I have seen since the breakup episode was aired many people were angry at Dev... Then after DevAkshi breakdown, all of us felt really bad. With Sona's approval for engagement with the new guy, some of us were like she's doing the same thing Dev did. She's just like him. Some were like Dev deserves this. For what should she wait. Some are of the opinion that the 3rd angle was not needed, a girl don't need to get married to move on in life. She can concentrate on her career too... I have been thinking a lot about making this post and here i am with my POV on the whole scenario.

We all have seen their love story. And even before the love story started we have seen how as an individual Dev is and Sona is.

For Dev, his family was always his first priority. Specially his mother. We all have talked about it many a times. When it comes to his mother, his own life is even not important to him. And Sona is his life. Nothing could justify the way he behaved with Sona. What all he said on the breakup day. She doesn't deserve the kind of treatment she was given. He cannot make the decision, without even telling her. It was her love too. But was it easy for him. We have seen him telling her many times, i want your approval before taking decisions. And nobody can deny, he mean it when he said that. He kept telling her all the time, that he want her 24*7 with him. She complete him. She is the only thing he want for himself. In his entire lifetime, he has never wished anything for himself before. We have seen his state, whenever they had an argument and were not talking to each other. He cannot bear her silence.

He want to see her everyday. Want to meet her, talk to her. Share whatever happened in the whole day with her. For him she was already his life partner. The man who once told her "Achche ya bure, kisi tarah ke bhi aansu nahi honge" is the reason for her pain, her sufferings. But was it easy for him. Is he not suffering???

If you remember he used to tell her "Pata hai jab aapko haste huye dekhta hun toh aisa lagta hai iss duniya me dukh hai hi nahi, problems hai hi nahi. Sab thik hai. Aur jo thik nahi hai wo bhi jaldi thik hojaega". Now he is the reason of her sorrow. Now she don't smile and he is responsible for that. But is he happy with it. No... He's going through the same pain. And he has nobody to share his feelings, his pain with.

When he confessed his love to her he said "Jaha sab kuch khoya tha, wahin sab kuch pana chahta hun". She was everything to him. And once again he lost everything he had. He is completely broken from inside. He's putting a brave face infront of the world. But when alone, he is vulnerable and weak. Even a small wind will shatter him now. And Sona's acceptance of the new relationship will do that to him. We have always discussed earlier in DevAkshi relationship Sona is the mature one and Dev is immature. And in immaturity he takes decision that hurt others and him too. But when he realise his mistake he apologize for them.

Talking about Sona, she has gone through a lot. Before Dev's confession and even after that. This girl deserve only love and not the pain she's subjected to. Yes she lived her perfect love story with him. And she deserve her fairy tale love story. She has given her all to this relationship. She has been the best girlfriend for Dev. He cannot get a girl who's even close to what she is. She was the only one to understand him completely. She was the guiding light in his life. She gave her everything to this relationship.

She always kept saying, she feel it to be a dream and she don't want it to end. Dev kept reminding her it's reality and they'll always be together. He'll be by her side always. She has accepted Dev with his imperfections, with all the complexities attached to his personality. She loved him the way he is. For her, the world revolved around him. She was always the first one to ask a sorry in their arguments. She was the mature one.

Even when Dev was talking about ending the relationship, she wanted to make him understand. But he was not ready. She even woke up at night with just a car's horn in a hope that he has come to assure her things will get fine. But that never happened. Her anger for him is totally justified. He took away the trust she had on him and on herself. Now she don't even trust her own self. This separation made her devastated. She has become lifeless now. Trying to be happy for her family but broken inside.

Once she told him "Dev, aap mere liye itne important ho Chuke ho ke aapke alawa mujhe aur koi hurt hi nahi kar sakta". And he did hurt her. She is angry and she's taking the decision of getting married in anger and impulse. Just to make her own self believe she has moved on and to let him know she has actually moved on. He has hurt her and now she is doing it to him.

My point here is we have seen DevAkshi from the start. They are not perfect. They are normal HUMAN BEINGS and humans do make mistakes. They have made their share of mistakes earlier and can do mistakes in future too. The good thing is once they realise, they apologize for the mistakes and that is what the most important thing. We always say the show is realistic. Then in reality everybody commit mistakes. Don't we do that. Does that mean, we deserve to suffer the whole life for 1 mistake.

If we accept them as characters, we need to accept that they have their own flaws and they don't deserve to live their lives without eachother. As they love each other more than anything else in the world and they still do. If any of them would have moved on, then it was correct to say that they should remain the way they are now. But it is not the case.

Everybody deserves a second chance. And DevAkshi too deserve to give this relationship a second chance. But first Dev need to realise his mistake and take the punishment for it, which he'll surely get in the upcoming episodes. Accept it, that we always want a second chance in life, if something went wrong because of us, then why we don't want to give it to these characters.

One more thing i want to add in this. That it should be only Sona's choice if she wants him back in life or want to move on leaving behind the past. But we all know she still love him. Lets see how the story further unfolds and Cvs will convincingly show the further developments.

This show actually made me think as if these characters are for real and i can relate to them. Don't know how i wrote all this. But do share your thoughts on this. I would like to know what you all think.

Most PERFECT post that there can ever be... For making others understand what they should understand in the first place!! If u don't get the base n essence of the characters in a near reality show, there is no point in watching it!!

Dev loves Sonakshi and can't live without her.He will bring Sonakshi back in his life .

Love your post!!! Well said.yet at the same time, I feel Dev deserves this pain. I mean of course its hella heartbreaking to witness the break downs but oh well, I'd much rather see pain and angst than see a happy ending at the cost of sacrificing Sonakshi's self respect. I feel here, Dev was very very very wrong. Sonakshi has fought for her love and witnessed a lot of pain before Dev confessed. She has also seen hardship after love in Dev family and experienced pain of not fitting in. Dev got his love very easily, he didn't have to work for it. So I feel he needs this. Sonakshi completely molded herself to fit in with his family and accepted them. But did Dev ever consider them as his own? Did Dev ever need to fight for Sona? Did he ever take a stand for his love in front of his family? NO!! He didn't! He has never realized the worth of the gold he's lost now. And now he will truly know how important she is. As Sonakshi rightly said, he is completely blindfolded when it comes to his mom. He can't see the truth, ever. He needs to walk out of this bubble.

Also, the break up was so cruel. If he wanted to end it, he could've been gentle, subtle and more mature. He snatched away her love, her reputation and her self respect. He kicked her out of his job.

Here I feel that CVs have kinda messed this up a bit. I mean in this break up, they haven't shown as both the leads at fault, it seems all towards Dev. I mean if I was that girl, I wouldn't be remotely close to the guy who broke me so badly and I would literally date someone to break him. What Dev has done is ridiculous and I really don't know what and how he's planning to get Sonakshi back because it seems like a dead end now. Its utterly wrong to say that they have equal fault in this. Sonakshi has done NOTHING to deserve such bullsh*t.
