Honestly, this has got to be one of the most frank and critically fantastic posts I've read in a while. Everything you've said is TRUTH with a capital T. I mean firstly, Ishwari is a f*cked up human. Her character in the promo made me wanna throw up. Can we talk on how much we all wanted Dev to go against him mom and say he wanted her for who she was and not because his mom said yes! I mean Sonakshi, our Bengal Tigress had the guts to attempt to move on. Why'd she ever wanna go on for this pre-planned hell made for her? I truly want more from her. In the promo, Ishwari was ready to accept Sona only and only for his happiness. I mean what if Sonakshi didn't love Dev? Does that mean she'll still have to sacrifice her own life for this effing mother-son duo? Her engagement broke and she isn't ready for all this, yet Ishwari pressurizes her! Kya baat hai yaar! Honestly, I could kill her. Radha Rani's words were on point!

Showing this infertility before marriage means sona can have pain anytime now- again so --- they may show that she is getting pain on Suhag raat itself.
Dev rushing her to a hospital- there drama - finally declare sona can't conceive.
Then sad track - iswari/ Mami's taunts - no romance post marriage.
It looks like they want to keep a platonic relationship between them despite having good chemistry.

And u r big saint who didn't done any mistakes in your life...sorry I am not happy with your post, all lead character have done tremendous job...and about sona, why she blame dev only for creating scene in engagement...it's her fault too and we all know she loves dev and was angry just because of her parents got insulted and now her parents accepted dev, then why she have a problem. And why dev will go against her mom and marry sonakshi without her permission, no son in world will do that...they can only questions her mom but cannot go against them...maybe CVS want to show us that it's all happen due to ishwari, they breakup and now she is the only who reunite them and I am very happy with this move...no mother want to see her son suffer

Firstly @bold: Request you to refrain from personal comments.

Secondly:If you noticed TM(nirwana) states that she/he is disappointed with both the characters, not only Dev which seems to be the focus of your reply.

Now as for sons never going against their parents, thats a gross generalization and untrue. People do marry without their parent's consent and manage to live happily. Now as for Dev, he never really questions his mother, does he?And no, the drunk confession does not count.
Dev was responsible for the break up, it was he who acted without a thought(even if we give him a pass for the first scene when his mother was ill)and behaved in an immature manner. Sona has made her own share of mistakes. No denying that, both were responsible for the engagement fiasco.

As for you being happy with the track, well good for you. Everybody has different expectations and if yours are being met, then its fine ,you are welcome to put your varying opinions respectfully and extend the same courtesy to others.

Thank you😳
Agree with your post and unfortunately Sonakshi has made her own bed now,she will have to be ready to face the struggles ahead alone.
The writers have rushed it and given a very dis -satisfactory separation and patch up.Sorry for the short reply, can't find it in me to make a long post after today's episode(major disappointment for me)

Today's episode was all about Ishwari. It was not about Sonakshi ,not about Dev- Sonakshi's love. Only about Ishwari's need to somehow gain back her status as God, all about her need to control every aspect of Dev's life and ensure it by hook or by crook that nobody gets an upper hand over her.Love? Concern for Sonakshi's happiness? It's not even on her radar. She is speaking the words but not feeling them . Its all about getting that one toy that her son can't seem to live without

As soon as she saw Bijoy leaving, the coast was clear for her. She knew that all except Bijoy were easy prey, and she worked it to her benefit. How cleverly she used the the love Sonakshi's mother had for her against her. Those well timed side glances to Asha trying to convey how much Sonakshi needs to be a part of Dixit family. She so innocently claims that it was her who was denied the opportunity and time to understand Dev- Sonakshi's love. Such motherly concern towards Sonakshi, she only wants Sonakshi's happiness and good life after all.

How perfectly timed ,her defending Sonakshi when GKB speaks against her? Perfect strokes one after another. She left no stone unturned to get the reaction she wanted from her audience, the Bose family. And she succeeded.

Sonakshi(Based purely on precap)- I have no words. I am shocked to see her giving in so easily. That wasn't expected. Few sweet words and you forgot all about the insults and snide comments Ishwari passed? So easily fell for her act when you have seen her reality?Where is the Sonakshi who wanted Dev to respect and value her?Where is the Sonakshi who saw that she had become an option for Dev? Where is that girl?Has your love made you so blind that you fail to see Ishwari's truth? Are you so willing to enter into the hell that would be Ishwari Niwas, that too without Dev's support?

Had Dev actually made any efforts and then Sona would have helped him convince her baba, it would be understandable, but first his mother did all the work for him and now Sonakshi is.

Asha- I fall short of words to appreciate this character. She is the epitome of a mother. She is willing to forget her own pain and pride if it means that her daughter will be happy. She has always respected Sona's decision and let her make mistakes and learn from them. She trusts her daughter to take the right decision for herself, her life and her happiness.

GKB- Wasn't her comment so appropriate today? The goat is being fed before being slaughtered.

Very well said!

Sona is so 'you get what you see'kind of a person,I am afraid that this eagle named Iswari will try to chew her bones and spit it out .Her illusion will evaporate once she will realizes what a fighter our Sona is
