Confusions were still bubbling over. Was everything supposed to fall in place so soon?? Not yet!... Someday everything will make perfect sense. But not today & not tomorrow. It was a wonderful episode...where Ishwari & Dev were trying to please/convince their loved ones & Sona was the 'pahad'.

So what does the heart want?

Ishwari's - She can't see Dev hurting like this & she'll do anything to give him his happiness back. But her insecurities & her possessiveness are shoved behind. It's taken a back seat for now.

Dev's - His mother now wants him to bring Sona as her bahu & he can't contain his excitement & he runs to her. All he had to do was give Sona some time to heal. She needed that & she deserved it. Balance is the key to all. There was no balance in Dev's head or heart.

Sona's - She was guilty of putting her parents through shame & she couldn't think about anything else other than that. Her parents & her self-respect is given top priority now but what happens to her feelings for Dev?

Ishwari knows she's at fault. She was blinded by her own ignorance which mislead her completely. All this while she was only looking at things, but she wasn't seeing those things clearly. She failed to notice how her son was in extreme pain because of her. She was drowning in her own insecurities & possessiveness that she failed to see her own son drowning. Looking at him bleed tears of blood was the only way her eyes finally opened. It was only when Dev asked her if she was happy that she knows whom he loves the most 'Mil gaya hai na tuhje jawab?...Tu jeet gayi hai Ma, tu jeet gayi...did her ears open as well. Till then she couldn't hear his silent screams which hed kept bottled up inside him.

"Khoon ke aasoon roya hai, andar hi andar goot raha hai, kya iss sab ki doshi mein hoon??"

"Wahan mere bacche ka dil toot kar bikar raha tha, aur muhje uski aawaj..." I have to say this. I felt this pang of sadness for her when she said this dialogue. That she finally understood that she was a horrible mother & she couldn't hear his screams. I couldn't help but feel bad for her (I had to be kidding right). Supriya was brilliant here.

Ishwari knows how it feels when a daughter's engagement is called off. She has seen how Neha was shattered when her engagement broke. Sona & her parents were going through so much of embarrassment & shame because of her son & she was directly responsible for his behaviour. She was the root cause for all the mess that was happening in everyone's lives. As a mother to three girls, she failed to see the pain of a girl as well who was so deeply in love with her son. It was she who was controlling everyone's lives which finally ended up in a pool of mess & it was she who had to mend things.

She was not blaming her brother for her mistakes. But I felt she wanted him to speak his mind out one last time to clear all the clouds of confusion. She wanted him to scold her, lash out on her & say that she was wrong. She wanted to feel that pinch; she wanted to feel the same pain that her son was going through. Mamaji tells her that the truth will always hurt. The more she was trying to suppress the truth, the more inevitable it was & it would surely find a way to come out. He tells her that Dev wanted to see his mother breathe... so instead he cut his oxygen supply a little bit. And in the end he couldn't take more & he ended up suffocating & collapsing. Ishwari got to listen to the truth when her raja bacha was drunk. Her son has never spoken to her the way he had spoken the previous night & she didn't know how she was going to face him.

When Ishwari heard that Dev didn't remember anything what happened last night...it was like a ray of hope...that she could do something so that she could finally see her son happy. For now Ishwari was only addressing her son's pain but what about her insecurities & possessiveness? The moment Dev sees Ishwari, he tells her that he ruined Sona's engagement. This son was pure gold...how he tells everything to his mother. Felt very sad for son's like Dev. Ishwari takes him downstairs because she wanted everyone to know about the decision that she's had taken.

"Maine faisal kiya hai...mein chahathi hoon ki Dev ab shaadi kar le... Sonakshi se!"

Dev's was confused when he heard the word shaadi & he was shocked when she said Sonakshi. Mamaji was confused when he heard shaadi, wondering if his sister understood anything at all but was happy when he heard Sona's name. RR's reaction was priceless throughout! This decision of hers was never going to change. Her son had to be happy (period)

"Dev ki khushi Sonakshi ke saath hai, aur meri khushi Dev ki khushi mein."

Dev wasn't sure what brought this sudden change in his mother & he immediately refused. He tells her to take her decision back (am so glad that he didn't fall for the first given chance). She convinces him that she was not forced to take this decision, in fact this was supposed to happen long back. It was inevitable. The veil of confusion was no longer covering her eyes. She could see everything clearly now - him, Sona & herself. There was no point in running away from the truth now. Sona & Dev couldn't be without each other.

"Maan ja, Dev!" She pleads for his happiness. Dev was so deliriously happy that his mother was giving him a chance to get his life back. That his bhagwan realized that the pain he was going through needed to end very soon. And his bhagwan wanted him to be happy. But there was a bhagwan who was above this mortal God who wasn't going to make it easy for this mother & son. Dev was looking at his mother at a very superficial level. There's more that he's got to unearth. But now only Sonakshi mattered to him. That smile on Dev's face was such a pleasure to see after seeing him drowning in so much of sadness & pain.

Dev waits in Sona's cabin. He's got her flowers... Sona was surprised to see him in her office.. Really? How can she be surprised?? Dev has always come chasing after her...didn't she know that yet? 😆

Dev, when will you learn that Sona needs time & every time you go running to her you're only getting matters worse? After the engagement fiasco, you had to just apologize to her & her family for the shame that you brought them. But again, it was your happiness that was on top & not Sona's pain. Mr. Oblivious Dixit is back...well he never went anywhere😆

"Ms. Khargosh, ab hum duno ke beech mein koi nahi aayega", Dev tells her. Sona's immediate verbal slap was the best GET OUT! Dev was confused & his 'what' was priceless.

"Ma humare liye maan chuki hai, haan keh chuki hai." He tries to tell her that his mother has accepted them. That she understands him, his pain & his sadness that he was going through. She understands the depth of their love & that they can't be without each other. She wanted him to go & get her bahu. Sona's immediate reaction was to clap at his golden words polished with honesty.

"Aap aur aapki Ma ab khush hai." In the entire speech, "Aap hai , aapki ma hai...only ek problem hai ki mein nahi hoon!"

Sona has been bitten brutally once. How could she immediately understand him? Why should she? She needed to guard her heart from breaking again. The pain that she was going through was raw & extremely painful & she needed time for the first wound to heal before accepting anything good or bad for her. Sona was tired of being the third person. It was their relationship, Dev & Sona's...Not Dev-Sona & Ishwari's. Dev needed to figure this out. Just because Ishwari agreed to their relationship now, he couldn't scuttle back to her & expect her to come back to him. In Dev's eyes it was only about him & his mother & not about Sona at all.

Sona's phone ka lock screen logic was bad! Wasn't she behaving like a phone's lock screen now as well? Anyways, her anger is justified. It was about them first & then came everything else. I was surprised that Dev didn't shout back at her when Sona was mocking at him & his mother. Well she was perfectly right.. what could he do, other than stay mum.

She wanted him out of her life. "Agar duniya mein kisi ki feelings ya emotions hai toh sirf aap duno ki." What a brilliant dialogue. Phew... These dialogue writers are just too good. Sona couldn't control her anger & frustration. She lashes out at him... saying that even after breaking up he stalked her, he tried ruining the new relationship that she was about to embark, he'd ruined her engagement...& now because of him her parents had to face so many insults & shame. And all he was doing was begging her to come back into his life because now his mother was okay with them. It was unfair to expect everyone to dance to the tunes of this mother & son. He'd lost her the day he said his mother didn't like her & he'd lost all of his 'haq' as well.

"Agar aapke ma ke seenae mein dil hai, toh mere seenae mein dil hai." If his mother was hurt then Sona was also hurt. He wasn't thinking about Sona, her pain & her parents.

Dev apologizes that he was wrong & he wants her to forgive him. He wanted her to give him a second change & give their love a second chance as well. "Please forgive me, Sonakshi!" Dev pleads her. Sona was exhausted now. She tells him that his mother was only trying to get the toy back which made her son happy. And she was definitely not a toy. And who knows the toy might be thrown away again. How can Sona waltz back into his life when she knows that one day she will be treated like a princess & then the next day there are chances that she'll be unwanted? She didn't want to give him or anyone that power.

Sonakshi was right all the way but did she realize that she was digging her own wounds deeper & deeper? Ruining her engagement was not only Dev's fault. It was her fault as well. She had to take onus on that. She can't keep running away from Dev when all she wants to do is run to him. All she needed was time & not locking herself out from Dev, her love. Dev made a mistake & now he was asking for her forgiveness & he has to earn it the right way. Sona was doing the same thing what he did before & in this process she was only hurting Dev & herself all the more. But Dev also needs to realize that there's more in a relationship apart from his mother & himself. So Sona's dose was perfect.

Dada's anger is justified. And Sona understood that Ishwari was/is holding the reins for this love story. She was not going to accept Dev (which she will fail soon) & she was never going to forgive him for the pain he caused.

Meanwhile the Dixit's are waiting for Dev to come back with Sona. But Dev tells Ishwari that Sona doesn't want to marry him. And now we're going to see Ishwari go on a begging spree. So excited!...Just can't wait to see how this story is going to move forward.

P.S: Am not going to decode Ishwari's conversation with Nikki & Riya! This woman is plain delusional. Right now it's her son's happiness that she's addressing. Her fears will slowly come out in the open maybe post their marriage. And Supriya is just plain awesome. 👏

Amazing & on point analysis Aksh.👏

Problem with these 2 kids(makers/execution) is, they are going in circles. One is keep on doing mistakes without any introspection and other is keep on doing mistakes with out owning own actions & blaming others for consequences.

Perfect analysis of yesterday's epi.. Iswari is still the same and so do dev.. sonakshi have to invest a lot of time and effort to bring a small change even in him... because he is made up of what Ishwari taught him to think, feel n act.. 28 years have gone and the shades are so dark that sonakshi is going to suffer the most...
I can deffinitely imagine what all can happen after the marriage..because I am sailing the same ship for 5 years and the"C" of change has been just begin in my husband.. ofcourse positive change without hurting his mom he just started to think other's concerns and point of views too..

So miss sonakshi bose prepare yourself for the war.. I may say Cold war... You have a lot on cards😃
