I just think this was Sona at her most human. She's had her own way of coping with everything and it's all fallen flat, pretty much like Dev's attempts at coping did. Because both made a beeline for absurd paths. That's just it with these two. They're not even close to being perfect, unblemished ideals. They're both prone to bad judgement, hasty decision making, stupidity and yes, not being able to make out the difference between what really make sense for their families and what really makes sense for themselves. And hey, don't we all know people like that in our lives? I know a lot of people might not agree, but personally, that's what I love about them and the love story they make together, being as imperfect as they both are. 😊

Also, I should add that I'm not denying the moral compass of the real world here either. There is no denying that Dev's stalking Sona was a terrible thing to do, and Sona's running out of her engagement leaving not one but two families in the lurch, in full public view, was terrible too. I hold my opinion with these facts very much in mind. 😊

If they started living happily and started handling every shit with maturity, who would watch such boredom?

Rithvik was not kept in dark.. he knew she has a past, and and her break up was fresh. Not saying he deserved it, but Sona actually saved him by giving clear indication she has not moved on. Even marriages break, if people started looking at everything from humiliation point of view, no one would be able to rectify mistakes made in life, or move on once they realize marriage/engagement/relationship decision was wrong.

chill guys... Ritwick walked into all this mess knowing very well what he was signing up for,.

didn't sona tell him that she is trying to move on... she never said she was over DEV.

even when asked abt the whole engagement thing, she very clearly said she is trying to overwrite ...

we very well know even if something is overwritten, the original still remains, until it fades out completely.

Well as to the parents being mocked at :

1. if ritwick's family had issues in accepting sona, after the newpaper fiasco, they should have clearly back out.Did they not have a conversation with Ritwick about the status of his relationship with sona? sona is not their property ... she is human, she will be in the family only because of her relationship with ritwick. As long as he had no issues, i dont see any reason why the family should be cribbing. if you had issues, you should have warned your son about entering into such relationship rather than blaming someone else's daughter.

2. Asha saying that they can call off the engagement. seriously ?? if you really understood your daughter and knew that she was not yet ready, then as a parent with a better judgement why didn't you call off immediately? were you not the ones who were crying OTT begging ritwicks father not to call off the alliance just a day before.

if you were really concerened abt ur daughter, why did you not give her enough time in the first place.???? even if sona was the one who was insisting that you go ahead, i do feel as parents, who have seen the emotional growth of our kids, we can sense their emotions much better than the kids themselves.

Bijoy is another ishwari in the making for me. he takes too much pride in sona but does not really understand that she is a human after all and has her fair share of flaws!!!!

Agree with you. Sona's parents would have understood her if she needed time. Ritwik is never at fault. He always said don't rush up things. The way she handled herself after break up needs retrospection.

She has no right to humiliate her family and Ritwik's family.She just betrayed their trust.Indian society is not that benevolent towards such incidents. Sona's family will face so much. Even Ritwik will be ridiculed.His bride to be left him with the ring and ran to her EX.

It takes so much time to get the wounds healed,For Bose family and for Ritwik and his family.May God bless them with courage and strength.
