Fantastic post! Loved it. 👏 While reading it, I have to say, it tugged my heartstrings and was tearing...
Beautifully written...😊

I felt so much of pain seeing his pain reflected in his eyes in that last few seconds of the walk...It said it all...betrayed by the person whom he gave up his love. His helplessness. Now standing all alone with nothing to look forward in his life...!

Sometimes, you dont need to ask all these questions to his mum...his eyes and his body language spoke volume. So sad to see this...from an aggressive man to a broken man...

My heart just went out to Dev to see him in this dire state...left alone by all. He has no one. No one at all .😭

I have to say Shaheer is doing a fabulous job in emoting so well...his voice modulation, the way he asked his mother...Why? in that soft tone...also depicted his pain...this guy...is just so perfect!.I have no words to describe that scene...I cried and cried...still am thinking about that scene...gosh how painful it must been for him...

End of the day...the walk was of a lonely man who lost everything, and walking with his head still high but his heart broken to million pieces with tears welling in his eyes...the worst betrayal of all kind...by his own mother!

What does the future hold for him...?

Sujata----- a tight virtual hug for you 🤗 for conveying this so perfectly... Yes Ishwari did what she felt was right for Sona but not for him, not for her own son, her own flesh & blood... And Dev was shattered because of this. He was already shattered but now his mother crushed him so much that he was in a powered state... What he felt didn't matter to anyone...

🤗thank you my love😳
This show and characters and widening my own understanding of people and characters..specially shades and layers of characters..earlier I was like Dev should do this or do that...but off late I am just understanding him and his reasoning and ..woaah when I am not judging .i am able to get that ...issue aunty ko samjhna thoda mushkil hai...😆
Dev was total broken yesterday
..everything is taking toll on him and he is losing on evey front and he has no will left with him too not to lose it...this is worst thing in human life...losing is natural and totally ok..everyone loses at one point or another...the problem is when person give up and feels no motivation to get back on his own feet again and start from scratch...I think promo might show that...but I don't know what will happen between these two days that will make Dev so angry

Awesome analysis Sowmi...I loved the continuity that he was totally drunk and his shabby look the next morning...much needed...his mom also is knowing that something is wrong...
Waiting to see the day when Ishwari will realize that its because of her separating him from Sona he is lost..I want Sona's words to play in her head..Even if you win, its Dev who lost.

"Dead man walking" is a saying used in the States as a man is walking to his execution and it seemed an apt phrase for Dev tonight in the final 10 secs of the episode. What little life was left in Dev after his confrontation with Sona the previous night was knocked out of him after finding out what his Mom did. As he walked away the tears and look in his eyes protrayed the devastation of the reality he just learned. When Dev decided to break up with Sona it was only after hearing his Mamaji tell him his mother did not like Sona. Last he had spoken with her, at that point, she reassured him her happiness lies in his happiness. And then he finds her unconscious and breaks up with Sona without ever asking her whether it was true or not. She hid her true feelings then, why did she not share with him then what she said today? And here once again he finds out a truth about his mother from another third party, the marriage broker. But this time he asks her about it, thankfully. As she was explaining away Dev is looking at her and she cannot meet his eyes, It is not until she mentIons "merely only sending the relationship" for Sona and then placing blame on Sona's family for accepting it that he finally looks away. It was too much for him at that point. The man was just talked off the ledge last night only to now have his mom pretty much push him over.

His words to his mom were "I am not placing the blame on you, maybe you did the right thing." So many ways to interpret these lines. I feel like the first part is definitely he is not blaming her because he is blaming himself. He is the one who definitely did wrong, if he had not done what he had done, his mother would not have had this opportunity. Plus Sona the night before had said she would leave everything behind and marry him if he asked, but knew he could not because if he did he would lose his mother. And here standing in front of his mother he realizes this is not the mother he knew and worshipped, that mother is already lost. So what did he sacrifice his love for? This is what I interpreted from his lifeless hug of his mother with Sona's words ringing in his ear that he has no place in her life anymore. And the second part I think the "maybe" is the key part of those words because that is yet to be determined by what the outcome is. And my delusional self feels like the "maybe" is connected to the "lekin" the marriage broker was cut off before sharing. Guess we'll find out.

Another gripping episode yet again. . I was at the edge of my seat throughout the episode!
I thought it will be not-so-interesting because of Ishwari.
But, cvs never disappoint.

First things first, I am so glad the aashirwaad ceremony is already done without much drama⭐️ +1 for this.

The segments dramatized it so much that I thought we would get an entire episode for the ceremony.

Sonakshi fighting with herself, ,to get over Dev. She is hating this feeling that she can't forget the times with him, that she can't stop loving him. Ritwik, the ideal one, is perfect for her as a partner. .but her heart has already fallen for Dev. Is it so easy to move on? No, it isn't. For the first time, Saw Sonakshi angry on herself for not being able to move on.

But, the entire episode belongs to Dev.
Oh my! I feel so so so bad for him He is in such a helpless situation, no one standing by his side and all he can do is keep sacrificing his own happiness for the sake of his mother's virtues.

The entire ground beneath him shook when he knows that Ishwari fixed the allliance. On one hand, the Bose's were fighting about who was to be credited for the alliance blissfully unaware that Ishwari, the person Bijoy despises the most is behind this. . (I am eager to see his reaction) and here, Dev comes to know that his very own God, just ensured that his heart broke forever. ? I felt like going to give Dev a hug then, to say It is okay baba! No one is yours. . Go ahead, live your own life.😭

His business is suffering losses, depression so evident from his body language, yet Ishwari relates it to work pressure. So ignorant.

Can you please take a bow cvs. For how subtly this was done.👏 It would have been un-understandable had Dev angrily went to Ishwari for confrontation.
He decides to talk to Sonakshi first, who is fighting with her emotions. . and then is reminded of his last promise, ends up blocking her. (They always use Erica's pictures as dp😆)
So to restrain himself.

Next morning, Poor Dev is so shattered to even talk to Ishwari. I loved how cold he was unknowingly. .it soothed my heart. But at the same time, could not help but feel so bad for Dev. He is so shocked,
People don't question their gods, Do they?
Dev tries to escape the confrontation, walks out, stops. Looks at his home.
Ishwari Niwas.
For the first time, Dev feels betrayed in his own house.
Goes back. First step taken already. It would have been so difficult for Dev to actually question her. I can imagine.

Ishwari is such a manipulative woman. The look on her face when Dev told he knew. At first, she almost blurted the truth.
That she thought Sonakshi was at fault, To have made his son fall in love, that what she did was never liked by her.

Shaheer's expressions were phenomenal here👏 From shock to despair.

Ishwari tries covering up her faults, spills it all on Dev.
I tried, I tried accepting her.
Even I was affected by how this relationship broke. Mera bhi kuch rishta tha us se.

What rubbish Ishwari. Her emotional blackmail certainly worked on Dev. That her mother didn't have bad intentions. She turns and he stops him.
I was shocked and facepalmed when he stopped her. But, kya kare woh??
Does he have any other option, but live with the fact that He has to please his mother to return her 'unconditional' love. .without thinking about his own.
He is reminded of Sonakshi's words. .That he holds no place in her life.
His world comes crumbling down..

That entire ten seconds walk💔
Summed up his state. :(
He felt betrayed, helpless, broken. That he can't do anything, that his mother herself is breaking his heart brutally, and all he can do is quietly accept the daggers thrown at him, because his mother is his world.

In sanskrit, there is a shloka,
"Kuputrojayet kwachidapi, kumata na bhavati"
Meaning, A son can be a bad son, but bad mothers don't exist. Even the worst possible humans have goodwill for their children.
Ishwari is such an exception.

Wow...just wow...I loved the post...echoed my sentiments...that walk just killed me...I was moved to tears...I felt like jumping into Ishwari Nivas and hugging him...Dev, the only person who loved you unconditionally and who could read your mind and emotions was and is Sonakshi...Your sisters have not come to you even once...your Mamaji cares more about his evil sister than you...lesser said about mental Mata and GKB, the better...
Come on now, man up and go fight for your love...I cannot wait for that scene where he would be lying on sonakshi's bed with that bandaged hand...you don't get to decide your family of origin...you have got a golden opportunity of choosing a wonderful life partner...Just go for it...Do tarah ke log guy might be great, but he will get his true love(who loves only him with all her heart) soon too...
