The episode made me proud of sona, yet again. The girl is something else😃 But it also made me very very angry with Dev. More than I was yesterday. The way he removed his hand when she tried holding it, the way he was so blunt and rude and plain disrespectful. He was speaking as if they committed some sin by being together. Ishwari, I'm not gonna talk about her. I'm mad enough as it is. The precap just added salt to the wound. He had the audacity to call her? Seriously? He's too much right now.
I agree with everything you've said on your post saumya, except one thing. He is NOT a good son. A good son doesn't blindly listen to his mother when she's wrong. A good son communicates, tries to understand his mother's behaviour and gently, but surely guides her in the right direction when she falters. The value systems in our country have instilled it in us that our elders can never be wrong. But that's not true. They are human after all. It is our responsibility as children to guide them if they lose their way. Our quite submission is not a sign of respect, by not calling them out on it, we're disrespecting them by letting them become socially irrelevant. This is something Dev needs to learn. I'm looking forward to see him suffer. Sorry if I sound sadistic.
