Yes, she send the invitation to Dev to help him moving on and to meet for the last time, but she very well knows that Dev and promises don't go hand in hand ,that he might create a scene.She even didn't think that it will not go well with her parents and Ritwick.I felt she wants this engangement to be cancelled😆
