I have, in earlier posts, always appreciated the fact that the CVs show all aspects of a situation. So i not sure whether this was intentional or not...the fact that today, Dev didn't really seem bothered about when and how to tell Sona's family.
All he talked about was Sona and his mom and how if these two are ok, then everything is ok. And Sona, at no point, corrected him, or even spoke about the fact that her folks know already.

If this was unintentional by the CVs - it's a big miss, because after one family knows, the obvious thing is to worry about how the other family will react. Soon had made it clear to Dev that she felt guilty she hadn't told her folks...so now that she can, will he not even mention it ?? And her ?? It's a VERY basic respect thing...the guy needs to go meet the family formally and tell them he is serious about the girl.

If it was intentional - it just further establishes Dev's selfishness I think. He is a very loving, and lovable guy...but very clearly has some big blind spots. And also - it shows that he may not respect her family as much as she respects his. he talks about her getting to know his mom...but has no interest in getting to know her parents. For a modern, open guy...that's sad.

Like I said - I am still not sure whether this miss was intentional or not, so maybe I'll reserve my judgement and see if they show anything on this in the upcoming episodes.

True.. even felt the same.. why is Dev not bothered about her family at all.. only his mom should agree.. his mom should be okay.. What about her family.. he neglects them big time.. hopefully he will meet them soon and talk to them.. he can't disrespect them..
