Oh he knew what she was going to ask of him!! He knew she was going to cut off his reason for living with her next words. The sheer terror in his tone and on his face told us that he knew. Yet he asked.

I actually FELT him struggling to get his breath. The way he said that one word - O...K. The way his voice broke when he asked, Sagai kab...hain. And oh God!!! His next words... the way he dragged them out of his chest - hhhuuummm eekk aakhri baar mil nahi sakta!!
We saw the broken man last night. The man who promised never again to interfere in his lover's life. There was pain. Helplessness. Fear, as he wondered how he would go on without her. But there was no anger.
And we are going to see an angry man during the engagement as per the promo. He is going to be coldly furious. His sarcastic clapping and his Miss Bose are pretty obvious.
So... what is going to turn all this pain into anger?? What is the trigger?? Yes, he will come to know about his mom sending the alliance to the Bose family. But that is in today's episode. We still have Thursday and Friday episodes before the Monday Mahaepisode. So it can't be just his mom's betrayal.
What else could happen?? Would he come to know that Ritwik / Rithik is not Mr Perfect after all?? I promise kuch galat nahi karunga! Kya galat?? She told Dev last night while referring to Ritwik / Rithik - I trust him. So were the claps and his sarcastic Miss Bose his way of telling her that she trusted the wrong guy again?? Or is there some other reason??
Yes, he made a lot of promises before and broke them all left, right and centre. But this promise he made yesterday - I don't think he would break it. Or rather, he wouldn't break it without a good reason. I am wondering what that reason could be.
