Shaheer Sheikh seems to be the toast of the town ever since he split from his Indonesian girlfriend Ayu Ting Ting. So, it's not surprising to hear rumours of him dating his 'Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi' co-star Erica Fernandes. There's also buzz that they are planning to take the relationship to the next level. A source from the set of his show reveals, "The entire cast and crew of the show is aware of their sizzling offscreen chemistry."
However, dismissing the rumours, Shaheer says, "Erica is fun, but I am not dating her. People assume that we are dating because we spend a lot of time together on the set. I don't intend to get into a relationship and marriage is not in the pipeline for another couple of years."
Erica echoes the same sentiment, "Shaheer and I are good friends. We enjoy each other's company as we have common interests. That's about it."
recent report suggested that the makers of the show will introduce a new hero following the buzz that Shaheer may not renew his contract. However, Shaheer refutes the claim, saying, "A new character is being introduced, but I am not leaving. The show is close to my heart and is progressing as it was narrated to me."
