Hola guys! I'm new to KRPKAB forum. I started watching this show 4-5 days ago and caught up with all the 106 episodes 😆 Yup, I literally got hooked up to this show and watched it al day long for the past 5 days 😳
Anyway. coming to the point...
As much as I'm loving the changes from Dev's end due to Sonakshi, and enjoying the cute encounters between them, I can't, whatsoever, disregard the fact that Dev is absolutely doing nothing to help sonakshi get some respect in his House. I mean, she was literally being treated like a kamchor naukrani by Radha, and the least he could do was to shut her up, if not anything more. But all i saw him doing was taking a backseat and say "ab taak to aap maami ki adaat samajh hi gayi hongi". And coming to ishwari, when she used to like Sonakshi and wasn't aware of the closeness between her son and Sona, she made absolutely no serious attempt to shut RR up. All she said was "Bhabi, aap kyun uski piche padi rehti hai". Like, she was humilated, taunted, scolded without being at fault, for god's sake, and being the sensible woman that she is (except being overly possessive over her son, but I won't blame her because... I just won't ), she should've at least done something against the injustice.
I honestly can't even blame Dev entirely, because RR is something else infront of dev, but whatever he has seen, the tension between Sonakshi and RR is enough to take a stand. He said he loves her, then he should prove it as well, not just with "I missed you so much, khargosh." or "Ilove you ms Bose", but by actually zipping his mami off.
And now, his mom even started insulting her indirectly but openly and I'm sure Dev is smart enough to sense it by now, if not at the first time. If he really loves her, and respects her and is serious about this relationship, he should definitely make his mom understand and remind her that Sonakshi is here to only take care her of her, and she's been sincerely doing her job from the first day, because of which her health has significantly improved; and in return, what' is she giving her? Taunt? Cold shoulder? She's the best nutritionist in the Town for god's sake and not any servant in the house that they get to talk like that.
I know he really loves and respect his mother, and she comes first before anything else to him, but that doesn't mean that you're just gonna sit there and do nothing when someone insults your girlfriend, regardless of the fact that she comes after his mother. If your mom is being unfair, and insults your love, you GO and sit with your mother and have a serious discussion over it! Period.
And just to make it clear, I'm a huge fan of Shaheer Sheikh and absolutely in love with Dev Dixit. I'm not here to bash him or anything. However, as a regular viewer of this show, I couldn't help but stating the fact and making this post.
