"hello. Bolo nikki."

"Sona..tu ready hai? Wo log agye hai" Elena came into the room asking Sona.
"Di aapke yaha koi aane waala hai kya?"
"Haan wo..Nikki main tujhse baad mein baat karti hun. Bye" she spoke with a choking voice.
Elena stood there looking at the tears in Sona's eyes, which she was trying to hide with her kohl.
"Sona kya kar rahi hai."
"Kya kar rahi hoon main."
"You still love him."
Sona kept mum for few seconds and rewinded all his memories in her mind.
"It doesn't matter now Elena" saying this she stood up and the girls went downstairs.

Here Nikki knew that something was wrong, she had heard that someone was there at Sona's house and felt the pain in Sona's voice.
Nikki kept trying Dev's phone but it couldn't be reached.

"Dono baccho ko akele mein baat kar leni chahiye." Said Rohit's parents
"Ji ji. Shona- Rohit aap log uppar jaake araam se baat karlo beta." said Bijoy.
"Nice room." Said Rohit
"Thanks." She said trying to fake a smile.
"So.. Sonakshi how is your work going?"
"Its good."
"I think aap ek bahot hi strict doctor hai. Haina?" Asking this he smiled but there wasn't any expression on Sona's face.
"Are you ok?"
"Ya..haa..i m fine." Sona diverted her thoughts from Dev and tried to listen to Rohit.
"If you don't mind me asking..aap kabhi kisike saath relationship mein thi?"
Sona's face got pale. Here she was trying to run from him and everything was making her face him.
"Wo.." and before she could say anything Rohit sensed her discomfort.
"Its ok Sonakshi. Maine toh bas aise hi.."
"No Rohit. Tum mujhse ye puch sakte ho.."
And again before she could tell him that yes she had someone very special in her life he spoke between.
"Its OK . Its OK. I don't wanna know ki tumhara past kya tha. Sabka kuch na kuch past hota hai. Main yeh puchke tumhe uncomfortable nahi karna chahta tha."
She didn't knew what to say, this guy sounded so mature and sensible. She didn't knew if she should tell him that Dev isn't just her past, she still loves him. Sona was completely lost in her thoughts and just then Elena came to call them for the Dinner.

Dev came home after an hour and Nikki rushed to him.
"Bhaiyya.."
"Kya hua Nikki?"
"Bhaiyya wo.."
"Nikki seedha seedha bata kya hua."
"Bhaiyya mujhe aise lagta hai ki shayad Sona di ko dekhne koi ladka aaya hai."
"What? Tujhe kaise pata chala?"
And she told him how Sona sounded so low and that she heard Elena say if she was ready because the guests had arrived.
Dev clutched his hands tight in anger. He straight away took his car and drove to Sona's house, soaked in anger and frustration.
As he reached and stopped his car, he saw Asha and Bijoy sending off the guy and his parents. Dev was sure now, he knew what was happening here.
He immediately went inside the house. Sona and Dadi were sitting on the sofa. As Sona saw Dev she stood up in shock. Meanwhile Asha and Bijoy too came after sending them off and saw Dev.
"I need to talk to you Sonakshi".
"Mujhe koi baat nai karni Dev."
"Shona.." Asha said and gestured her to speak to him once.
Dev and Sona went to Sona's room.
"Aap chahte kya hai Dev aap yaha kyo aaye hai mujhe sabke saamne embarrass karne ke liye.."
"What the hell is this happening Sonakshi."
Sona turned her face from him and said.
"Maine aapko batane ke liye call kia tha par aapka phone off tha."
He grabbed her arm and made her face him.
"Its not about a call Sonakshi. How can you..how can you do this? Tum ladko se mil rahi ho shaadi ke liye?"
"Rohit ek accha ladka hai Dev." Sona said with a heavy heart and Dev couldn't take what she just said.
"Oh ya ofcourse. Rohit. Bahot jaan gayi tum usse ek baar milke.
Aur main? What about me? Tumne hamare baare mein.."
"Dev pls.." Sona was having tears in her eyes and wasn't able to hear what he was saying.
"No. Tumne hamare pyar ke baare mein zara bhi nai socha? Tum kisi aur se kaise..kaise kar sakti ho tum kisi aur se shaadi..tum bas itna hi pyaar karti thi mujhse?"
"Enough Dev. Just stop it." Sona screamed as she couldn't handle anymore what he was saying.
"Really Dev? Aap mujhse yeh sab puch rahe hai? Aap..aap mere pyar par sawal utha rahe hai Dev? Dev..woh aap the jo mujhse door hue the.."
"Sona..maine tumse time maanga tha taaki maa ke dil mein tumhare liye jagah bana paau..kya tum mujhe thoda time bhi nai de sakti?"
"Thoda time? Ek saal ho gaya Dev mujhe aapka intezar karte karte. Aur kis baat ka time Dev.. i want to know.. no i really want to know aapko time chahiye kyo..aapne kitni baar aunty ji se baat kari iss baare mein Dev.

He had tears in his eyes listening to what she was saying. She was correct somehow and he had no answer.
