Wonder ful post jyoti 👏 👏. If you need to understand dev then you need to understand his back ground, his strength, his weakness, his childhood. It's difficult to understand dev character. For some of them life is black or white there is no Grey. Life is not black and white. It's like rainbow. Each color indicates each emotions in your life. There is love, hate, anger, jealousy, pain, sadness these emotions are part of our lifes. Dev did so many good things and bad things too. Seems like people forget what good things he did and hanging on only on his mistakes. And he didn't change over night. He is constant In his character . and sona loved him with his flaws she understood him and accepted him the way he is. It's some people who failed to understand him. If people want to judge a person then consider his good things and bad things both then decide he deserve second chance or not. Dev deserve second chance if he is ready to accept his past mistake and rectify and it's sona decision to if she wants to give him chance or not.

Jo trust me u wrote everything which i had in my mind.. I was supposed to post a topic like this.. But no wonder i could not explain it all as the way u explained.. This was a much needed post... Many r forgetting that these characters r very real.. No matter they are fictional but the represent the real... All are humans all made mistakes all have own helplessness all have some boundaries all have their own n responsibilities. So if we demand always the perfect scenario than it would be wrong. This show and characters are different from other shows just because of its own real touch. So in real no love story no person can be perfect.. We need to accept the imperfection. This is what we neef here too. Very nice post dear. Totally agree with you

Jyoti Perfect Posts...
Its not about who is perfect . We all have our flaws and yet we are perfect for our spouses and life partners... We cannot look at anyone else just because the situation changed or someone is a little better than our partner

We are not shopping for the best available in the market.. Its about love. If it is there it makes everything perfect provided the 2 people involved work towards it.

Dev and Sona need to work towards it.. More Dev than Sona but both need to. Dev needs to earn Sona's trust while Sona needs to forgive and learn to trust him again.

They definitely deserve a second chance and yes the choice has to be Sona's not a situation forced on her but a conscious decision that she takes and chooses to move ahead with Dev.

Awesome Post!!👏

Jyoti such a beautiful and well explained post👏👏

People really need to understand the 4th part of your post. To err is human. Everyone makes mistakes in their lives and there is no doubt Dev has done a grave mistake. But that does not means that he must suffer all his life. Even in reality family members or loved ones commit big mistakes but don't we forgive them gradually or do we hold on the grudges our entire life. I have personally experienced this in my family.

Sona has lost her self-confidence. So she is going with the flow to trust her parent's choices. In a way she is looking at this new phase to escape from her past. Dev is going to suffer a lot with this jealousy track and yes this would be his punishment.

Dev is still stuck at Sona while Sona is trying to move on. It is now important for these two to realize that they can't live without each other. Agree with you even after Dev's redemption, it should be Sona's choice to go back to Dev or not. She should not lose her self-respect in this process.

I agree with almost all to your points.. Specially about Dev..
However, just want to add something to the part where I disagree.. Sona is not agreeing to marry in an impulse or because she is angry with him.. She is not angry at Dev, she is deeply scarred.. And she has no faith in Dev or in their relationship anymore.. She is not someone who takes decisions in impulse, she genuinely wants to move on and wants to give it a try.. This accepting marriage proposal is a part of her sincere promise to her parents that she did about her moving on..

Another thing is - I totally agree with your last stanza of 4th post.. It should be Sona's decision.. Agree she loves Dev, but love is not enough to keep a relationship going.. Respect, mutual understanding, effort and equality are greatly important factors.. If these are there, love follows.. But having said that, sometimes a girl tends to ignore 1000 vices of a man whom she loves.. It depends upon person to person.. Yet to see what Sona does here.. This is more about Dev getting a second chance.. He has to improve hell lot of basic qualities to match upto Sona's and impress Bose family.. Let's see how Dev does it..
