This promise is made by sona that she will not leave him , even if he leaves her.
I wanted to know if this promise is possible in practical real life.

as much as it sounds romantic .what type of girl will wait for the guy who have dumped her?

Personally I think that promise was very regressive in nature . when she made that promise i was banging my head.I am glad sona broke it😆 otherwise i would have judged her so hard and CV's also 😆😆

I wanted to know if sona should wait for the dev even if he had dumped her without her consent ?

is this promise is applicable in real life also? what you guys would do if you are in sona's position. Since this show is all about realistic story 😆

please share your view.

I would have felt awful .. Yes
But at the same time, I would have waited for Dev to come back & realise his mistake !
I would never have thought of moving on !
Cz I seriously think whatever he did was just about that moment .. He couldn't think of another way to make his mother feel satisfied !

How long you will wait for him?? If Guy literary told you he can't be with you because his mom doesn't want you in his life so he's also leaving you.

Then didn't even try to stand up for you. I am sorry to say that will very toxic relationship.

You want me to be frank n honest ??
Ok, then here it comes.
I'd do the following things in the following order-

a. During break up, I'd give him a harsh dressing down , and called him out on his creepy weird relationship with his mom.

b. For a few days after break up, I'd mutter curses under my breath constantly against him n his lot. IN the mean time, sending him legal notice for unfair termination without notice period.

c. After a few days have passed , I'd have calmed down , try to be cool as cucumber , sip on a big cup of coffee ( it always calms my nerves ) n reflect on the entire mess.

d. Then , I'd be thankful n grateful to God that I got rid of him from my life , since I deserve so much better.

e. Had a completely make over , go on girl's night out with friends , spend quality time with family, n gradually opening up to the prospect of meeting newer greater greener boys.
f. After 2 months at the highest, er... Dev who ?? I'd forgotten...

P.s.- I know I'm a strong no-nonsense woman !! 😆

One could remain as a friend and nothing more in the others life to keep the promise.
I dont believe mein apko nahi chodungi means i will remain songle for you... That is regressive thinking.

Sona wouldnt have broken the the promise if Dev hadn't given his irrational hasty decision. He didn't even ask his mother her version why didnt she like Sona? He would have known the reason.

Just because Mamaji mentioned not to call her. Sona was the cause of it. Dev should have discussed with Sona to come to a conclusion. It would have been a mutual consent.

Sona gave a perfect solution to Dev by saying Goodbye Mr. Dixit. Now it is Dev turn to regret making those hasty decisions and would know how to balance his equation between his mother and Sona.

if I were Sona, i wouldnt have gone to him back, I would have moved on.

I've seen so many break ups up close , including my own and that's how normal people deal with break up, I assure you.😆
Yeah I know , you can't run a telly soap by showing normal people, could you ! 😉

In which context she made that promise tho. If she will consider him to remain just friends even after break up I am all for it.👏👏

But staying single and waiting for him so that he can come back to you. 🤢

I think its up to ppl and their love for the other person...that is why it is said love is blind. We cant judge how the other person feels ...its so very personal. 😊 ...There is nothing wrong with the way you thought, from your point of view its absolutely right...but sometimes ppl get too involved in a relationship , that they forget themselves and their needs...I know ...it sounds crazy...but there are ppl like that ..

One of my relative..her husband left her because she had 3- 4 miscarriages and did not have kids ..and finally he said he didnt want her...ended in a divorce...she in the court didnt go against it , nor asked for alimony ...she just let him go...even today she wears that mangalsuthra and waiting ...hoping that one day he will realise her love and come back...its more than a decade now...she has not lost her hope... You all might think she might not be much educated...no ...She is highly educated and a professional too...but she decided to wait ...and never complains...
