Thanks Nas for making this post. I have been following this show from its conception and loved numerous moments between Dev Sona, both family members, the story telling etc. But these past few episodes post break up have left me disappointed.
I wanted to see a mothers journey from being possessive about her son to her letting go of her obsession, coming to terms with the fact that she cannot cling to Dev forever. He need a life, family and love of his own. This journey of Ishwari started well but somewhere all this drama is unnecessarily forcing her to accept Dev and Sona's relationship.

Time and again we have been asking for a show that is path breaking. That steers away from stereotypes that are bombarded on us in every other show. I was waiting for this show to do that. Show anger, resentment... Yes... but problems solved through controlled reactions and Matured
conversations. But suddenly it took the common path of self destruction and destruction of others for the sake of personal goals.

I do not know in what sort of Love the makers believe in. It seems the writer has overdosed on a staple of Mills and Boons in which we have women falling for the arrogant act. It is utterly misleading and untrue. What is the idea of Dev's love? Is it only about showering Sona with gifts? Is her presence in his life only to listen to how his mother sacrificed for them and how they came up from poverty?
One bad patch in their relationship and he starts rioting against her! Where was his love for her when he did things against her? Dev says to Sona I am not so strong like you. But He was strong and bashful enough to do wrong things towards Sona and Ritwick! Characters have been given a lot of leeway under the name of being flawed, weak or in love. As if these are their tickets to perform villainous deeds!

You have written perfectly about Dev, Sona, Ishwari and Ritwik.

Thinking of stalking, spying, emotional harassment and invasion of privacy as romantic/love story hai chalta hai is positive approach?

Supporting a guy for his looks and not for his good personality is positive approach?

Supporting spineless guys who can't stand up for themselves is positive approach?

Thinking it's okay to cross all limits of sanity for love is positive approach?

Insulting a good person for no reason, dragging him into your mess for no reason, leaving him at the altar os positive approach?

What exactly is positive approach?

loved your caption. this story is all about these 3 most imperfect characters.
This is the story of how a "SPINELESS" dev, due to his lady love earns his "SPINE".
This is the story of how a "selfish and Blind " Ishwari, learns to open her "EYES" and "SEE" things
This is the story of how a "STUPID" Sona, emerges out of her "STUPIDITY"

Since you started off so beautifully , let me make you see the other side of the coin which you are conveniently trying to brush off!!

1. for the son, when did he see his mother as a "HUMAN" for you to be complaining in the first place.
for him he will always hold his mother at the highest pedestal and he need not show it in actions to prove his devotion for her. when ishwari could outrightly accept natasha , a random girl thrust down his throat for a damn deal, sona was her dearest nootrishan, the one she looked after as her own daughter, had emotional connect , took her along with her to a party... i can go on blah , blah, blah... why on earth do you expect that dev would have any doubts about his mother accepting sona and that she needs TIME????

For him the only reason him mom was angry is because ishwari had figured it out, while he did not tell her about this most important part of his life, himself. so as soon as he came clear with Ishwari, the chapter is closed. period.

2. his mother taking pills is not the driving point dear... if you have not watched the episode , i suggest go watch it again... his mother blaming herself that she is not happy with her sons decision and calling herself as a bad mother was the break point. He can bear anything, but not a freck of disappointment in his mothers eyes, and here she was not only disappointed, but DEJECTED and calling herself NAMES.. do you think he would behave rationally.

3. he ignored sona ????? are you sure??? how about the phone conversation he had with sona where she clearly stated that they are strangers now... do you think for a man like Dev who never opened himself even to his mother, to be able to digest the fact that the only person to whom he has bared his soul, treats him a stranger now!!!. can his mind even process what was being told, to react ??? to me he is brain dead, even to invoke a reflex action as soon as sona called him a stranger!!!

4. Who said ishwari is WEAK?? what everyone is afraid of is not her emotions/health but her EGO. They all know how she relates even the smallest action of Dev like eating a halwa to him being devoted to her!!! how to make a egoistic person like her to come out of this lala land without mentally disturbing her??? since you want the story to be realistic can you give some ideas to the CV's ???

5. Sona, she too was in her own dreamworld, wasn't she?? for her love was always a fairytale where a prince charming would sweep her off her feet, and they will have a happily ever after. Dev being her prince charming, always treated her as his queen. You call her strong and LOVED her way of handling the break up??? so moving on means get hooked to the first available bait... shabaash...

6. Dev was stalking her, oh so she knew it and had problems with it?? hahaha... who are you kidding, atleast dev maintained his distance. She on the other hand directly goes to his house at the slightest pre omnition... ... i think we need to redefine stalking.

7. is it fit of rage,??? i dont think so. The best of both Sona and Dev came out only after verbal spats. every instance where they challenged each other, ended in making them aware of the new layer of emotions/side of other person , brought them more closer to each other emotionally and binded them with unseen twines.

8. darling when you are broken/shattered , the person who needs to be sitting next to you is" THE ONE" who can make you assemble all the broken pieces. not your family/fiancee/spouse because they are related to you. one look at his room, sona knows dev is on the verge of self destruction. NO amount of self respect is worthy when it comes to mending a broken individual. let alone respect, there is no humanity left in you , if you chose to evaluate your worth over somebody's very existence.

9. oh so you feel inviting an ex is a stupidity?? really!!!,
true yesterday you were hitting the headlines along with your ex and your so called fiance's family had issues with it.
Today when you are walking into their family with you head held high infront of your ex, mere presence of him shall cause them embarrassment. iska matlab yahi huva na, that as long as your ex is not picture , they are ok with you but at the mere sight of ex, they are reminded about your flaws????. same goes with Ritwik, if he did not have issues in accepting sona with her share of past relationship, he should not have any problem in seeing her ex in the party. Sona's family, Ritwik and his family knows that DEV is "EX"- that should have silenced them . why does an EX bother you so much when sona's "CURRENT" and "FUTURE" is right next to her????

Is Ritwik blind??? did anyone force him into this relationship,?? Did sona not make it clear to him that she is trying to use him to overwrite her past?? . so when you have walked in with our eyes wide open , why complain that you are being "USED" .

of course DEV was sleep walking.. he love his sleep and his dreams, he never wants to wake up to harsh realities...

<font size="2">Firstly i am a firm believer that anybody who has invested in the show has a fair right to criticise it, and i may not have been a regular visitor to the forum but have made na effort to come and post whenever i was super impressed .. which was the proposal .. so me and everybody else gets the right to comment when they DONT like something .. and if the die hard fans find someone trying to SPOIL your forum and romantic bubble by negativity then try to answer logically, with examples from the show - saying plainly "our devaskhi are not perfect and if u want a [perfect love story than watch something else". Seriously? Devaskhi are not perfect is the ONLY argument i have come across. Whch love story has EVER been perfect on television, films or books? NONE. Everybody has thier flaws so i guess people need to understand that Devaskahi are not the only ones been NOT perfect. I have been a fan girl myself i can understand how glaring errors seem nothing but try to answer logically so we have a discussion instead of throwing the person with an opposite reaction out of the forum.</font>

<font size="2">Secondly on the episode - RUINING OF THE CHARACTERS is the only thing i can say.</font>

<font size="2">Dev Dixit is a person who grew up in extreme poverty, build up a status for his family and is now going to get drunk on his ex girl friend's engagement party? I get he is NOT perfect and he is too much in love with Sonakshi but the character needs to stay realistic, this person will outrageously risk his reputation because he is unable to control his feelings? Werent they suppose to be mature lovers? A person who took sona to all the important places of is childhood and said he loves her like a man loves a woman? and very sweetly used to end fights with, "gift lena hai k larayi karni hai?'</font>

<font size="2">And Sona is another dissappoinment. I was super pissed at the office scene saying, i will come back to you if you want to marry me? Hello girl! Are u in ur senses? and also .. plaving his head on her lap .. mujh se dekha nai jata hai ye sab .. putting ur parents thru utter humiliation .. what kind of a girl are they showing her to be? She was firm to question him in the hospital k apni maa se poch k wada kiya tha kya? .. and from that onwards .. its been a downhill!</font>

<font size="2">This OTT break up drama has been a major put off! The writers turned it into a complete filmy story with the Sujal grewal OTTness which is indigestable! On top of that Shaheer is a weak actor. He somehow managed the earlier simple in love sweet hardworking persona but now i feel his eyes are gonna pop out. I have no idea why CVs are ruining the show and the lead couple by giving them situations they CANNOT emote.</font>

<font size="2">CVs should seriously cut down on the filminess and try to remain real and relatable to the characters they created.</font>

<font size="2">Also, please no offence but ADHM titke track rendition was the WORST part of the episode. The expressions, the dancing everything was SO out of place! God ..</font>

<font size="2">and on the plus point, Sona looked GORGEOUS! A typical bengali beauty!❤️</font>

After reading this post: My reaction

People are analyzing characters without looking into in-depth problems of any character.

Simple logic is :

But anyway thanks for making this post.. Activity and viewing will definitely increase 🥳

He wants best of both worlds be good in front of both Ishwari and Dev
I won't justify anything about today's episode by telling all things about live adjustment
Nothing else its just that ritvik suddenly got very popular and cost couldn't handle the other lead to be good
In old times it was shown the other guy to be bad but now cos are turning more weird they want other guy to be bechara so that the main lead can kick the other person out of their life to show their upper hand
I kind of like ritvik he IS MUCH PEACEFUL AND APT FOR ANY GIRL AT LEAST COMPARED TO DEV
It would have been sensible if a girl marries dev for his money rather than his heart, his heart n mind both are confused which any girl doesn't deserve
Ultimately sona proved she is dumb as she fell in love with Dev.😆

Love it😆

The mute point is - positivity means going gaga over the love of MLs.
Appreciating the emotions of MLs especially crying and dripping eyes
Looking into eyes

And let other things be dammed. If people are hurt, your family looks stupid in presence of friends and relatives - just bcoz you love someone. ha ha ha

if you dislike all the 3 protagonists of the show, it is going to be tough...Ritwick is anyway leaving the show...
Hope you find a serial you enjoy watching just like most of us here love KRPKAB and won't miss even a single episode...why? Because we understand why Dev, Sonakshi and Ishwari behave the way they do..no one is perfect but that does not mean we can not try to see their point of view...
No hard feelings...just my POV!

The Mahaepisode was indeed worth watching. Shaheer was excellent. The agony of seeing your love being taken by another man was played to the hilt. All the three characters of Dev/Sonakshi and Ishwari are well etched. Each one is gullible yet lovable. We meet such people in our everyday lives. The show is worth a look for its excellent script and direction. While Supriya Pilgaonkar is an exceptional actress, the seasoned actor who acts as her Bro, is so good. 👏

I realised later that the relentless promos were not only for the soap but also for the delightful single (title track of Ae dil hain mushkil) so beautifully placed...

Kudos to Sony TV and Dharma Productions...
