Why are the makers not sticking to initial promos? They showed Dev and Sona very cordially discussing their issue. Sona asks him to raise the issue with Iswari. Dev tells Ma Kuch kehti nahi..
They did not look like separated and drifted apart.
Even in the next promo Sona calls up and Dev asks Abhi tak Naraz ho? Sona says Nahi that's why I didn't write karela Ka juice in her diet.It implies she is monitoring her health from hospital though she didn't work at Dikshit mansion.

It appears the makers forgot they have two protoganists. Not one. They should do equal justice to both of them. I feel hurt at the way they handled Dev's Charecter in the Break Up scene. Just half an hour before he promised loyalty commitment love to Sona and immediately he will throw everything in air?

At the most they should have shown Dev asking Sona not to work at home till things will change for better. Dev Dikshit will never be so insensitive and rude to his love. Never. He knew it was he who confessed first. Not Sona. Then why would he just say let us break up? Ridiculous.

The director and writers did not care to maintain the dignity of Dev's Charecter. Yes he was rude before. He broke the phone yelled ... But not now. He very well knows how important his love is for him.
At the same time he also knew he can not hurt or lose his mother who is every thing to him.
It would have been nice if they showed Dev call up Sona and explain the situation briefly. It should be followed by a heart to heart talk and an amicable temporary separation.

The initial promos really promised a different mature handling of the story where all the three charecters would get equal importance. But no the makers spoilt the show. They spoiled Shaheer's Charecter. And they may spoil the show even more going by the third Charecter introduction Jay Soni.
Where is the necessity? Dev need not be shown jealous to realise his love. It will make the show pathetic and run of the mill kind.

Shaheer ! Sheer injustice to you I feel bad.

Request; CVs please don't ruin Shaheer's role even further by showing him drunken, imbalanced etc.
You should respect his stature in Tele world. He is not playing a negative Charecter . I hope you would make amends and make his Charecter flourish.

This has been on the cards for some time. Remember "Mai rang mehsoos nahi karpata tha" as in he can do it now??

That's the biggest joke ever. He couldn't think of his mother's feelings when he sat down for the pooja, nor was he thinking of Sonas when he was so rude to her.

Samne ma ke mooh pe muskan nahi hai when he comes clean with her and he thinks she is absolutely fine with it ...aur usko Rang dikhai dete hai... Yeah right😉😉

You had hit the nail on the head.. this current turn of events show something else.. I thought i was almost alone in this forum who thinks like this, but am glad that there are others that feel the same way.

One of the reasons that i liked this show was for its maturity of handling issues .. but what we are hearing or seeing from promos is far from mature..

Even I was thinking the same. .I had so much expectations after watching the intial promos n I expected a mature love story where they will be together as friends even after the breakup ..I don't think any show till now has shown something like this ...glad to know I'm not alone who was feeling this...from couple of episodes the focus is only on Sonakshi's character...now we have jealousy track .. really ? Is this what we were promised in the first place ...
Wish people who are on twitter tweet this to makers ...

Thanks for feeling the same. It hurts to see Dev behave in such a way. No need to ruin the Charecter and hurt Shaheer fans like me.They should have handled the scene in such a way that would have proved that it is really different and real.

Thanks for having the same thoughts I was one of the millions who liked the initial promos so much and fell for the show. On top of it Shaheer is there. But now the show has become one dimensional ,biased in charecterisation.
And the jealousy track will show Dev even worse.Just like any normal TV hero.I can't bear to see Shaheer like that. And I can't stop watching. He is there.

i have a different POV, the promos shown must be after these turmoil, where Dev and Sona patchup and have become emotionally more mature.
Both want to take the relationship further , but are skeptical that Ishwari will never agree.

i dont think Shaheer's is being treated unfairly. Infact he is getting the best chance to show his acting abilities. The way he brings alive the romance or turmoil is worth watching.

on a serious note, i have become an ardent fan of shaheer only because of his portrayal as Dev.

I respect your opinion, but I disagree over here. So what I felt was that everything we saw was sheer frustration and agony. Dev wasn't a lover anymore, he wasn't Dev. He was Mr Dixit and he was only a son at that time. I'm not on his side at all because obviously whatever he did was just disgusting and inhumane. I'm only trying to justify whatever happened was also thanks to the circumstances as well. He nearly saw his on a deathbed and hearing her cry saying she was a terrible mom was the last thing he ever wanted and there only he decided to separate himself from Sonakshi, at least mentally itself he already left her. And when she finally came, he began to literally break his own heart which is with Sona's and smash it to a million pieces and hurt his own love as well. Sonakshi deserved NONE OF IT. She had no fault and Dev was just blinded by it all. I don't feel CVs have changed anything so I've no problems :) can't wait to see Mr Obhodro back and Sonakshi Bose back more fiesty
