The c.v's doing the right thing

Honestly, i was getting a bit frustrated over the fast pace of the show since sometime...i was eagerly looking forward for the redemption tracks of Ishwari and Dev...i was hoping Dev takes a stand for Sona and he wld be the one to bring her back .He would realize his mistake and take measures to correct it but as we see nothing of that sort seems to be happening.
Yes, i was mad at the c.v's but now when i think abt it, i guess this is the only way the show can move forward...the main plot is once Sona gets married and its about the dynamics between the mother in law and daughter in law and how the Son balances the two relations. Now if we are shown Dev taking a strong stand for Sona and even realizing his mothers real intentions or the true face , there wll b nothing else left for us to see in the show..there wld be no thrill or suspense abt the after marriage track coz by then Dev wld have made it clear that he wll support Sona over his mother.
The c.vs are keeping the realizations vague this time, so that the future track doesn't get predictable..I am sure Dev wld tke a stand ..i am sure that whatever we expect Dev of doing now , he wld do it in the future once Sona is his wife..that is when the real story wld start..when the three main characters are stayin under the same roof, how wld they deal with one another..that forms the crux of the story.

So, to all those who are mad at the fact that Dev does nothing to get Sona back or those calling Sona a fool for falling into Ishwaris trap without using her brains, i guess we shld just let the story unfold coz if everything happens as per what we wished for then that wld be the end of it..there would be no after marriage story to be shown..so lets jus sit and enjoy ...

thanks saj...thats the uniqueness of the show dear..earlier there have been shows which i began watching but quit midway cz i cldnt connect to it or cldnt tolerate the crap thrown at the audience...but there is something abt this show and the characters...that even if we feel disconnected at times, we try to find reasons to still love the show and stick to it..its like a family member..however flawed they are , we still search for the goodness in them..we still try to justify the flaws..thats wat we feel with the characters here too...and i am sure if the c.vs were capable of doing this ..they wld definitely not break our trust in the show !

I agree with you ...
But according to me understanding his mom's insecure side was one story and him accepting his stand and his actions, break up and post break up need some pondering.
Atleast he shud knw leaving Sonakshi was not a solution or there was nothing else he cud hv done.

i thnk he already accepted the fact that he was wrong in letting sona go...he has mentioned that time and again ...he said he hurt her many times..even during the mahaepisode he said that he has realized what he has lost ...but unless he understands his moms true face, i dont thnk he cld ever have thought of an alternate solution to it...

I m referring to the fact that he understands and accepts that even though his mom had issues with Sonakshi, leaving Sonakshi due to this reason was not acceptable. Even now he is ready to get back Sonakshi in his life wen Ishwari has said yes...for once he needs to tel her that Sonakshi's and his life's decision and their future will their mutual decision. They wil stay together even if Ishwari has issues, solution wil b to make things work in their favour than separation
