I just watched the episode and my heart broke for Sona. In the midst of making Dev's mom happy, Sona has forgotten herself. I mean, "I want to become a perfect Bahu", what is this?! Sona was never like this, she's changing herself so much for Ishwari's acceptance to the point she is becoming a whole new person. The look of effort on her face as she was talking to Ishwari really broke my heart, she's putting her whole heart and soul into making this lady happy and she doesn't even give one slight glance?
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU, Bijoy!! I truly love you sooo much. You are the father that everyone needs and you have come to save Sona at the last moment. Without Bijoy noticing this drastic change in Sona's behaviour, she would have completely changed herself by now. I love the fact that he's scolding her not to cook because Bijoy knows Sona, and the true Sona, who's currently being covered up by this love struck Sona, would have thanked him for this because Sona isn't a person who wants to cook, and if she doesn't want to/doesn't like to then nobody should change that. I was disappointed with Asha though, she knows Sona so well and yet she has not realized what this love has made her daughter into? Come one Asha, open your eyes and help your daughter so that she doesn't forget herself because of Ishwari.
I really need Bijoy to stop Sona for a moment, look her in the eyes, and make her realize this change. I can't wait to see how she realizes what her determination for her love for Dev has made her into, and how she's going to stop it. The moment she understands what is happening to her, she's going to finally stop the whole -I want to be the "perfect Bahu"- type nonsense. And she'll become the badass Sona from the initial episodes.
This is Sona, she never was going to change for anyone, and hopefully, she never will. Her being married to Dev shouldn't change her being herself. The stubborn, loud, strong headed, and amazing Sonakshi Bose. As Bijoy said, she is perfect how she is and if Dev's family can't "accept" this, then they (mostly Ishwari) can go take a seat in -nobody gives a damn, screw you- land. I'm sorry, I love DevAkshi to the moon and back but if this relationship is going to make Sona turn into someone she isn't, it needs to end.
So this breakup is going to be exciting now on a whole new level. I think since it was both of their first love, they haven't understood certain aspects. And when they will breakup, they'll understand things like self-sacrificing, a loss of identity, to what point can you give, how you shouldn't have to choose between your family and your boyfriend/girlfriend, and most importantly, making and handling decisions together, as one. They will be a new and improved DevAkshi, like a new generation of the IPhone, but..human.
Sorry, just had to rant after seeing this Gopi type Sona, and don't get me wrong. I understand that some people want that housewife/husband life, but that's not Sona, so if someone is making her think like that, that she has to become a "perfect Bahu", it is completely unacceptable, wrong, and utterly stupid and annoying. YOU GO SONA, LIVE YOUR LIFE HOW YOU WANT AND DONT LET ANYONE QUESTION YOU! YOU ARE PERFECT HOW YOU ARE SO DONT LET SOME SELF-ABSORBED LADY CHANGE THAT!
