She wasn't ok even then. But she could not raise her voice for business deal was in between.

I don't believe that business has anything to do with it, because she would have expressed so much happiness when Dev broke the engagement. She expressed support of Dev's decision, and remember she did not in any way influence his choice...in fact she made it a point to tell him its entirely his choice, and that this one decision he will have to make without her input. Given all this maturity and true concern for her son, and his ability to make a decision that we would have to life with for the rest of his life. why now is she so insecure? I get her being disappointed form Dev not telling her first, but there is a difference between disappointment and and her behavior now...its downright illogical.

No dear she wasn't ok with Dev getting engaged to Nats as well. She wanted desperately Dev to say No for it, but the deal stuck things in between. She clearly showed her displeasure when she talked to Nats on the phone or she was shown talking to God for giving her the strength to feel happy. She was restless when Neha n Mami talked about bringing in changes to Dev's room.

And hence she was elated n relaxed after Dev announced a no-engagement with Nats. She wasn't bothered at all n Neha pointed that correctly.

People have a different blood group than their family. My dad's blood group is B-ve which he shares with none of us.Not his parents, not his siblings and not his kids. This being orphan sounds too dramatic for a show like Kuch Rang.

Regardless...that is not what is driving Ishwari's dislike of Sona...for she would have no way of knowing.

Ishwari had a firm belief that Dev will never hide something as huge as being in relationship with someone from her. Infact, she used to believe that if at all he ever likes a girl he will surely tell her about it. The 'right' thing from her pov didn't happen.

I don't think by right or wrong she meant that Sona is not a right girl for Dev.

Nope If you have noticed till date, we have seen contradiction in statements made by Ishwari. She never really means what she says, double standards always. Her problem was never Dev hiding things or not telling her as the first person. That was just momentarily spoken n actually valid then. She has always shown displeasure at Dev's association with any girl how so short time that may be for. She wants Dev for herself. She doesn't even want her daughters to come between her and Dev. I know that sounds weird, but she is weird to the core.

Precisely, she supported Dev on breaking engagement. She was happy n not at all bothered by what made him take this sudden decision. In normal scenario a mother would definitely sit and talk to her son to try n understand why he did so n definitely show some concern for Nats. But she didn't. Infact Mami showed normal reactions.
Again she couldn't say a direct no for Nats, because deal might have gotten jeopardized n she didn't wanted herself to be responsible for it n she wants Dev to be successful in business thus she gave liberty to Dev wishing he would say No. If liberty is what mattered she should be upset with Dev not telling about his relationship now but shouldn't scold Sona or shouldn't talk of Dev holding her finger n they being one. This clearly points to something more drastic n absolutely unhealthy. Her maturity level is zero when it comes to Dev n her relation.

Ishwari needs a psychiatric treatment.

I agree with you remember when DevAskai were dancing a lady asked her is she your bahu she made weird face " no my nutrition " she never wants him to move on in life , she want him to be her property

In one scenario act would have justified if Dev 's father had betrayed her , he died so no chance of being so insecure
As the show is close to reality , in our society many mom's don't want their son to get married they want their earning source to be only for them and with them for ever ,

Earnings to be given to mother, yes, but the holding she wants to have on Dev, no I haven't come across any such mother in my life till date.

But I am sure, makers have got this idea from some real life scenario so I feel sad for the kids who have/had a mother like Ishwari.
