They can't make up for everything that happened by showing us lovey dovey scenes now, knowing that they are our weakness.
According to the segments, they are again making promises to each other. My dears, can y'all please make good on the promises you both made to each other and then ruthlessly broke before making new promises?
Sonakshi convincing Bijoy would've made sense had Dev put in some effort to win back her trust, made efforts to apologize for his behavior to the Boses, done absolutely anything instead of sitting there idly. Like I said before, he is happy now as long as no one else is in Sonakshi's life.
never in my wildest dreams did I think I would feel this disconnected to both the leads of the show. I can't even watch the post confession episodes without feeling totally dejected. Their promises seem so hollow now. Meh!

Completely agree. Will we even be able to be completely happy to see the romantic scenes if Dev ends up doing nothing?I sure won't.And will making new promises matter after all is back to normal? Isn't that the same as before? He confessed and made the sweetest promises while they were in their happy bubble and now that Sona is back to him without him having to do a thing about it, he'll again make those shallow promises. But this time I can't completely blame Dev. Sonakshi is letting Dev play with her.She is letting him get away with not taking her family under consideration. If she is happy to be back in his arms without any effort on his part, why will he even try?He is clueless as ever.He is again getting her too easily. She will suffer the consequences of her own decision when history repeats itself.
The episodes were so beautifully handled initially, we could understand all the characters even if we didn't like certain aspects in them. We still liked them and could understand their view. But now?All three characters have gone beyond understanding.

What are your views on this infertility track if shown before marriage? I can't quite get myself to feel satisfied even if Dev now supports Sona without addressing the previous issues before.Although as per segments it will be revealed after marriage😕

I had a suspicion that this track might happen pre marriage. So that they can show Dev standing up for her and not leaving her - thereby redeeming himself. This is the logic the makers seem to have applied. But to be honest, if Dev didn't stand by her after knowing about the infertility he would automatically be categorized as a jerk. So there's really not much of a redemption. I would have much better preferred Dev winning over the Bose family and Sonakshi's trust little by little, in trivial issues. Its the little things that count. Sonakshi hesitating a bit to trust him completely and him winning her over one step at a time. That is something I would have loved.
Revealing after marriage doesn't make sense at all, coz it would seem as if Sonakshi hid it from him, which would be bad characterization. I hope it's not revealed after marriage and if they want to deal with this track then better have everything in the open from the start itself.
You know, I've started to adjust my expectations now. I have accepted that we will never really get that introspection or redemption in the terms we want. Period.
Dev supporting Sona will definitely be contributed as a redemption by many, but I will always end up a little dissatisfied. Ah well, we're not the writers of the show! What to do!

Yes, exactly. Dev supporting would be basically humanity.Otherwise he will be a jerk.A major problem should not have to arise for him to take action. The little things matter a lot and make a huge difference. Also i think infertility is a sensitive issue, so to use it just to show redemption? That's bad. If it had been shown as a standalone issue that they faced after marriage without putting the redemption factor and then dealt with it, that would have been ok. Otherwise its all just being mixed up. Its like you are dealing with the wound inflicted later on but completely overlooked the wound that is still raw and not treated.I don't know if that made sense.
But yeah, we can only watch and ultimately we end up being dissatisfied because we are not the writers.

I agree. using the infertility issue as a way of redemption is kind of a cheap shot. It's an intimate issue that affects a lot of people and should be treated with dignity and respect. Had it been a standalone issue post marriage, it would've been welcome. It would be a whole new 'rang' of their love. Inserting it now, as a way of redemption, is totally unnecessary. They could have achieved the redemption and introspection track much easily in a span of a week without having to amp up the drama quotient. I would've happily jumped on board and would've probably supported Dev leading upto the 'World's best proposal'. Speaking of, where did the proposal go? According to the segments everyone is busy planning the wedding. World's best proposal not happening?
The infertility issue is a topic that is sensitive and really really private and intimate to the couple concerned. They should first show a little bit more passion between the couple. The body language, level of intimacy required between couples before addressing this issue is totally lacking between Devakshi. Now they don't even need to show intimacy post marriage coz they are dealing with this track before marriage itselfWhy are the makers so averse to showing intimacy between the lead couple, I really don't understand.

Yes, till now all that've been getting is cutesy teenage romance, hell in fact teenagers are also more passionate than Devakhi at this point. The makers have a pair with such good chemistry but they have failed to utilize it.And it would be strange to see the track when that level of intimacy is missing.

On a side note, Shaheer really needs to tame his hair. Its gone from hot and handsome to drab and shabby.Even in his iv, his shabby look was all I could notice. It does not look appealing.

Where is that girl?Has your love made you so blind that you fail to see Ishwari's truth? Are you so willing to enter into the hell that would be Ishwari Niwas, that too without Dev's support?

Had Dev actually made any efforts and then Sona would have helped him convince her baba, it would be understandable, but first his mother did all the work for him and now Sonakshi is.

Asha- I fall short of words to appreciate this character. She is the epitome of a mother. She is willing to forget her own pain and pride if it means that her daughter will be happy. She has always respected Sona's decision and let her make mistakes and learn from them. She trusts her daughter to take the right decision for herself, her life and her happiness.

GKB- Wasn't her comment so appropriate today? The goat is being fed before being slaughtered.

@ bold - exactly my point. Where is the guy??😡 He got drunk and created a scene. His mistake. She ran after him. Her mistake. But at least she is facing her mistakes... apologizing for them, trying to rectify them as best as she can. He is not even facing... forget facing... I don't even see him acknowledging - except for that one sentence he said to his maa - mujhse bahut badi galti hogayi.

And let me tell you - I so did NOT expect him to walk into her cabin with a bunch of flowers, the day after the engagement fiasco and say - maa maangayi hain. Let's get married!!! Not a word of apology BEFORE mouthing those words!! Like seriously???

Yes, yes! He was stalking her , not leaving her alone for a minute when she was about to get engaged. And suddenly he accepts defeat when shesaid no? Even when he apologised to Sonakshi in that scene, it was an after thought, that too to pacify her anger, not because he understood anything.I cannot forget two scenes, one where he walks with a smile as if nothing happened and tells her to get married because MAA mann gayi and wants her bahu and second when he says" To maan kyun nahi jaati jab maa keh rahi hai"
The girl and her family deserves an apology Mr Dixit! A genuinely felt apology.
