Today's episode was like a subtle battlefield, where everyone is losing!!
Dev has already given up.
Ishwari wants to win the battle, of getting back the prince's happiness ar all costs. In the process, she is losing, Can you imagine Ishwari actually took so much of insult by Bose Family with such serenity. Unbelievable, but that is how a mother is. Once she decides to do something for her child, she goes all out.
Obviously, will a son want her to go all out? No! No child in this world would want to see his parents lowering their heads down, for them.
Dev's refusal to Ishwari is so understandable.
They edited out the 'atmasamman' dialogue for the good. Now, his giving up is primarily for two reasons,
One he does not want Ishwari, his god's head to be lowered for him.
Two, Sona clearly said she doesn't want to go ahead with the relationship. Either he respects her decision and wants to give her the space, accepting his defeat that the damage he has done is irreparable. Or He knows Ishwari's coaxing won't convince Sonakshi, because he knows that the rift is because of Dev's decision and not Ishwari being the driving force about the breakup.
I am good with either of themđđ
Bijoy is losing out on her own child's happiness. Did he see Sonakshi's face when he insulted Ishwari? Hope he realises this soon, and tones down his demeaning language. Glad Asha stopped her on the sharabi word,
Sonakshi is the one who is losing the most. In the battle of pride and Families, she is losing her love. She knows he loves her, she loves her too. Ishwari has agreed. But, she wont marry him because her family is hurt. That is it.
She feels guilty of hurting her parents, of letting them down.
She trusts Dev even now, she did earlier too. Blind faith, But that faith wasn't enough to assure her parents who were proved right, Even now, that faith isn't enough to reinstate her parent's pride and happiness.
So she also decides to give up.
I am so happy Sona is clear about Ishwari. Still is respectful for her. .and stops Dada and Elena to bad-mouth her. Also, she knows the problem is between Dev and her!đ
BTW, now we know from where does Dev get this 'I can wait till infinity till I meet you' trait fromđ Like Mother, Like Sonđ
Ishwari needs to know that all decisions are not irreversible, the damage she has done can't be repaired without deformity in the piece. She can't control everything.
'Sath hone ka faisla tum logo ne kiya, alag hone ka faisla bhi tum log karoge?'
Yes, Ishwari it is only Dev Sona who can mend this bridge broken by egos, broken hearts are not mended so easily. Unless Dev-Sona talk it out, focusing away from their families, they can't get back together.
In this battle, the prince and princess have resigned, waved the white flag, but the army behind them is fighting. .
P.S A big thank you to those who take out the time to read and comment on my posts everyday! I apologize for not being able to comment to each one of individually sometimes.
