Reaching this state after a conversation would mean you at least tried but without even trying, to destroy everything and then vent out on Mom asking, 'why did u do this'... Boy, you allowed it to happen and pushing blame on to each other will not help...

But that's the greatness of Indian TV. Kids (no matter what age) should not/cannot ask/question/have a different opinion than their loving parents. They should just swallow everything until they suffocate... Parents Bhakti in a twisted way!

Either kids revolt or fully sacrifice.

Agree with everything you said but again started being hopeful for the plot to develop in the right direction now maybe.Too soon to hope?
In every Indian show, you are "sanskaari" only if you accept everything the parent says without questioning. Have a different opinion? You have zero values and no respect for parents.🤪

Dev lashes out at his mom under influence. Crying, falling apart,Tells her that you have won, Are you happy now that I have proved that I love you more than sonakshi. Questions her on her overdose of sleeping pills. Mamaji also tells Ishwari to open her eyes and see how she has reduced Dev to a lifeless man.

Hahaha... I think that's best...

Nothing much happened... The sanskari Son finally vented to his Mother under the influence of alcohol... Yup, he needs that pseudo strength to talk to his Devi Ma ...

Talk about playing victim! 😆

My 2 cents - hope at your own risk 😃

How far have you got?

Go straight to epi 29 and continue from there.

Depends on what the expectations are. If the expectations are that this stalemate had to end somehow and story has to move forward - then yes I suppose

If you have any expectations that Sona will be won over and would need to be reassured, her trust won- I would urge you to proceed with caution

The whole needing alcohol to vent issue aside, they seem to be taking a rather simplistic approach. Apparently Dev knew all along that mom was insecure and did not just dislike Sonakshi. Which brings me to my next set of questions -

1. Why didn't he ever reassure Sona that it is not her but mom is generally insecure??
2. Didn't he ever think it was unhealthy if the dislike was not for Sonakshi but just insecurity? Did he expect to stay unmarried??
3. What am I even bothering to ask questions as though everything has been very logical of late?

@bookworm @arch: Taken under consideration(sigh)
My expectations in bold. The marriage will happen, the adjustments after will be shown but I don't want them before justice has been done to Sonakshi. Dev has shattered her trust, made her question herself, I expect all that to be addressed by Dev. I don't want the story to move forward only for the sake of showing a change in Ishwari's character.

Thanks for the update😊
So that was the Deewangi they were talking about?😕
Well, this was expected I guess, he can never have a sane conversation with his mom that's not "Mommy you so great I love you"
