Dev and Sonakshi were miffed with each other. Dev insisted on gifting Neha a honeymoon package to France and Sona disapproved of this. Sonakshi kept insisting that they talk about this and sort out their differences in ideas and Dev did not want to speak about this at tall (Lest she convince him with her talk). So the past two days, they both just looked at each other but did not utter a word.
On the third day, the anger dissolved but both of them were just waiting for the other to talk. Finally in the evening at around 8 PM:
Dev "Main aaj aapko ghar chod deta hun."
Sonakshi "OK"
As Dev drove, his hand touched hers and she pulled her hand away. He felt a little hurt and kept quiet the entire time.
Sonakshi "Maine aapka ghar chodne ka offer toh accept kiya, par abhi bhi gussa hun" Dev "Haan toh main kaunsa kum gussa hun? Main bhi naraaz hun."
They both were too stubborn to accept that their anger was long past.
When they reached outside Sonakshi's house, she badly wanted him to come in to her house since only Dada was inside. (The others were away for the night) Dev also wanted to spend a little more time with her. He was sure that she would forget her anger soon, if only he got some more time with her! They both were quiet in the car while both were thinking of excuses to spend more time together. Dev got an idea.
Dev "Mera phone ka charge khatam ho raha hain, aapke ghar mein thoda charge kar lun?" Sona was glad but did not want to express her feelings. She just agreed.
In Sonakshi's house:
Sourav dada "Arre Dev babu aap? Aayiye na, baitiye" he said and welcomed him in. "Sona, toh finally tum donon ki ladai khatam hui?" Dev was surprised that Sourav knew about this and asked "Aapko kaise...?" Sourav "Arre, do din se raat mein aap call nahin kar rahe ho aur Sona gumsum si thi, toh main samajh gaya." Sonakshi glared at him and said "Dadaaa!" Dev felt a little guilty. He hated to see Sonakshi upset/sad. But he quickly thought Kuch hi der mein theek ho jayegi ye.'
Sona brought some juice for Dev and Sourav and said "Waise abhi ladai khatam nahin hui." Dev looked at her and said "Haan haan, aapki ladai wali PhD kab kaam aayegi." Sona "Oh please! Aap hi mujhse har baat pe ladte hain." Dev "Main kab lada aapse! Aapko hi argue karni hoti hain aur meri har baat ko galat prove karti hain" Sona "Kyunki aap galat hote hain!"
Sourav "Arreee tum donon kya bacchon ki tarah lad rahe ho! Chup chap juice pijiye." They both then turned quiet and drank their juices, glaring cutely at each other.
Sourav got an idea to give them some alone time. He pretended as if he got a call from someone and over the phone he said "Arre, kab? kya hua? Oh no! Theek hain, main abhi aaya!" He said to both of them "Mera ek dost kahin phas gaya. Police ne usko pakad liya, peeke gaadi chala raha tha, uska license uske ghar par hain, usko chudane jaana hain mujhe." He turned to Dev and said "Dev babu, mujhe aane mein 2-3 ghante lag jayenge. Raat ho chuki hain aur main Sona ko akele chodna nahin chahta. Please aap uske paas rahiye." Both Dev and Sona were delighted to be alone, but controlled their emotions. Sourav then left, pleased with his plan.
After Sourav left, Sona and Dev sat quiet, waiting for each other to start a conversation. Suddenly Sona said "Aapko waise mobile charge karna tha na?" Dev "Oh ya, kahan hain charger?" Sona took him inside the room where Dev plugged the phone. Sona saw that the phone had about 70% charge. She just smiled to herself and thought Acchaaa, Dev mujhse aur thodi der baat karne ke bahane dhoond rahe the'. Now she completely forgot about her anger.
They both sat on her bed. He said "Toh aap 2 din se gumsum thi?" Sona "Aap bhi toh the?" Dev "hmmm. Phir bhi kitni ziddi hain aap, pehle baat bhi nahin ki" Sona "Aapne bhi toh nahin kiya." and smiled sweetly. Dev still acted angry. He just turned the other way. Sona moved closer to him and took his head in her hands and smiled. She kissed him on his lips and said "Dev, zyaada naraaz nahin reh sakti aapse. You are so cute." He gave her a broad smile. He knew that Sona realized that he was not angry anymore. He was really happy that she kissed him! He hugged her tight and held her in his arms. He said "Kitna mushkil tha do din aapke bina. 2 din se ek hug nahin, ek kiss nahin, aapko pata nahin main kaise raha!" Sona "Mere ziddi Dev! Dev "Ab se na, ladai karunga hi nahin main" he said. For a whole hour, he held Sona tight in his arms and refused to let her loose. He pampered and kissed her as well. Only when the door bell rang and Sourav entered, the love birds separated. That night, they both slept peacefully.
After all, their longest fight ended in the sweetest way possible.
