.

Why did not go see her parents first, since he was taking her to his house afterwards? Ugh, this guy needs a crash course in "How to deal with In-Laws" .. But for Me it's common sense...

i thought Asha had already knew about Sona's difficulty in moving on from Dev. Her respect for Bijoy kept her from outright supporting them. So she brought him around then told Sona to go settle it. Father and daughter are very close, and she wanted to heal their bond. ❤️.. I love this family. And the way Sourabh hugged his grouchy Baba so affectionately...

Good post ! And I agree with everything you have written.

First of all I did not like Dev not even showing the basic courtesy to take the blessings of the Boses. Is it not equally important ? Secondly the proposal could have waited but what was important was them to sit somewhere and have a heart-heart discussion about what went wrong and what could each of them do to improve their relationship and avoid the mistakes they made. Sadly that did not happen and they rushed to some place where everything was kept ready by Dev for his most amazing proposal. The proposal was good to see but I definitely expected much more. And then they rush back to the Dixit house. I honestly feel that kangan giving thing should have happened in front of the Boses. Anyway Vicky and GKB have started targeting Sona from the word GO and Neha certainly has something up her sleeves. Well hope she is genuinely happy but is wary of Ishwari.

Yes, that would have been nice. I think, the makers purposefully didn't take that route. If they showed them Dev asking Sona's family permission to take her out. Then there would have been confrontation between Dev and Sona's dad.

Actually I glad they didn't show that. Otherwise we would have missed seeing their happy smiles, longing...Basically what we saw how these two missed being together. It clearly showed in their eyes.

Dev earned brownie points when he took her to different place for proposal instead of taking to his home straightway 😆😆😆

"Sorry for everything, and thank you for coming back in my life". those are simple words but Dev's expressions...that was enough saying thousand words how much Dev loves Sona and happy with her being his side and he will not leave her again (referring the scene that you liked in yesterday's episode)

Proposal was simple as well as beautiful and heart touching. Typical Dev's style 😊
