Ish aunty S just a bit too perplexed now..but the moment son says maa maan jao na..she is the one who ll accept his happiness first

Sona sona sona..is fully goner in lov...really nice to see Erica evolve as sona

Dev - lost in love but still s busy hiding his feelings in front of mom and sisters..I was not much convinced with his reasons but I simply want him to enjoy his new found fun..but niki rhea neha can know..Hum ko thoda teasing session b mil jayega.

Aunty S journey s from mom to mil, dev s from son to son and husband, sona s from nutrition to dil.. Sigh what excites me

I agree on most of your points dear, just beg to differ on one.
Ishwari's obsession makes me very doubtful whether she will accept Devakshi whole heartedly..
As you said, the moment he says maa maan jao na.. that's the central plot.. he is never gonna say maa maan jao.. he will sense that she's not happy and then decide to part ways with Sonakshi..
Looking forward to seeing how the CVs handle this track..
Just my POV😊

Yes, it is upsetting more so because they have altered Sonakshi's character. It is as though in preparation for becoming Mrs. Dev Dixit she traveled to star plus for coaching. She has made him and his mom her only concern. Perhaps bahus on other shows wait until after marriage to dedicate themselves!

It is a soap so they will continue to show several instances of the same thing before people pick up on it, so Ish will have to keep at it for a week for Dev/Sona to register. Unfortunate that this show is following a template similar to other shows unlike their subtle approach earlier...

Just to accommodate Ish's issues they messed with the beautiful balance the show had for the first 90 odd episodes including the natures of the lead characters..such as making Dev look silly by not even showing some self talk on the issue of sharing with his mom

Showing sonakshi having a life outside the Dixit mansion would've really earned the makers some brownie points from my side.. I was hoping they touch upon that issue in yesterday's episode.. when her mom asked her about her recent behavior.. they could've shown it as Sonakshi's problem and how she deals with it.. but it ended way too early as she just brushed it off. Alas, I can only hope for such scenes in the future!
Dev has always been kind of a tubelight when it comes to realizing things, so he will probably realize ishwari's concerns once it's too late

@ Malvika, yes Sonakshi having a life will make what is coming up more palatable. If you remember I made a post titled - what women want and in that I praised the makers for including all the elements that women would appreciate in the show. It now appears to me that they picked up the other list from my post - what women don't want and showcasing the same! Number one on the what women don't want list was loss of dignity for the female lead. They seem particularly keen on that one unfortunately :(

It's not his fault entirely either, coz his childhood was messed up and Ishwari's manipulation hasn't helped matters in the least.. but I feel with Sonakshi's help he's growing a lot as a person.. but for that, it is necessary to notice the injustice happening to Sonakshi..
He just can't see his mother upset with him and that's y, as you very correctly said, its FEAR that's stopping.. it's been noticed time and again that Dev believes in avoiding things which he cant win.. and somewhere he's avoiding talking about his relationship coz he fears that his mom won't accept it. It's a fear on a subconscious level.. since he told Sonakshi that his mom's gonna support him in whatever decision he takes, but there's a part of him which doesn't believe himself.. which was shown in shaheer's expressions.. once again brilliantly potrayed by shaheer!

Thank you for such a sweet response Malvika!

Yes, I understand its not Dev's fault at all...I personally feel that being emotionally crippled to this extent (as Dev) is so terrible..Handling such an emotionally wrecked significant other is not everyone's cup of tea (especially not mine) ... Therefore, I am eager to see how Sonakshi deals with issues that are going to come her way due to the unhealthy relationship the mother-son share.. It will require a great deal of patience and efforts on her part as well as bring forward her inner-strength..

The Dixit's need to learn how to directly talk about the problems from the Bose family rather than repressing it ...

Sounds sane to me given d fact we are carried away by the first three promos..but latest one brings dev sona in one frame and I guess he ll break open..hoping so..but it s going to eat few filler episodes like yesday..

Ishwari aunty for dat matter will not accept sona wholeheartedly as in reality too no other mil accepts dil as der daughter..

Dev ka pata nahi, Cv s scared to hell abt handling this track. As they know how we are...

Keep Devakshi together... That makes up for all our ramblings...

He is on thinking mode.. I believe he will tur. Out to be just fine .. He will stand for sonakshi (or so I dearly hope an pray)
Let DevAkshi magic bold us over and this color of the story (latest promo) be a short lived one!

Yes, that was an excellent post! Unfortunately, Sonakshi is focusing so much on the Dixits that she's starting to neglect her own family a bit.. but hopefully they will show her addressing this issue.. the makers have had mostly hits and very few misses when it comes to this show.. so let's not lose hope and pray for the best😊

Yes, truly!! Instead of focusing that the Boses call Dev as Dev babu ishwari should try to learn a few things from them.. one being how to treat your daughters right!!
Sonakshi is gonna need the patience of a lifetime to deal with Ishwari.. let's hope she has Dev by her side which would make the task more bearable.. both for her and the viewers😃
Thank you for your lovely comments dear 😊

Yes, this is a very sensitive topic.. the CVs have dealt with most topic in a very subtle way.. it irks me to see that Ishwari's reaction seems too over the top.. bordering on obsession.. or maybe it's just her character that's like that!
Good Devakshi scenes are gonna keep us sane during these tough times.. and I hope Ishwari doesn't sneakily creep up on them during each and every scene😲
