I think a little patience is called for. Till Friday we got exactly what we asked for. Sona standing up for herself and her family. Asking Dev the right set of questions. We had Dev take a step back and think ( maybe he even introspected )

Just yesterday's episode had Ishwari trying to do what she can to get Sona back into DEv's life. However selfish the reason, the intention is still Dev's happiness. So no complaints there.

Whether Sona will agree , Dev will apologize is something we need to wait and see. The spoilers have spoilt it for us but if we wait and just look at the episodes the track has shaped up beautifully. I don't think the CVs will want to throw it away. Lets just watch for a couple of episodes.

The infertility track post marriage had no place. Before marriage is required so Dev gets an opportunity to showcase his support and strength... If not this way how can Dev show his support. This was required.
Ishwari's insecurities will be fanned only after Dev and Sona are together so the CVs cannot address that now.
Like I said a little patience is called for.

In total agreement.
I think we are ourselves to blame...we ourselves say we don't like spoilers and they take away all the excitement making us rush into things, flukes, predictions etc all over and we ourselves fall into the trap of these.

For once we need to wait and watch the show.
We are giving enuf importance, business and trp's to segments and spoilers.
For once lets give that to the show as well.

Nopes its hasn't . Maybe dekhne ka nazariya hai different in all this. The show is as realistic as possible. And about the main theme where Dev balances it out. I guess its still on the level of panning out which is start after this patch up maybe. It the main track anyway. And seeing how the writers have handled the show till now , I have hopes they can give us that.

I agree with each and every thing you have mentioned. Infertility track is to redeem dev in sona and her family's eyes. His love & support to sona at this juncture will be a treat to watch. Post marriage track will be ishwari's insecurities and the journey of her overcoming it with the help of sona and dev.

I totally can feel what you are saying here bro/sis 😆.. Long long back I had stopped expecting anything sane from this show.. Let me tell you the list of disappointments one by one :
1. Ishwari's chulaah drama - OTT Check
2. Ishwari's sleeping pills popping drama - OTT Check
3. Dev's forcing Sona into his family ignoring obvious body language from Ishwari - Unreal Dumbness Check
4. Dev's one-sided breakup - Initial mutual breakup promos overridden Check
5. Ishwari's ignoring Dev's obvious pain - Unreal Devilish touch in character Check
6. Dev's beginning to stalk/harass Sona and Rithvik - Unreal downfall of a Forbes List Businessman Check
7. Drunken Drama - OTT to the INFINITY to all aspects Check
8. Sona's compromise with ALL negative things of Dev - Unreal FL with Teresa-Forgiving nature Check
9. No redemption from Dev - Disappointment from even unreal track Check

Nothing can be said real in terms of the tracks or approach, just that the cinematography, the dialogs of Bose Family and the acting of the leads 🤣 are SO damn real that many of us decided to give in our expectations of watching a different drama. Also one more thing is - the pace of the show is really good which doesn't let me mourn for a particular bad thing for long 🤣

This infertility track can't be called unreal, but it doesnt go in sync with the promise the makers gave in the beginning of the show 😊 This just reminds me of a topic which I made few days back.. Please have a look :

CV has damaged the initial concept to that extent that now instead of taking a D-tour they HAVE to take a V/X Tours 😆 Just watch as it comes so no disappointments on the floor 😉

I am right there with you.I can't believe that even after so many let downs I was still waiting and hoping for Dev's redemption. Today's episode has opened my eyes. No further expectations, no more hopes. The only reason left to watch now is because of the brilliant actors and their potential chemistry and romance.(Was I the only one who did not find today's proposal the worlds' most romantic?😳) I use the word potential because it is yet to be explored by writers. Till now we've only got cuteness not passion. But I won't even bet on that.
Coming back to the main point, my list of disappointments is pretty much covered by both you and @pehchaan kaun so I will not repeat it. Please someone convey the meaning of mature handling of track to the writers because they clearly don't know it. The only mature people I found was the Bose family. There is so much to be said for all the characters but I can't find it in myself to list it all again and repeat what I have said on many posts.(may be I will update that later).

As for the infertility track, i will copy what I have written on another post on the discussion. Dev supporting Sona would be basically humanity.Otherwise he will be a jerk.A major problem should not have to arise for him to take action. Working on earning back trust, winning over Bose family by making small efforts would have won us over had Dev done that.

Also I think infertility is a sensitive issue, so to use it just to show redemption? That's bad. If it had been shown as a standalone issue that they faced after marriage without putting the redemption factor and then dealt with it, that would have been ok. Otherwise its all just being mixed up. Its like you are dealing with the wound inflicted later on but completely overlooked the wound that is still raw and not treated.I don't know if that made sense.

Will get back to update more if I have anything to add.But yes,now if I watch, it will be with no expectations.

Great to know some one else is also bothered about the initial promos. Ofcourse apart from me. When ever I expressed my point I was assured with Wait, CVs know everything have patience etc. I don't want to mention names. But now it is pretty clear that there is no chance of following the initially promised theme. I feel cheated. How good it would be had they followed the original theme? I genuinely think infertility theme is outdated as it was shown already. But if the show is moving towards that none can help but I feel bad . This was not the story I expected to watch.

You said it- no hopes left. Now I will watch for the fabulous lead pair which also is being ruined for me by Dev's unkempt look and the complete lack of passion. I'm guessing all the potential these 2 actors have to showcase something truly special, will remain just that - potential.

It is going to interesting and the issues will be dealt in realistic way..

Everyone will be redeemed eventually - its just a matter of time.. Again it is a fictional show and not a truman show of dev dixits life... So there will be some drama.. Have patience and set ur expectations accordingly.. My pov

I'm sorry, I think I have waited long enough. Initially the show seemed interesting and realistic. It was a good show, kept me hooked but started losing it's charm right after the breakup.

Let's not talk about redemption because everybody knows that's never gonna happen. Not for Dev. Not for Ishwari or anybody else. All the wrongdoings will be justified in the name of their so called 'Love'.
